Global Lords: I Have Information System

It was also the most chaotic moment of the entire situation, when two strong forces clash, one is bound to be hurt.

If handled well, this time could indeed yield great benefits.

For example, amidst the chaos, if a hundred farmers go missing, no one would really mind, right?

Of course, there are also those warriors from the expeditionary army and heretic army, which Zong Shen is very interested in.

Moreover, the Calamity Raven Church’s aim for the Demon’s Soul and Demon’s Blood this time.

Regarding Odu Village, Zong Shen already has a clear and complete plan in mind.

However, the specific implementation still needs to be decided based on the situation on the ground.

As the saying goes, fortune favors the bold; as long as this venture doesn’t fail, it’s hard for Zong Shen not to get rich.

The location of Odu Village is about thirty to forty kilometers west of Zong Shen’s territory.

It’s also more than thirty kilometers away from Trollop’s territory.

This distance isn’t too far; riding the Burden-Bearer Mecha will take about an hour, and riding a Grassland Horse at full speed will take no more than half an hour.

Zong Shen rode on Pigsy, leading at a steady pace in the front, while the unmounted warriors followed in the Burden-Bearer Mechas in the middle, and Wolf Cavalry Squad One followed at the back, erasing the tracks left by the Burden-Bearer Mecha’s treads. After all, this place isn’t far from Odu Village, so they can’t act as freely as elsewhere.

Moreover, the recent sunny weather means that the tracks left on the road won’t disappear for several days. While last time they could divert trouble elsewhere, if the Calamity Raven Church discovers them again this time, it won’t be so easily resolved.

Especially that Raven Saintess Shafuri; she is no ordinary person. She’s a true high-ranking member of the church with considerable abilities in all aspects and is herself a Mage who has mastered Frost Magic.

She serves as the true agent and powerhouse of the Calamity Raven Church’s action in Odu Village this time.

The Burrow Monsters along the way have indeed become much sparser, not sure where those Burrow Heroes have taken them.

Six or seven kilometers from Trollop’s territory, Zong Shen and his group discovered the second monster swarm.

Their numbers were large, even more than the swarm that besieged Trollop’s territory before.

Zong Shen just needed to glance, and the golden guide hints revealed the exact number of the swarm and marked the positions of the Ghostly Demoness and Burrow Hero.

The effect of the guide module’s assistance was simply invincible; this is why Zong Shen can always know the corresponding number and situation of the enemies he faces each time.

(Monster total: 5137

Burrow Zombies: 4109

Sharp-toothed Worms: 780

Gargoyles: 205

Ghostly Demonesses: 41

Burrow Hero: 1)

Looking at the data of the monster swarm in front of him, Zong Shen was confident. With a thought, he dispelled the golden hints.

The swarm ahead totals over 5,000, with a more compact command structure. Just one Burrow Hero has gathered such a large swarm.

This result aligns with Zong Shen’s previous predictions: as time passes, the Burrow Heroes will gather more and more Burrow Monster Swarms, and the number each individual Burrow Hero can Command will also increase.

With the passage of time, they will gradually gather those Burrow Monsters roaming around; all of this takes time.

Yesterday, the Burrow Heroes were just refreshed not long ago, and they hadn’t had much time to gather a sufficient number of Burrow Monster Swarms. This resulted in swarms of 2000 or 3000 often having two or three Burrow Heroes.

Judging from the refresh efficiency of the Burrow Monster Swarms, normally each Burrow Hero is expected to Command a swarm of four or five thousand, which is a normal level.

The swarm ahead falls within a reasonable development threshold; one Burrow Hero Commands a swarm exceeding five thousand.

Currently, the overall distribution of the Burrow Monster Swarms is still very uneven, which makes it difficult for Zong Shen’s previously conceived bait plan to be implemented, as the density of Burrow Monsters around his territory is indeed too sparse.

To be exaggerative, over the past five or six days, under his hunting efforts, these Burrow Monsters are almost becoming protected animals. Not to mention luring Burrow Heroes for large-scale hunts, even the most basic of Burrow Monster Swarms is becoming scarce.

In the first three days of the Burrow Challenge, Burrow Monsters were everywhere; Zong Shen only needed to leave one or two kilometers from the territory to discover a large number of roaming monsters.

But after these days of hunting depletion, the density of Burrow Monsters around the territory has dropped to a threshold. Now, the Burrow Monster Swarms he sees are almost all those that have wandered here, refreshed from other directions.

Therefore, Zong Shen naturally won’t miss this monster swarm in front of him. To him, the Burrow Monster Swarm is not a challenge but a benefit. Slaying them equals profit.

This vast open grassland nearby is very suitable for mobile assault.

They quickly arrived at a spot two to three hundred meters to the side of the swarm and stopped.

Zong Shen dismounted from Pigsy and instructed the warriors to get off the Burden-Bearer Mecha and begin tactical deployments.

He had Luna lead the Female Hunters to protect the Mages and Ranger Sisters. The Moon Blade’s range was only a few dozen meters, classified as a medium to short-range throwing attack. They could roam in the central area, providing output while also safeguarding the rear.

As for the Wolf Cavalry, in such terrain, there was no need to confront the Burrow Monster Swarm head-on. They just needed to maneuver around, starting from the edges for repeated assaults, leveraging the Giant Wolf’s mobility to strangulate the swarm unharmed.

Of course, considering the physical strength of the Giant Wolves and the warriors, as well as subsequent battles, Zong Shen instructed the Wolf Cavalry to return to the rear for rest every ten minutes.

This battle did not have any kill quantity requirements; they would kill as many as possible. Once the Burrow Monsters started advancing in full, they would retract and relocate as needed based on the situation at the rear.

Zong Shen quickly organized the battle plan; he himself sat in the driver’s seat of the Burden-Bearer Mecha.

After all was confirmed, Zong Shen started the Burden-Bearer Mecha. The swarm ahead had already noticed them and turned to surge towards them.

The Wolf Cavalry proactively launched an attack, charging toward the Burrow Monster Swarm. Their sabres emanated bright silver sword aura as the Giant Wolves carried them through the edges. Each warrior, upon contact, wielded their sabre just once, never entangling further.

Circuitously approaching the swarm from another direction, they continued to attack the edge Burrow Monsters using this method.

The Mages and Shooters in the rear did not move; they stayed in place making final preparations, awaiting the swarm to enter range. Luna led the Female Hunters to move as well, weaving between the swarm and the rear. Each approach to effective range saw them throw the Moon Blades.

The ejection effect of the Moon Blades was extremely effective against the Burrow Zombies and Sharp-toothed Worms, which were weak monsters, resulting in considerable total damage after each round of five ejections.

As for Zong Shen himself, he drove the Burden-Bearer Mecha directly toward the swarm, quickly crossing a distance of two or three hundred meters and crashing into the Burrow Monster Swarm.

The Burden-Bearer Mecha had powerful horsepower, rampaging through and crushing many Burrow Monsters. However, as it advanced twenty meters into the swarm, the overwhelming quantity began to hinder its progress.

Some of the zombies crushed underfoot got caught in the treads, slowing down the Burden-Bearer Mecha’s speed more and more. Zong Shen wasn’t worried; he began activating Demon Deterrence.

This caused the nearby swarm to start retreating, resulting in chaotic movement, and the zombies caught in the treads were gradually ground into minced meat as the treads moved, eventually exhausting their Life Value and dissolving into muck that seeped underground.

While activating Demon Deterrence, Zong Shen boldly drove the Burden-Bearer Mecha around the Burrow Monster Swarm. The nearby Burrow Monsters within a range of thirty to forty meters were all affected by the deterrence.

Currently, Zong Shen has a professional routine for dealing with these Burrow Monsters.

This is his unique hunting art!
