Global Lords: I Have Information System

The ruins cover a large area, but unfortunately, they are too close to the Goblin Tribe, making exploration extremely dangerous. After leading people there multiple times, only a small section of the ruins has been explored. This site is a temporary garrison point for the Azshara Alliance’s forces. Although it has long turned to ruins and thousands of years have passed, there are still many valuable items within.

Wang Xuan has not yet reached the core area of the ruins but has already opened two Black Iron Treasure Chests and an Ancient Bronze Treasure Chest, discovering a Rare Level Longbow, which is the one he now carries on his back.

If he had enough strength to defeat the Goblin Tribe next to the ruins, he could occupy the entire area, greatly enhancing his power. Wang Xuan’s developmental goals are mainly focused on that area of the ruins.

Of course, achieving the dream of thoroughly exploring those ruins will require a lot of effort.

This is because the Goblin Tribe nearby is quite powerful, with thousands of goblins occupying a large area in the mountains and forests.

Goblin Squads and Patrol Scouts are distributed across distances of ten to twenty kilometers. Their aggression is formidable; Wang Xuan has witnessed a territory in the mountains being discovered by the Goblin Tribe.

Soon after, several Goblin Squads attacked the territory. Except for the women, everyone else was killed on the spot, their limbs and heads hacked off and the bodies impaled on wooden sticks. The limbs and heads were strung together with hemp rope, and the goblins even started a bonfire to roast these limbs and heads over the fire.

They sprinkled seasonings on them and ate them as food, treating the roasted heads as treasures to be offered to the leading Goblin Shaman Wizard.

Those wizards tore open the charred scalp, revealing skulls with faint traces of red, and shook them wildly.

After shaking for a while, they used large stones at hand to slowly crack open one side of the skull, unveiling a brain that had been shaken into a pulp-like consistency.

The heads were still steaming, their facial features charred black yet still prominent.

The sight made Wang Xuan, a heartless person, shiver all over.

However, the Goblin Shaman Wizards treated this as a delicacy, devouring it greedily.

As if they were eating a bowl of silky tofu pudding.

After eating the brain matter, they started eating the eyes, ears, and cheek meat.

When the goblins finished their meal, the heads were stripped down to skeletons.

The remaining heads, limbs, and torsos would all be taken back to the tribe as their rations.

As for the women, although they were not killed for food, their fate was worse than death.

The green-skinned goblins would strip off their armor and belongings, bind them in a large X-shape with thick, wooden sticks, and begin brazenly assaulting them. Every goblin would take their turn before bringing them back to their territory, where filthy liquids flowed unchecked.

Upon returning with those bodies, they would also set the territory’s buildings ablaze, turning them to ashes. Their means were extremely cruel and barbaric; to the goblins, humans and other creatures were merely prey.

Since then, Wang Xuan has become extremely cautious, knowing that falling into the hands of such monsters would be a fate worse than death. These goblins are indeed a dominant power in the northern mountains.

Since arriving here, no less than dozens of Lords in the northern region have fallen to the goblins, each ending in a miserable state.

Wang Xuan, lost in thought, led his warriors north five or six kilometers before turning west, hoping for a stroke of luck along the way.

Since the appearance of the Burrow Hero, the distribution of the Burrow Monsters has become less scattered. They started grouping and wandering somewhere unknown, making it difficult to find scattered Burrow Monsters or small Burrow Monster Swarms.

After advancing another ten kilometers westward, Wang Xuan’s eyes lit up as he finally made a discovery. Ahead were two adjacent burrows, with no Burrow Heroes or large monster swarms lurking nearby. He could settle here and wait for them to respawn.

The number of monsters spawning from each burrow per wave isn’t much, and with his skill, he could handle it.

So Wang Xuan led the team toward these two burrows. Just as they arrived near them, before even settling in, a new situation arose.

Further west, two teams of tall cavalry approached on warhorses. These knights wore black heavy armor, donned helmets with black feather plumes, and even the warhorses were exceptionally large and armored.

The two teams of heavy cavalry came charging with an unmistakable intent; they were targeting him.

Wang Xuan hesitated, unable to figure out their origin, hurriedly taking the lead to flee.

Unfortunately, his Grassland Horse beneath him was unreliable; neither its size nor speed could match these heavy warhorses. After a chase of a few kilometers from west to east, the heavy cavalry surrounded Wang Xuan and his men, front and back.

The leader drew a Two-Handed Sword from their back and pointed it afar at Wang Xuan.

In a deep voice, they slowly said.

”You and your warriors are now our captives.”

”Surrender, serve the Church, and you will be treated well.”

”Resist, and you shall be killed without mercy!”

Wang Xuan looked around, assessing the situation on the scene. The opponent had two teams of Heavy Armor Knights, numbering twenty-four in total, and through the Lord System’s check, he knew these were Tier Four Soldiers, named Heretical Giant Power Knights.

Though the Lord System’s information wasn’t as detailed as the strategies improved by Zong Shen, it could still display some basic information.

Facing twenty-four Tier Four Heavy Armor Knights, Wang Xuan was no match. Even using some tools wouldn’t change the situation. Once a fight broke out, even if he could barely escape himself, his warriors might not survive.

He had seen in the [Regional Channel] that a village was occupied by a native force called the Calamity Raven Church. Now, seeing these two teams of heavy cavalry, everything became clear to him.
