Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

The last scene in memory was the swirling ball of energy constantly circling above the Demon Spirit’s carbon copy’s head...

This energy ball was radiant and shimmering, containing incredibly powerful force. Initially, Wen Yu didn’t notice anything strange about the energy ball, assuming it to be a special creature from the Demon Realm... However, when the Black River Sovereign uttered the words ”World Consciousness,” Wen Yu suddenly realized!

Except for its size, the appearance of the energy ball was identical to the Heart of the World!

The memory was complete, yet Wen Yu continued standing still, without making any movement.

He was contemplating, calculating... pondering the information revealed in the memory and combining it with all known intelligence, calculating everything about everything!

It was Satsu Maya’s World Consciousness that swallowed and replaced the Black River Sovereign, and this World Consciousness was the Demon Spirit’s carbon copy.

No, it shouldn’t be called the carbon copy of the Demon Spirit because, in the final part of the memory, the dialogue between the Demon Spirit’s original and its carbon copy lacked any hierarchy. They seemed to be communicating as equals.

No, that doesn’t seem right either, because, in Wen Yu’s view, the aura of each Demon Spirit was exactly the same, meaning the Demon Spirit always by the Black River Sovereign’s side may not be its original form.

He might also be a carbon copy, with the true identity being the World Consciousness of some world, meaning the original form of the Demon Spirit never appeared before anyone!

And this also explained the Demon Spirit’s little actions on Earth.

It wasn’t concerned with the benefits of the Demon Tribe destroying the world, or that bit of Origin Energy. It cared about a world’s World Consciousness! By aligning with a World Consciousness and then utilizing such methods to extract Origin Energy from the Demon Palace, a new Level 12 powerful expert was formed...

No, that doesn’t seem right either, because logically, a carbon copy of the Demon Spirit shouldn’t reach Level 12’s intensity. If Demon Spirit had this power, wouldn’t it have ascended long ago? Wen Yu believed the Demon Spirit’s collection of World Consciousness wasn’t merely a hobby; it had other purposes.

As soon as this thought arose, it rooted itself in Wen Yu’s mind, prompting him to ponder deeply, and shortly after, a piece of data suddenly surfaced in his brain...

Everything connected together!

The Riyarda Reconstruction Plan was certainly to save the collapsing Demon Realm. Though only half remains, it still provides a habitat and space for the Demon Tribe’s survival, indicating that the Riyarda Reconstruction Plan was completed.

And the Heart of the World Replacement Plan... replaces Heart of the World with the Demon Palace—both are easy to guess because the facts are plain to see!

However, the following two, Wen Yu couldn’t grasp when first reading the archives, but now, combined with the memory of the Black River Sovereign, the World Consciousness Replacement Plan becomes crystal clear...

The Demon Lord is a Level 12 powerful expert, the World Consciousness is also a Level 12 powerful expert. Yet, in terms of power, the Demon Lord’s individual existence as a Level 12 expert far surpasses the bloated World Consciousness.

Facing collapse, with the original Demon Realm’s World Consciousness helpless, it didn’t mean the Demon Lord was powerless! The Demon Lord replaced the existence of the World Consciousness and is bound to the highest level of the Demon Palace—these are Wen Yu’s speculations on the World Consciousness Replacement Plan.

But there’s another issue...

Where did the World Consciousness of the Demon Realm go?

Combining the memory images of the Black River Sovereign, it is obvious...

It became the Demon Spirit...

Wen Yu doesn’t understand the specific operational process, nor could he possibly understand, but judging from the Demon Spirit’s actions, it seems that the Demon Spirit harbors ill intentions toward the Demon Lord—the World Consciousness Replacement Plan, initially devised by the Demon Lord and Demon Spirit to save, led to a rift post-rescue.

The specifics of the rift, Wen Yu doesn’t understand either, but from various data, the opposition between the Demon Spirit and the Demon Lord is inevitable, and the result is the Demon Lord being confined in the Demon Palace, able only to send carbon copies to intervene—burdened by the entire Demon Realm, the Demon Lord can no longer exert Level 12 power, and in its current state, can do nothing against the Demon Spirit!

Yet, the Demon Spirit also lost genuine Level 12 power, sneaking around the Demon Palace.

It collects World Consciousness, incites World Consciousness, simultaneously finds a body for the World Consciousness and becomes part of it. Wen Yu doesn’t know the ultimate purpose, but it might be to replace the Demon Lord. Perhaps in its view, it is reclaiming what belongs to it, and considering it this way, there’s no fault.

If Wen Yu were to return to the tiered battle ground’s main city and see his city occupied by others, even with a good outcome, he might harbor other thoughts.

Thus, the anomaly of Earth’s consciousness becomes clearer.

The Demon Spirit conveyed information to Earth’s consciousness; what specifically, Wen Yu isn’t sure, but judging by Earth’s consciousness performance... it’s clearly stirring trouble...

It doesn’t care what becomes of Earth, what becomes of itself, for the entire matter provides a way out for its conversation with the Demon Spirit. Even in the worst-case scenario, it will still have the opportunity to walk the world again...

Perhaps existing in the world as part of the Demon Spirit is far better than simply being trapped in a world! It’s pitiful for those self-sacrificing warriors—what they defend has already betrayed them...

This is truly sad...

...

When everything was clear, Wen Yu closed his eyes and once again organized all the clues, and after a while, sighed.

Based on known intelligence, no matter how you think, this should be the reality of the matter, yet another issue arises—regarding this operation...

Does the Origin Energy of the Universe of Immortals and Heroes still exist in the Origin Pool of the Demon Palace, in other words, has the World Consciousness of the Universe of Immortals and Heroes not perished, but become part of the Demon Spirit?

After contemplating briefly, Wen Yu could only conclude fifty-fifty—maintaining the existence of the Demon Realm requires the constant infusion of Origin Energy. The Demon Spirit couldn’t have extracted all the Origin Energy from all worlds, otherwise the Demon Realm would have long collapsed, so regarding whether the Origin Energy of the Universe of Immortals and Heroes exists, it can only be said to be half and half...
