Global Lords: I Have Information System

Zong Shen once again took out the Burden-Bearer Mecha. Those who needed to mount their rides did so, and those who needed to get on the mechas did so as well.

He himself mounted Pigsy, and within just a few minutes, everyone was fully prepared.

Zong Shen led the group towards the eastern range. To return to the territory in this direction, they needed to head slightly northeast.

With the appearance of the final challenge, Zong Shen lost interest in continuing to farm monsters, and his desire to visit Odu Village faded as well. Everything had to wait until the final challenge was over.

Shortly after Zong Shen led the team back, the Communication Crystal on his chest lit up, displaying the number 8, indicating a communication request from Crystal No. 8.

Zong Shen grabbed hold of the fur on the back of Pigsy’s neck to maintain full speed, while taking the Communication Crystal off his chest, choosing to answer it.

”Hello, Legion Commander...”

Jiang Yi’s voice came from the other end of the crystal.

”Does Vice Commander Jiang have something to discuss?”

One was the Legion Commander, the other the Deputy Legion Commander; the legion was the most important link between them, so referring to it as the legion was naturally the most appropriate here.

”Legion Commander, the location of the final challenge...”

Jiang Yi asked with some concern; in her eyes, Zong Shen was the strongest lord she had ever seen.

In the region, it’s almost impossible for anyone to have accumulated more Cave Points than him.

In Jiang Yi’s mind, his strength had surpassed all incidental events and factors.

She had every reason to believe that the final challenge location was near Zong Shen Territory.

”That’s right, the final challenge location is indeed near my territory. At that time, initiate legion support, let all the brothers in the legion come to aid. Attacking the final Boss will yield random rewards.”

”Moreover, having more people will reduce the defense pressure on my territory.”

Zong Shen stated bluntly. He still hoped for more support, as it’s unrealistic to single-handedly sweep all the Burrow Monsters and the final Boss in the area.

Especially since the Burrow Boss has a massive Life Value of 50 million points, with a fixed Armor Value and Magic Resistance of 80 points, clearly requiring lords to cooperate and deploy swarming tactics.

Otherwise, relying solely on Zong Shen and his warriors, it’s unlikely that they could deplete the 50 million Life Value even if the Boss stood still and they continued to attack for six hours straight.

Hearing this, Jiang Yi understood.

”I understand, Legion Commander. I will now notify each legion member.”

”All legion members within eight kilometers of your territory will have sufficient time to arrive in three hours.”

”Additionally, do you need me to announce your territory’s location in the Regional Channel in advance?”

”This way, perhaps everyone can prepare for support earlier.”

After hearing Jiang Yi’s words, Zong Shen immediately responded.

”No need to publicize it in the Regional Channel; they wouldn’t believe it anyway.”

”Moreover, even though the details of the final challenge have been announced, the pressure and challenge from the Burrow Monster Swarm have not ended. Only fifteen hours later, at three the next morning, will the monster swarm be drawn away, relieving the lords’ challenge pressure.”

”Saying it now would be in vain; it’s unnecessary, but we can indeed give a heads-up within the legion.”

”As long as we all cooperate well in this challenge, I think we can gain some benefits.”

There was a brief silence from Jiang Yi’s side, seemingly pondering Zong Shen’s words.

Seconds later, Jiang Yi’s voice came from the other end of the crystal.

”I understand, sir. I will mobilize all the legion members as much as possible.”

”And try to arrive at your territory before the Boss appears.”

Upon hearing Jiang Yi’s response, Zong Shen nodded silently.

”Very well, then I entrust the legion support issues to you.”

”Contact me if anything arises. I should get going. Goodbye.”

”Yes, sir, goodbye.”

The communication was quickly disconnected. Jiang Yi was indeed a very responsible Deputy Legion Commander. The iron and secret silver previously given were not in vain, as she had certainly been diligent and dedicated.

Since the legion was established, Zong Shen never had to worry, as Jiang Yi handled everything. He wasn’t even slightly worried about Jiang Yi having any thoughts of seizing power.

Firstly, there was the limitation of the [Legion] Rule; secondly, Zong Shen’s greatest reliance is his own strength, an asset that no one can take away.

With his hard-earned strength, he is the legion’s greatest background and reliance. Zong Shen, without the legion, would still be Zong Shen, but the legion without Zong Shen would truly fall into mediocrity; the development of the legion relies on Zong Shen’s strength as its solid guarantee.

After hanging up the crystal communication, Zong Shen focused on leading the team back to the territory.

...

Meanwhile, in the Kujite Empire to the west of the continent, within the mountains of the empire’s territory, in a sizable open basin.

In this area, in a territory that already had a tendency toward urbanization, Chen Rui stood outside the territory with his warriors, frowning.

”History has changed again...”

”The content of the final challenge has changed.”

”Who exactly is the butterfly inciting this storm?”

”Is it you, Zong Shen?”

Chen Rui murmured to himself. As a Reincarnator, his greatest fear was that the course of history would change.

This meant he would lose some advantages regarding the future, making it difficult to grasp its direction.

The alteration in the final challenge nullified some strategies he painstakingly prepared. In his previous life, the final challenge was entirely different, which is why he established his territory as an open one.

Since the Burrow Challenge began, although he wasn’t as terrifying as Zong Shen in harvesting more than 165,000 Points, he had accumulated almost 90,000 Points, sufficient to secure first place in the region.

Now he urgently needed to patch things up and set up more defenses outside the territory.

He faintly felt that Zong Shen, who had suddenly risen to first on the [Territory Leader Board], might be the butterfly altering the historical trajectory.

Thinking of this, he had already decided that after the challenge ended, he should find a way to contact the other party to gather information and news.

Living two lives, Chen Rui had an exceptionally strong psychological quality. He had decided that he must find a way to establish a relationship with Zong Shen, no matter what.

”All warriors, go to the logistics officer to collect pickaxes.”

”Have the logistics officer halt the farmer’s work, close the territory gates, and drive away the indigenous traveling merchants, preparing to focus on the challenge.”

”All members, go outside the territory to construct defenses...”

Chen Rui issued commands calmly and steadily; the urgent task was to enhance the territory’s defensive and shock-resistant capabilities.

Fortunately, Chen Rui’s development progress was exceptionally impressive, with numerous defense buildings in the territory.

As long as timely reinforcements to the defenses were made, completing the final challenge smoothly was not a problem.

The benefits gained from the final challenge depended on individual ability.

Not just Chen Rui; nearly all lords exploded into discussion upon seeing the final challenge announcement.

The [World Channel] was abuzz with the final challenge.

Of course, ordinary lords were mostly fascinated by the challenge.

But in every region, the elite top-level lords who were at the pinnacle of development were more uncomfortable.

Although the challenge is said to be for everyone, it essentially is a challenge to the strongest lord in the region.

The pressure they must bear is the greatest in the entire area.

The strongest remain strong, not just in power, but in enduring pressure.

The top lords in every region are real one-in-a-million champions, each with their own confidence and pride.

Now each of them is rolling up their sleeves, eagerly preparing for battle!

All are eager to gain the most benefits from this challenge!
