Global Lords: I Have Information System

Clearly, that Lord has already encountered misfortune. As Zong Shen hurries over now, considering the time spent on the road, that monster swarm likely does not know where it has gone by now.

Moreover, about five kilometers further west from Odu Village, there is another monster swarm of unknown quantity, estimated to also be in the thousands, with reports coming in over an hour ago.

Zong Shen was checking the Regional Channel not to find the location of the Burrow Monsters but to observe and study the changes in monster density in the area.

To find the swarm’s location, he doesn’t need to go through such trouble; he only needs to ask the strategy prompt.

”Please tell me the location of the Burrow Monster swarms within a 10-kilometer range that exceed 5000 in quantity.”

Zong Shen asked the strategy prompt in his mind.

(Southwest 7.9 kilometers away there is a Burrow Monster swarm meeting the criteria, and 5.6 kilometers to the south there is another group that fits the description.)

In Zong Shen’s current location, there are only two Burrow Monster swarms that meet his requirements.

The Burrow Monsters have indeed become much more concentrated. Scattered swarms are hard to encounter, gathering into large groups roaming around, and thus their locations have become more random.

Whether to go to Odu Village first or to attack the Burrow Monster swarm is indeed a dilemma.

Zong Shen pondered for a moment and chose to attack the Burrow Monster swarm first. After all, he had obtained a Saintess’s token, allowing him to fearlessly face the Church Warriors’ inspections when heading to Odu Village, and he could enter it legitimately.

In contrast, it’s more urgent to seize the opportunity to kill more Burrow Monsters before noon.

After confirming his plan, Zong Shen promptly redirected towards the south, preparing to head to the Burrow Monster swarm located 5.6 kilometers away from him.

After some rushing and delays, it was already a bit past nine in the morning. If they hustle, Zong Shen and his team should still be on time to thoroughly deal with a wave by noon.

...

Meanwhile, over a thousand kilometers away from Odu Village, a squadron of 120 heavy cavalry was frantically advancing.

These heavy cavalry wore face-covering helmets with silver-white paint, with a spiral-shaped horn on the forehead resembling a dragon horn, painted in different colors by these riders.

The battle armor was also silver-white, with a badge of a Giant Dragon Roar on the left chest, representing Avalon’s Kingdom emblem.

The lead knight’s heavy armor was more luxurious; besides the badge, he wore two Bauhinia Flower ornaments on his chest. These were not actual flowers but ornaments crafted from purple crystal stone, seemingly representing a certain identity and status.

Behind this entire squadron of knights, several hundred kilometers away, was an infantry team of 636 people. Among them were 240 Tier Two Avalon Light Armor Swordsmen, 120 Tier Three Valon Dragon Descendant Shield Swordsmen, and 120 Valon Dragon-kin Rangers.

The remaining 36 were divided into three smaller teams: one team of Tier Four Avalon Strong Assault Knights, one team of Tier Four Avalon Dragon Language Mages, and one team of Tier Four Avalon Strong Strike Crossbowmen.

This was a fairly sizable Avalon Expeditionary Army, spread across 12 giant Earth Beast Vehicles. The massive Earth Beast vehicles were fifteen to sixteen meters long, dragging huge carriages behind them. Each vehicle could accommodate 55 warriors and carry some heavy military gear.

The Earth Beast had a gigantic physique, with robust and agile limbs, covered entirely by a layer of keratinized hard hide, possessing astonishing defense without armor on, and its full-speed running under a carrying state was comparable to a Grassland Horse, capable of sustaining the entire army’s march for three to four hours, followed by a need to rest and feed for an hour.

The Earth Beast was herbivorous, devouring anything from leaves to grass.

It’s a very practical marching beast.

On the Earth Beast Vehicles, there was also the emblem of the Alonwa Kingdom.

Indeed, these two groups before and behind were from the Lentax Giant City’s Expeditionary Army.

At this speed, the frontline heavy knights could arrive by early tomorrow morning.

Whereas the Earth Beast convoy in the rear would only arrive by noon tomorrow.

All of this was due to the vast expanse of this region, even under the dominion of a Giant City, with spans reaching four to five thousand kilometers, and some broader ones even stretching seven to eight thousand kilometers. One could say the area under a Giant City’s jurisdiction is comparable to over a third of Earth’s surface.

Such territorial size on Earth was nearly unimaginable; yet in this world, it’s a routine matter, conveying a sense of the enormity of the entire continent.

Those goblin merchants taking a full tour often required several years, and upon returning, they had to go to the nearest Giant City’s air port to board a large airship, completing months of air travel to return.

Of course, usually between Giant Cities, there are connected Space Magic Arrays, including some Flying Magical Beasts known for their speed that can be ridden.

However, under the jurisdiction of a Giant City, or from a Giant City to a Land of Alien Races, there is no Magic Array connection; one can only depart from the nearest Giant City.

Thus, the Lentates Giant City’s Expeditionary Army needs to trek such a long time to reach Odu Village.

At this moment, the knight at the forefront, adorned with two Bauhinia Flower ornaments, suddenly opened his palm and raised his right arm, making a gesture to halt.

Everyone reined their horses, advancing another forty or fifty meters before coming to a stop.

Then, from the cloud layers in the sky, twelve figures emerged, diving directly down and landing before the squadron of knights.

This was also a group of knights, composed of both men and women, wearing light gold armor and belted a light sword at the waist. However, they rode not horses, but rather large Dragon Eagle Beasts with golden feathers.

These Dragon Eagle Beasts had bodies like falcons, but their heads bore some golden scales, with physiques similar to Horned Eagle Beasts, accommodating two riders when squeezed.

They were a special aerial cavalry unit, Dragon Eagle Knights. Dragon Eagle Beasts could manipulate clouds to cover the ground, rendering defense buildings in their coverage ineffective. However, during cloud release, the Dragon Eagle Beast could not move and could only stay in place, making it extremely susceptible to attacks.

Moreover, Dragon Eagle Knights could cast an aerial shackle, binding an enemy unit in place, exceptionally effective against aerial units, causing them to lose body control and plummet instantly.

These Dragon Eagle Knights were not aligned with the Avalon lineage but were famed aerial cavalry species that any kingdom could recruit for a certain resource and cost, resembling neutral warriors, originating from a neutral city named Dragon Eagle’s Nest.

”Honorable Kunyel, why have we suddenly stopped?”

The leading lady knight among the Dragon Eagle Knights, with slightly wavy brown long hair, appeared valiant and spirited.

Hearing her, the knight named Kunyel, wearing two Bauhinia Flower ornaments, reached out to prop open the face helmet’s front cover, sliding it down to his brow.

Beneath the battle helmet was a middle-aged man in his forties or fifties, with slightly graying temples, but not much wrinkling on his face, only somewhat pronounced forehead lines.

His expression was very calm, with a line of brown mustache at his lips, exuding a stable and elegant demeanor, clearly a Lord nurtured in privilege and education.

Yet his brows and eyes were defined sharply, carrying a certain martial aura forged through iron and fire.

He was not only a Lord but also the captain of a Knight Order; this entire squadron of heavy cavalry was under his Command.
