At the same time Wen Yu was engaged in battle, Monkey was carrying out his final mission.

This was a suicide mission. Jiang Wentao, who issued the command, understood. Wen Yu, who heard it, understood. Even Chu Ziling understood!

Monkey understood it too.

However, some things must be done, even if it means certain death!

For Monkey, this was an order and a responsibility.

So, when the three Demon Fiends charged from behind, they faced a true warrior.

A warrior who had completely dismissed life and death!

A true soldier, burdened with honor and conviction!

Monkey was the first to launch an attack.

A plasma hand grenade flew directly into the midst of the three Demon Fiends!

”BOOM!”

The explosion rang out.

Blue arcs of electricity scattered. The relatively agile bull demon and Spider Demon immediately retreated from the blast zone. Unfortunately, the Salamander Demonic Being, with its four short legs, didn’t manage to escape!

A plasma hand grenade, capable of dealing a lethal blow to a Level 2 creature, possessed power that was definitely not easy to withstand.

This Salamander Demonic Being was instantly electrified, its outer skin flaying open to reveal large patches of crimson flesh.

This, however, only stirred the Demon Fiend’s brutal nature!

The Salamander Demonic Being endured the excruciating pain and rushed towards Monkey at great speed!

”BANG! BANG!”

Gunshots rang out, aimed at the Spider Demon, which was rushing forward the fastest.

At a distance of less than 20 meters, it was undoubtedly a sure hit for Monkey.

But for the Spider Demon, this was also within its attack range!

A green torrent from its cyclopean eye rained down on Monkey.

It spewed venom!

Monkey dodged the attack with a standard tactical maneuver and fired two more shots.

The four consecutive shots obliterated the Spider Demon’s face!

The Spider Demon twitched on the ground, clearly unable to get up.

However, this was an unfair contest.

Before Monkey could steady himself, the bull demon charged, reaching him in an instant!

Its huge horns pierced directly through Monkey’s abdomen. The bull demon roared wildly and lifted Monkey high into the air!

Blood spurted from its horns, instantly staining its face.

Its purple tongue licked at the flowing blood. The bull demon was thrilled!

Fresh blood! The bull demon hadn’t tasted it in a long time!

The excited bull demon let out a series of violent roars. Then, with a forceful jerk of its neck, it tried to fling Monkey away, aggravating the wound in his abdomen in the process.

But it didn’t succeed.

The puzzled bull demon tried to look at the small figure hanging from its head, only to see a dark gun muzzle!

Exerting all his strength, Monkey used his left hand to hold his body steady, completely ignoring the massive wound in his abdomen.

Anyway, with an injury this severe and no healing potion, it’s hopeless, right? Monkey thought.

Then, he pressed the muzzle of the Hand Cannon in his right hand directly against the bull demon’s large eye...

”BANG! BANG! BANG...”

Six consecutive gunshots.

These were the last bullets in Monkey’s Hand Cannon.

The power of the modified firearm was not to be underestimated.

The first bullet blew out the bull demon’s eye!

The bull demon roared wildly, grabbed Monkey’s legs with its right hand, and simultaneously, yanked downwards with immense force!

The bull demon’s strength was far greater than Monkey’s.

Under the immense force, Monkey’s wound tore wider. His intestines and organs spilled out. If nothing unexpected happened, Monkey would be ripped in half by the bull demon’s horn.

However, the subsequent bullets had already been fired!

Monkey’s abilities were simple and direct:

Precision (F-Class, Passive): Enhances the accuracy of long-range attacks.

Firepower Strengthening (C-Class, Passive): Enhances the lethality of Hot Weapons.

Just two simple abilities, but their class didn’t dictate their true power!

The second bullet slammed into the bull demon’s nose, instantly creating a large, bloody crater.

The third shot struck the bull demon’s eye socket.

The bullet followed the path of the first wound, burrowing deeper.

Then, the fourth, fifth, and sixth shots!

The bull demon’s right hand gradually lost its strength.

Then, it collapsed, falling flat on the ground!

The bull demon’s brain had been turned to pulp by the bullets. Besides, this bull demon didn’t possess the formidable life force of an Ancient Demon.

”COUGH... COUGH...”

Monkey, still impaled on the bull demon’s horn, coughed violently, bloody froth spraying from his mouth.

Is this... a wound... to the heart?

Monkey paid no attention to the organs spilling from his body. After all, he was dying anyway.

But the wound near his heart caused him immense pain.

On Flashing Bluestar, a world of yellow sand, the sky was a deep, somber gray.

I wonder how much the compensation will be? Will it be enough for the little one to grow up... Monkey gazed at the gray sky, thinking of his wife and child.

Given Monkey’s abilities and military status, his family would have naturally been relocated by the military.

Unfortunately, when Monkey had departed, the unit responsible for escorting his family hadn’t returned yet.

It’s been three years since I last saw my child... I really want to see you both one more time...

A crimson tongue slowly probed into Monkey’s wound.

The immense force made Monkey feel as if his heart was about to be ripped out!

He turned his head slightly. His gaze fell upon the fleshy, pale skin of the Salamander Demonic Being.

That’s right, he thought, the mission isn’t over yet.

The pain interrupted Monkey’s reminiscence.

With his right hand, he barely managed to pull out a plasma hand grenade.

The Salamander Demonic Being didn’t recognize the device and paid no attention to the dying Monkey’s actions.

Monkey pressed the safety catch. Then, as his hand fumbled weakly across his space ring, a stream of plasma hand grenades tumbled out.

”Hey, a gift for you,” Monkey rasped. ”Yeah... wish you a happy death.”

”BOOM!”

Blue plasma erupted, annihilating everything within range.

Including the three Demon Fiends, and... Monkey!

「 」

”We’ll go with this plan! Hurry! Monkey can’t hold on much longer!”

Wen Yu’s urgency was justified. In his view, Monkey definitely couldn’t withstand the onslaught of three Third-level Demon Fiends.

The difference in strength was simply too great!

”It’s alright!” Jiang Wentao’s slightly hoarse voice replied.

”Monkey can definitely hold out against three Demon Fiends. He’s my soldier, and Monkey has never failed a mission. He won’t fail this one either!”

Jiang Wentao’s words were resolute.

”BOOM!”

Just then, a violent explosion thundered in the distance.

The shockwave stirred the wind, causing Wen Yu’s torn protective suit to flap wildly.

The four of them fell silent.

Even though everyone knew that Monkey was as good as dead the moment Jiang Wentao issued his battle plan.

But when it actually happened, it still left a bitter taste in their mouths.

”Let’s begin,” Wen Yu said, breaking the silence. ”At the very least, we have to take these Demon Bastards down!”
