Global Lords: I Have Information System

Now both directions of the mountain paths in his territory have been enclosed with walls and road barriers. He currently commands a total of 47 warriors and 15 farmers.

Most of these warriors are Tier Two and Three Beast Race warriors and Giant Demon warriors, all of whom are tall, with rough features and strong bodies. The most distinct characteristics that set these orcs and giant demons apart from humans are their skin color and appearance. Orcs have light green skin, with simian-like facial features and two prominent canines pressing against their upper lip.

Giant demons, on the other hand, have light blue skin and stand over two meters tall. Their limbs are not as strong as those of the orcs, but they are considerably stronger than ordinary human warriors. Their main mode of attack is throwing long spears, with formidable power, making them a long-range troop type. However, when necessary, they can also engage in melee combat with their spears.

Besides the large numbers of orc warriors and giant demon warriors, there are also a few Beast Race shamans and some Tier Three Rodok skilled crossbowmen.

These shamans possess shamanism, comparable in tier to human mages, capable of summoning Poisonous Snake Guards and Ghost Wolves, as well as the powerful Soul Chain skill.

In fact, among Zong Ze’s command, one of the Beast Race shamans even possesses a Tier Four sorcery skill named Earthquake, which can cause continuous terrestrial vibrations, dealing damage to enemies within range and slowing down ground units while inflicting additional damage on buildings within the area.

This skill leans towards Earth Element magic, but in essence, it belongs to a type of Earth Magic.

Sorcery and magic are two different systems with some similarities but also significant differences.

The power of shamanic sorcerers comes from natural media. When they cast spells, besides requiring spiritual power, they also need mediums like insect gu, bone powder, some special mineral powder, poison, and such, which are usually relatively easy to obtain from nature.

They are categorized into different types based on their nature, including Earth Magic, Ocean Magic, Sky Magic, Natural Magic, Life Magic, Soul Magic, and many more.

On the other hand, the power used by mages relies more on their pure spiritual power to mobilize and arrange elements, unleashing various spells.

This is the difference between the two, and in actual combat, each has its strengths and weaknesses.

The specialty troops of Zong Ze’s area are the Orc Series and Giant Demon Series warriors, holding a status similar to the Wolf Cavalry in Zong Shen’s area.

It can be said that over eighty percent of Zong Ze’s soldiers are rough men, but the remaining less than twenty percent are the essence, such as the charming Water Mage girls and those Orc girls.

Rabbit Girls lean towards the assistant system, possessing some simple Natural Magic, with strength comparable to Tier Two Apprentice Mages amongst humans. Fox Girls, on the other hand, possess some trap-making and stealth talent, roughly equivalent to Tier Two Assassins.

Though the combat power of these Beast Girls is not considered strong, their appearance is very appealing, with alluring faces and figures complemented by fluffy beast ears and large tails. This combination is enough to drive all male creatures mad.

Zong Ze usually has them stay in the territory, assisting the territory’s logistic heroes and handling logistical supplies.

In his territory, there is only one hero. Zong Ze encountered a begging young refugee in the nearby Meisang Village while purchasing supplies a couple of days ago. Although only 14 years old, the individual was a Heroic Level talent with a Green Elite Level sense of potential. Thus, Zong Ze brought them back with some beef jerky.

After some persuasion and education from Zong Ze, the youth pledged loyalty and became the small logistics officer of the territory, responsible for handling some logistical chores, holding a status equivalent to Marie in Zong Shen’s territory.

A few days ago, after Zong Shen gave him ten thousand Mainland Continent Universal Dinars, the first thing Zong Ze did was purchase two or three dozen cows and thirty-plus goats, enclosing an impromptu mountain pasture with a fence, and also buying some basic living supplies.

Now his territory is well-stocked, not as outrageously rich as Zong Shen, but he is still considered a wealthy lord among lords.

His territory’s defense primarily consists of orc’s Armored Arrow Towers, characteristic to this area, supplemented by defense towers exchanged with points, mostly Tier Two and Tier Three arrow towers.

The blueprint exchange for Tier Two Defense Towers requires only 750 points, Tier Three needs 1650 points, while a Tier Four costs 3500 points. While Tier Four attributes are more robust and typically a one-time investment, eliminating the risk of obsolescence, the exchange price is evident.

Thus, Zong Ze opted for something more achievable, exchanging all for Tier Two and Tier Three Arrow Towers. Overall, his territory’s defense is quite formidable, consisting of four Tier One Armored Arrow Towers, four Tier Two Moon Blade Towers, four Tier Two Tower of Thunder, and two Tier Three Tower of Holy Light.

This exchange configuration is essentially a weakened version of Zong Shen’s setup.

As it’s said, the big guys play big, while the little guys have their ways. When poor, aim for precise strikes; when rich, aim for full coverage.

The two brothers’ approaches are essentially the same, merely differing slightly in sophistication.

Upon returning to the territory, Zong Ze immediately began adjusting the positions of the defense towers, reinforcing key areas of the territory with multiple layers of defense obstructions.

After hastening the farmers to step up the construction of defense facilities, he himself took out a dagger and headed towards the cliff on one side of the territory.

He had already excavated a tunnel here. Initially, Zong Ze’s purpose was merely to expand space and collect stones. Surprisingly, a few days ago, as the excavation continued over ten meters deep, the farmers discovered some walls made of Magic Pattern Stones.

Upon breaking through this wall, they entered a peculiar secret chamber inside the mountain.

This chamber is shrouded in mystery. Its six surfaces, all around, are made entirely of High-level Magic Pattern Stones, forming an almost seamless whole. If it hadn’t been for Zong Ze’s accidental excavation, this chamber would simply be a box made of Magic Pattern Stones.

There are no traces of passages or exits, as if it emerged from within the mountain.

The walls of Magic Pattern Stones are decorated with colorful murals. It is unclear how long this chamber has existed, but the murals’ colors remain vibrant. The patterns are abstract, depicted as colorful spheres within vast areas of gray. Some of these spheres are connected, some independent, and others linked by gray corridors.

Each time Zong Ze arrives here, he experiences a sense of spatial disarray prompted by the surrounding murals.

At the center of this chamber is a Magic Pattern Stone platform, above which a gray sphere, about the size of a fist, floats restlessly, appearing very lively.

However, a milky white barrier surrounds the outside of the platform.

This barrier oscillates unpredictably, sometimes clear, sometimes blurred, as if on the verge of shattering at any moment.

Zong Ze approached the platform, lifting his bandage-wrapped right hand to place it on the barrier, while using his left hand to unravel the bandage, revealing a freshly scabbed wound in his palm.

He observed the wound, then gently traced along it with the dagger in his left hand.

A damage indicator appeared, and he reopened the scab, allowing fresh blood to flow out.

Droplets dripped one by one onto the barrier, which absorbed them instantly, dimming the barrier with every drop.

After about a dozen drops, the barrier stopped absorbing the blood, with the last drop of blood sliding off its surface.

”Sigh... fed it again today.”

”It’s been several days now, and I still don’t know when this barrier will break open.”

Zong Ze shook his head, withdrawing his right hand and rewrapping the wound with the bandage.

He self-reflectively muttered in disappointment, clearly not having done this for the first time.
