Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

The voice, devoid of joy or sorrow, stated, ”Who disturbed my pigpen?” Though the words seethed with anger, spoken by the Dominator, they sounded as flat as a simple declarative sentence.

The vast yet quiet palace was instantly thrown into turmoil by the Dominator’s remark.

After a long moment, a flash of golden light shimmered before the throne, and Golden Armor materialized before the Dominator.

”My Lord, we’ve discovered an issue with the Heavenly Palace.”

”Mm.”

Having uttered that single sound, the Dominator fell silent. Golden Armor, like a most loyal hound, knelt before the throne, not daring to meet the Dominator’s gaze.

Within Golden Armor’s hazy perception, it felt as if a massive power surged into the entrance of the Heavenly Palace Treasure Land. Then, a potent wave of Energy Fluctuations erupted wantonly. Golden Armor then saw the Dominator’s body sway slightly, and in the next second, the towering figure slowly rose to its feet.

”Who is on duty in the Heavenly Palace Treasure Land?”

”Reporting to My Lord, it is Number Nine. However, I attempted to contact him earlier but could not get through...”

”Mm, wait for me here.”

With the brief command issued, the Dominator didn’t bother to explain further to Golden Armor. His figure flickered and, in an instant, reappeared in another location.

「...」

The place where the Dominator appeared was as beautiful and mysterious as an independent continent adrift in the starry sky.

However, one familiar vortex after another, large and small, radiated silver light, seemingly indicating the purpose of this location.

This was the terminal from which the Dominator accessed the treasure lands. From here, the Dominator could also employ certain methods to forcibly interfere with matters within them.

Regardless of their nature, all treasure lands seemed to be instances independently established by the Dominator. The rules were set by the Dominator; however he wished to play, that was how the game would be played!

At least, in the Dominator’s presence, there was no such thing as fairness.

This also highlighted just how unrealistic the so-called ”resistance against the Dominator” truly was—it was akin to a player trying to fight a Game Master.

Of course, under normal circumstances, the Dominator would not interfere with matters here. With his power, even Sons of Heaven’s Destiny like Tang Haofei were mere ants before they matured.

Well, even when fully grown, they are just slightly stronger ants, nothing more.

It seems that since conquering the Universe of Immortals and Heroes, I haven’t been here... have I?

Gazing at the familiar scene before him, the Dominator couldn’t help but let out a faint sigh.

The Almighty Immortal Emperor... among all the worlds, one of the few who dared to challenge me. He was also the only one who had ever managed to injure me.

Yes, injure me...

This fact had left a particularly deep impression on the Dominator.

Gently flexing his right hand, the old scar had long since vanished under his power, not even a trace remained. Nevertheless, that ’youngster’s’ resolve and decisiveness had left an indelible mark on the Dominator’s heart.

So, this current game... was it your doing?

Musing thus, the Dominator walked past one treasure land entrance after another.

Until, he arrived before a colossal silver-white vortex, nearly a hundred meters tall.

「...」

Looking at the silver-white vortex, the Dominator closed his eyes again and briefly checked this entrance’s designation.

Heavenly Palace. This is it.

Having found his target, the Dominator didn’t hesitate for a moment and stepped directly into the treasure land entrance.

In my heart, that young whelp Tongtian dared to leave behind contingencies, meddle with my pig farm, and stir up such a huge commotion...

The Dominator hadn’t concerned himself with this matter for some time, partly due to his mindset of baiting a larger catch. But now, the commotion was significant enough—even to the point of affecting the treasure land’s equilibrium. The fish had taken the bait. Therefore, it was time for the Dominator to make his move.

What method should I use...

A strike of Thunder? Yes, a strike of Thunder it shall be.

Those destined to die should perish completely.

「...」

The light of teleportation slowly faded as an immense silver radiance suddenly erupted.

The Dominator’s power was so formidable that even the gate of the treasure land could scarcely contain it.

Fortunately, as one of the treasure lands with the highest power level created by the Dominator, the Heavenly Palace Treasure Land possessed immense carrying capacity.

However, even so, the Dominator’s true body entering the Heavenly Palace Treasure Land this time would inevitably cause inestimable damage. This included shortening the treasure land’s lifespan, inducing chaotic internal Energy Fluctuations, and even causing the mass death of lower-level creatures.

But none of these were within the Dominator’s consideration!

All the Dominator wanted now was to obliterate the contingencies left by the Almighty Immortal Emperor; he had no need to consider anything else!

「...」

Struggling to squeeze his massive form into the treasure land’s entrance, the Dominator sensed a significant drain on his energy, and a flicker of annoyance arose within him.

The treasure land had merely been fashioned from World Fragments. In terms of carrying capacity, it was naturally inferior to a complete world. Thus, even when the Dominator himself was within a treasure land, his power was inevitably compressed to a great extent.

But the Dominator, even with his strength vastly compressed, was still the Dominator! Still the supreme existence that ruled over all things!

On the Dominator’s figure, shrouded in dense white light, two red pinpoints of light suddenly ignited where his face would be. The entire situation within the treasure land was instantly displayed before his eyes.

Whether it was Tang Haofei and Wen Yu sitting opposite each other, the Almighty Demon Vine gently writhing beside Wen Yu, or even the countless invisible Soul Marks drifting through the air—everything was laid bare before the Dominator.

A Soul Bead, is it... And Tongtian, you certainly hid yourself deep enough...

The Dominator let out a small, internal sigh. Then, his gaze locked onto the location of the Almighty Demon Vine!

His overwhelming power surged forth, instantly forcing the treasure land’s entrance to expand to more than double its original size.

Terrifying power began to coalesce. It was predictable that the moment the Dominator fully entered the treasure land would be the moment the Almighty Demon Vine was obliterated by him.

「...」

The immense force even caused the entire Heavenly Palace to tremble. Sensing the whole space shudder slightly, as if from an earthquake, Wen Yu turned his head in astonishment to look at the Almighty Demon Vine beside him.

”What’s going on?”

The Spiritual Fluctuation transmitted back from the Almighty Demon Vine was exceptionally clear.

”A normal reaction to activating that contingency. Don’t panic.”

After uttering these words, the Almighty Demon Vine immediately fell silent. Simultaneously, it rapidly retracted into Wen Yu’s right hand—as if fleeing from something.

The Almighty Demon Vine, of course, knew the true situation perfectly well. However, confronting the Dominator was beyond its capabilities...
