Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 397: Chapter 311: Oil Bombs, Defensive Sweep Battle

Otherwise, as time passes, other Burrow Monster Swarms will gradually arrive from elsewhere in the region within these six hours. We must seize the moment to swiftly eradicate the less than two hundred thousand Burrow Monsters surrounding the territory with thunderous momentum. The longer the delay, the more Burrow Monsters will converge from other areas, eventually trapping them within the territory, unable to deal with the regional Boss.

That would deviate from Zong Shen’s previous goals and the ultimate challenge’s significance.

The Communication Crystal quickly connected, with Korby’s deep and steady voice coming from the other end.

”Lord, please command!”

He had been on standby on the outskirts for a long time, and now finally received Zong Shen’s contact.

”Korby, lead the Wolf Cavalry to assist in clearing the Burrow Monsters around the territory.”

”Distribute all warriors into squads to activate the Sword Array Charge effect.”

”Remember, your task is to maneuver and output, avoid getting stuck or entangled, and protect each other if controlled by Ghostly Demoness’s Control Skills.”

”If you encounter danger, retreat immediately without hesitation.”

Zong Shen swiftly relayed his instructions to the Communication Crystal while walking to the territory’s north gate.

Korby decisively responded upon hearing the orders.

”Understood, Lord, I comprehend.”

He then directly disconnected the Communication Crystal.

Zong Shen had already reached the side of Wenresa, who was fervently attacking from the city wall.

”Everyone, do not conserve skills, increase output strength.”

”We must swiftly eliminate these Burrow Monsters!”

Everyone nodded, unleashing their skills, dramatically enhancing their output capabilities.

At this time, Zong Shen arrived at the front line, but instead of rushing into battle, he placed several [Healing Guards] to heal the front-line warriors’ injuries and restore their Life Value.

He also reminded the mages and front-line warriors not to hold back, except for the powerful Tier Four Summoning Skills; all other skills should be thrown against the Burrow Monster Swarm.

The two Sharp Claw Druids transformed into bears on the spot, becoming two Violent Bears over two meters high.

Zong Shen stood still, directly activating the [Gargoyle Ring] skill to summon two Ghouls, then activated the [Tiroka’s Bear Armor] skill to summon two Violent Bear Warriors. But that wasn’t all; Zong Shen also drew the [Dragon-Slaying Heavy Sword] to summon three Avalon Tier Four Strong Strike Swordsmen.

He directly created a wave of summoned army at the original site, with a wave of the hand, these summoned warriors charged towards where Favide’s Two-headed Hellhounds were wreaking havoc.

That area would be handled by the summoned army!

After some auxiliary actions, Zong Shen left the northern side of the territory, which was the densest monster zone yet also had the strongest defense forces.

Zong Shen walked along the empty space on the north side of the territory to the west side, similarly placing several [Healing Guards] to relieve the pressure on the warriors here. When the timing was right, he directly used the Communication Crystal, dialing number 9, the crystal number used within the [Heavy Combat Puppet] for Magic Energy Node transmission.

Once connected, energy from the Magic Energy Core began to transmit throughout the [Heavy Combat Puppet]’s body.

The five-meter tall Combat Puppet’s fully enclosed helmeted head flashed with a red light, resembling a waking Cyclops.

”Psst!”

Its mechanical joints emitted an array of pneumatic white smoke.

It began swinging iron fists at the surrounding Burrow Monsters!

With an Armor Value of 70 points, most Burrow Monsters could not break its defense.

Including Gargoyles, the heavy Rune Metal shell endowed it with strong anti-strike capability.

However, its Magic Energy resistance was only 45 points; currently, only the Ghostly Demoness and Burrow Heroes in the monster swarm could inflict limited damage on the [Heavy Combat Puppet].

The most crucial point was that it possessed a Passive Skill, Puppet Body, rendering it emotionless, unafraid of pain, and immune to Taunt, fear, intimidation, and most spirit or soul-based Control Skills.

This rendered the Ghostly Demoness’s most infamous control skill ”Occupied” ineffective, while the [Heavy Combat Mecha] roamed as if in an uninhabited realm, immune to the Burrow Monster’s attacks but capable of attacking them.

The [Heavy Combat Mecha] swung its heavy iron fists amidst the monster swarm, its huge mechanical body swaying and moving around, drawing considerable Damage Value from the monster swarm, enabling frontline warriors to output more calmly.

All the Lords defending the west side of the territory looked at Zong Shen with increasing admiration.

Previously, they had noticed the [Heavy Combat Puppet] positioned on the empty space outside the territory, considering it merely a special Defense Building. Now, with its might unleashed, attacking indiscriminately within the Burrow Monster Swarm, disrupting a small portion of Burrow Monsters single-handedly, they realized how sharp Zong Shen’s deployment was.

But Zong Shen didn’t linger in the west, merely conducting some auxiliary work here before heading south.

The southern side of the territory faced a Burrow Monster Swarm numbering around twenty thousand, the smallest in scale among those besieging the territory, and the direction with the weakest defense. Zong Shen’s primary target was here.

Defense forces in other directions were absolutely sufficient, and the strangulation speed was swift. Once those Burrow Zombies and Sharp-toothed Worms were mostly annihilated, the remaining clash would be between the Lords and Ghostly Demoness and Burrow Heroes.

When that time comes, it enters the true boiling point stage.

There will certainly be some casualties, with Zong Shen estimating about 10% fatalities. However, Zong Shen had already forewarned his warriors and Kobolds.

At any sign of trouble, they would respond cautiously, equipped strongly in terms of supplies and battle experience against Burrow Monster Swarms, with Zong Shen’s warriors holding a distinct advantage. Zong Shen’s requirements for his warriors were simple: ensure their own safety while fighting, avoiding battles without confidence and battles fought out of impulsiveness.

Because none of these are battles worth risking lives for, Zong Shen cherishes his warriors.

As they say, ”Better a friend than oneself,” Zong Shen was willing to exert more effort in combat, even providing support items, but would not let subordinates risk their lives.

When Zong Shen reached the southern side of the territory, nearly twenty minutes had passed since the regional Boss’s descent. Ground melee corps combined with long-range corps and protective construct defenses, rendering the battle relatively smooth, especially the [Giant Cannon Tower], enhancing the territory’s group attack capability by a fifth.

If this trend persists, in another ten to twenty minutes, the Burrow Monster Swarms around the territory can be completely cleared.

Combat rages on all four sides of the territory, with the three [Holy Light Towers] generally covering the territory’s outskirts. However, the healing capacity is evidently stretched thin.

On average, the total healing output is around 4800 points per minute, indeed leaning towards auxiliary effects.

It alleviates combat pressure, improves battle endurance, allowing frontline melee warriors to be more resilient. With a dozen or so Holy Light Towers, things would be different, maintaining an overall no-injury combat for warriors.

The southern side of the territory is staffed by approximately two hundred Lords, comprising one-sixth of the total support Lords across the territory, fairly weak among the four directions.

Zong Shen stood outside the southern territory, similarly placing several [Healing Guards] on the frontline.

Then quietly drew out his regularly equipped two Big Sabers.
