The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

The sky has fallen?

The Ma Family sneered!

That may be true for the original owner, but for her, men like Gu Jingyuan are better off dead!

Yes, although the Ma Family is a wild writer, she also has basic principles and bottom lines.

The mistress is indeed shameful, but the scumbag is equally unforgivable.

If Gu Jingyuan lost his memory when he married He Dian, and he was confused, panicked, and didn’t know what to do other than choose a woman he trusted to live with,

that would be understandable.

But after Gu Jingyuan brought He Dian back to the Capital City, He Dian plotted everywhere, and the Ma Family kept retreating while his wife and children suffered greatly, yet he seemed not to notice.

He allowed He Dian to stir up trouble in the third branch, favored the concubine while suppressing the wife, neglected his children—a complete jerk!

The Ma Family would rather he die out there!

So, after she transmigrated, the Ma Family first devised a plan and then swiftly arranged a funeral for Gu Jingyuan.

Besides needing to create a situation and occupy the high ground in public opinion, from the bottom of her heart, the Ma Family truly despised such a scumbag.

Additionally, by holding a funeral for Gu Jingyuan, it serves as solace for the original owner, mourning her once deep affection.

”Fei Cui, how’s it going? What did Ah Xin say?”

Using the excuse of going to the washroom to groom herself, the Ma Family found her close maid, Fei Cui.

Fei Cui had just returned from outside and was looking to report to her mistress.

Seeing the Ma Family come to her, she didn’t dare delay and quickly said, ”Third Young Madam, Ah Xin said he found Housekeeper Ma—”

Before Fei Cui could finish, the Ma Family urgently asked, ”What did Ma Zhong say? Did he follow my instructions to trail Gu Jingyuan and them back?”

Fei Cui glanced around, worried that someone might overhear their conversation.

There was no helping it; if the people in the Marquis Mansion knew what they were discussing, the Third Young Madam would definitely have a hard time explaining, and she might be held accountable by the Marquis Mansion.

Ensuring no one was around, Fei Cui whispered, ”Housekeeper Ma indeed secretly followed behind the Third Young Master the whole time, but during the journey, the Third Young Master never shared a room with Lady He!”

”Moreover, when someone curiously inquired about their relationship, Lady He claimed they were siblings!”

Hearing this, Fei Cui couldn’t help but worry, ”Third Young Madam, have you misunderstood the Third Young Master?”

”He and Lady He seem to have nothing to do with each other. The person who secretly sent you messages must be slandering the Third Young Master!”

The Ma Family:... Who could have sent me secret messages?

She just had to come up with a lie to appease her confidants.

For planning, helpers were necessary.

The messenger girl, the managing steward... Although these people are her confidants, they have been with her for over a decade since she married into the Marquis Mansion.

To them, the Ma Family may be their sole master, but Third Gu, the son-in-law, isn’t an outsider either.

Without a sufficient reason, if the Ma Family suddenly tells her people that Third Gu is still alive, she doesn’t plan to bring him back immediately, and she orders people to secretly track him!

This... Haha, perhaps the servants would comply, but they’d surely have doubts in their hearts.

She isn’t the original owner; she is a writer, and if her actions and words cause suspicion among the novel’s other characters after entering this novel world, the world’s consciousness would notice the anomaly.

Then, it would exclude her from this Small World.

In short, if the character setting collapses, she will be directly thrown out.

As for continuing the script or reverse the sacrificial lamb, that would be even less likely.

The Ma Family must find an excuse for her ”transformation.”

So, she told her wet nurse and close maid —

”Some days ago, I received a letter from an unknown sender, saying he saw the Third Young Master in Shanyin County!”

”But the Third Young Master wasn’t alone; he had a wife, and the wife was the daughter of a rural hunter who saved him...”

Upon hearing this, the wet nurse and others were initially delighted but then became furious.

Then, the Ma Family added, ”The letter also stated that Lady He is a wickedly cunning vixen, coveting riches, and had ulterior motives while saving the Third Young Master.”

”She once secretly took the Jade Pendant carried by the Third Young Master to a pawnshop to inquire about the price, and at that time, Ma Zhong and others were searching extensively in the county. She couldn’t have not known.”

”But she still pretended to know nothing, continuing to deceive the Third Young Master!”

”I’m worried that such a calculating woman, once in the Capital City, would surely stir up trouble!”
