Global Lords: I Have Information System

Zong Shen’s current body attributes are very high, making him more sensitive to climate changes.

This afternoon’s temperature is indeed slightly lower than in previous days, though the difference isn’t large, it feels quite peculiar.

Standing there, a gentle breeze suddenly started to blow around him, moving from south to north. It wasn’t very strong, but it was continuous and caused the surrounding temperature to drop further.

Even the [Tiroka’s Bear Armor] on his body began to feel a bit chilly, as did the Silver Battle Helmet on his head.

Zong Shen listened to the ”whoosh” of the wind, taking off his right glove, and gently raising his hand to feel the wind speed and temperature with his palm.

The climate seemed to have changed; it was previously like early summer, and now it has reverted to a spring-like climate.

This climate change occurred within just these three or four afternoon hours.

In the morning, the weather was still as sunny as usual, but right after the announcement of the final challenge ended at noon, clouds began to appear in the sky. Since the wind started, this change has become more evident.

At the end of the newbie stage, there were also signs of weather changes.

But what is this sudden small drop in temperature and the overcast sky about?

Zong Shen seemed to have grasped some clues, formulating a bold guess. He started seeking an answer from the strategy tip to verify his conjecture.

”Is this climate change related to the next challenge?”

(Yes, Frosty Winter is coming, bringing ice and snow disaster. However, don’t worry; the real challenge won’t arrive so quickly. These are just some omens.)

The strategy tip gave Zong Shen the answer. The climate change is indeed related to the next challenge, and this time, due to the omens that have already appeared, the strategy tip can provide Zong Shen with a definitive answer.

”Frosty Winter...”

”Marie!”

In an instant, Zong Shen realized something and immediately called for Marie.

At this moment, Marie was nearby, overseeing and supervising the others in their labor.

Hearing Zong Shen’s call, she immediately rushed over.

”Master, what is it?”

Zong Shen looked at her with a very serious and earnest expression.

”Marie, go wake up Korby and have him lead Wolf Rider Squad One to escort you to Sitanos Village.”

”Additionally, bring along the Dragonized Spear and Shield Warriors Katis and Sorensen. They can both operate the Burden-Bearer Mecha. Have them each drive a Burden-Bearer Mecha with you.”

”Your task is twofold. First, you should recruit villagers inside the village. This opportunity comes only once a week, and right now, you can recruit.”

”The second task is to take enough dinars and have Master Mars assist you in purchasing a batch of supplies, primarily food and cold-resistant clothing. Purchase at least 500 sets.”

”If there aren’t enough cold-resistant clothes in the village, you need alternative items such as blankets, coats, and wool sweaters. Money is not an issue, the more the better.”

”As for food, follow the list from when I last went shopping, but double the amount. Also, buy large barrels of spirits, quality doesn’t matter, the higher the proof, the better.”

”Remember to return to the territory before nightfall, avoiding combat along the way as much as possible.”

”Besides, notify Wolf Rider Squad Two and Three to fetch water from the creek and fill up the water cellars right after completing the construction work.”

”For the others, after finishing the construction work and having dinner, rest immediately.”

Zong Shen frowned slightly, issuing instructions to Marie.

Although Sitanos Village didn’t plant cotton, they raised many cattle and sheep. Wool is an excellent cold-resistant material. Whether it’s a wool sweater or a wool coat, both have good cold resistance.

If there is intent to purchase, one should be able to acquire some.

Moreover, Zong Shen had previously obtained 9 sets of [Warm Fur Coat] and 10 [Magic Energy Heat Balls] from the goblin merchant Boswell. These were items brought back from the Northern Icefield and can now be put to use.

Zong Shen wasted no time, taking out two Burden-Bearer Mechas onto the open ground in front of him.

Marie, understanding the importance of the situation from Zong Shen’s tone, nodded seriously.

”Rest assured, Master, I will take care of it immediately.”

With that, she stored the Burden-Bearer Mechas in her storage grid and headed toward the inner territory.

Korby and Katis were resting, so she needed to wake them up in the residential area.

Meanwhile, Zong Shen opened the [Friends Channel] and began leaving messages for Zong Ze.

”Ah Ze, stock up on cold-resistant materials as soon as possible; the next challenge is likely related to the climate.”

”Stock up on clothing and food to prepare for possible upcoming challenges.”

Zong Shen said briefly. However, this time, Zong Ze did not reply immediately because he was undergoing modifications from Arcane Heart. After leaving the message, Zong Shen took out a Communication Crystal and contacted the Communication Crystal Number 8, which belonged to Jiang Yi.

Almost within seconds of dialing, the other party picked up, clearly showing how much importance Jiang Yi placed on Zong Shen’s message.

”Hello, please speak, Legion Commander.”

Jiang Yi’s voice came through from the other end of the crystal.

”Jiang Yi, did you notice the climate change in the area?”

”Start preparing cold-resistant supplies immediately; after the final challenge, the climate might undergo drastic changes.”

Zong Shen said urgently, knowing that if the next challenge was a global Frosty Winter, now would be the best time to stock up on cold-resistant supplies.

If they waited until the system announcement appeared to start preparing, it might be too late. By then, the unknown climate changes could significantly impact travel, and the relevant materials in the [Market] would inevitably see their prices skyrocket.

Upon hearing Zong Shen’s words, Jiang Yi was momentarily stunned and did not respond immediately.

However, Zong Shen heard urgent footsteps coming from the other end of the crystal.

”Whew... The weather indeed seems off.”

”This wind is strange too...”

”I understand, I’ll prepare immediately. Also, should I inform the legion members of this news?”

Jiang Yi seemed to have specifically gone outside to feel the weather. Although the climate change was somewhat abnormal, without a hint, ordinary people wouldn’t associate it with Frosty Winter arriving.

But with Zong Shen’s reminder, Jiang Yi quickly grasped the connection.

Hearing her request, Zong Shen hesitated slightly.

Currently, his [Guides Corps] had as many as 21 members, with Jiang Yi newly developing several members today.

If she disclosed this information to the legion members, it’s inevitable that they might spread it.

For example, relaying the message to their own friends or other regional friends.

Ultimately, it could lead to the information spreading widely.

Previously, when Zong Shen inquired about the strategy tip, he learned the challenge was dynamic.

If only a few people, including himself and Jiang Yi, knew, it should not be a big issue.

Once this information spreads, the situation could change, potentially altering the challenge.

Moreover, Zong Shen always felt nervous, knowing the Lord System maintains the order among the lords, essentially controlling everything, intending to guide the lords’ growth as per its agenda.

Zong Shen’s strategy system served as an advantage disrupting this balance.

If he used this advantage himself, it wouldn’t be a problem. However, if its influence expanded, Zong Shen might be detected by the Lord System, leading to unforeseeable consequences.

Realizing this, Zong Shen unconsciously shook his head.

”Don’t tell anyone!”

”Remember, do not tell anyone otherwise, we will be in big trouble!

”Don’t worry about others; I will support them with some cold-resistant supplies when the time comes.”

Zong Shen seriously emphasized repeatedly.
