The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

”That’s right, He Dian took her self-made medicinal dish and eagerly delivered it to the Cherry Courtyard!”

Fei Cui didn’t notice the abnormality of the Ma Family, continued speaking with a disdainful tone, ”She doesn’t even consider her own status, a poor girl from a rural background, what good things could she possibly make?”

”And who is the Second Young Madam? She’s a lady from Prince Dongchang’s Mansion, if she wants to eat medicinal dishes, she has Imperial Physicians from the palace to serve her!”

”... Haha, she hasn’t even eaten crabs and doesn’t know about food incompatibilities. The Imperial Doctor Chen even laughed at her for being a frog at the bottom of a well, yet she still has the nerve to make a fool of herself in front of the Second Young Madam.”

Truly embarrassing.

The more Fei Cui spoke, the angrier she became, although the one who acted inappropriately was He Dian, after all, she was the ”noble guest” of the third branch.

She lost face, which also made it unpleasant for the Third Young Madam!

Ah, I was just busy laughing at He Dian earlier, and forgot about this matter.

Thinking of this, Fei Cui immediately lost the mood for joking, adjusted her expression, and looked solemnly at the Ma Family: ”Third Young Madam, He Dian’s actions are too careless, she might implicate our third branch!”

”How about I go back and remind her? Just because she saved the Third Young Master doesn’t mean she can act recklessly in the Marquis Mansion!”

The Ma Family didn’t really care whether ”He Dian” made a fool of herself in the Marquis Mansion, nor did they care whether the Second Young Madam Wei would look down on her.

The Ma Family was only concerned about one thing, whether He Dian had met the woman who came with the dowry from the Wei family.

However, she still listened to Fei Cui’s words, ”Indeed, she should be reminded. The Marquis Mansion is not like their old home; it’s a place that values rules!”

”You, just leave it. No matter how low-born she is, she is still a benefactor of the third branch.”

Ma Family glanced at Fei Cui, not intending to despise their own slave, but rather speaking the truth.

”Let’s do it this way. I’ve already taken care of the matters in the village, we will return to the mansion this afternoon.”

Once back at the Marquis Mansion, she will properly ”remind” Lady He.

He Tiantian:... It doesn’t matter, my goal has been achieved anyway.

And it was exceeded beyond expectations.

Not only did He Tiantian meet a key character in the plot—Wei Yong’s House, but she also successfully had Lady Wei eat the medicinal dish she prepared.

As Fei Cui said, Lady Wei is a noble lady of the imperial family.

Although Prince Dongchang is merely the Emperor’s half brother and not highly valued, he is still a Prince with dignity.

Lady Wei, as the legitimate daughter of the Prince, grew up clothed in luxury.

She might not have been as fortunate as her eldest sister, who received the title of County Lord, but she was never treated poorly.

She might not have tasted all the rare delicacies in the world, but nothing was lacking.

Raised delicately in the boudoir, upon reaching adulthood, she married the scholar she admired.

Her husband is handsome and elegant, they live harmoniously together, deeply in love.

Her mother-in-law is not the type of evil mother-in-law who torments her daughter-in-law, and her sister-in-law and other sisters-in-law are easy to get along with.

Lady Wei lived into her thirties without enduring any hardship, and certainly no setbacks.

The only regret is that after more than a decade of marriage, she remains childless.

She’s not infertile; in the first three years of marriage, she conceived once but unfortunately miscarried at four months.

The Imperial Physician’s medical skills are superb; he saved her life, but her body weakened, rendering her unable to conceive again.

The Marquis Nanning’s Mansion is generous; perhaps it’s because they are not short of male heirs and considering the Prince’s Mansion’s reputation, the Marquis Mansion hasn’t forced Lady Wei to accept concubines for her husband.

Lady Wei herself had persisted for ten years and was finding it hard to continue, recently she’s been discussing with the Second Young Master Gu Jingcheng to choose a fertile concubine for him.

Gu Jingcheng verbally says ”it’s absurd,” but secretly he’s quite tempted.

He’s over thirty, yet childless, naturally feeling regretful.

However, his feelings for his wife are strong, knowing that she loves him deeply, he’s unwilling to harm their relationship for the sake of a child.

Initially, he thought about adopting a nephew from his elder or younger brother, so the couple would have someone to rely on.

But, an adopted child will never be as good as a biological one.

If possible, Gu Jingcheng would also like to find a woman with a clean family background and good health to bear a child or two for their second branch.

Lady Wei taking the initiative made Gu Jingcheng greatly relieved. He planned to decline once or twice to maintain his relationship with his wife, then agree following the flow.

At this juncture, He Tiantian came forward with a medicinal dish seeking audience.

He Tiantian clearly stated: ”Second Young Madam is a noble person and has certainly seen all sorts of good things.”
