The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 451: Chapter 195: Scramble_3

But the related books were just there in the dormitory, and He Tiantian went to book stalls and other brick-and-mortar stores, buying them with cash, leaving hardly any trace behind.

Although there were few traces, such as security footage, they had been erased by the upgraded Student Xiao D.

Yes, after finishing the script for Mrs. Ma, Student Xiao D could finally upgrade.

It could not only serve as an assistant at the Dian Niang Book Library but also act as He Tiantian’s artificial intelligence in the real world.

Its technology outdid the world’s top hackers and could do so without leaving any trace.

With the help of Student Xiao D in cheating, He Tiantian could boldly bring out that information.

”...So that’s how it is!”

Professor Chen said so, but he still harbored some doubts in his heart.

However, that didn’t matter since the relevant departments would conduct an investigation later.

”Student He, your willingness to hand over the technology to the nation is commendable. However, I personally suggest that you should apply for a patent yourself, then grant the nation a free license to research and use it!”

If this had been decades ago, Professor Chen would certainly not have said this.

But now, in an era of openness and democracy, respecting intellectual property and protecting the legal interests of inventors is crucial.

The young girl’s zeal to repay her country is commendable.

But they, as adults, elders, should not deceive a minor.

Professor Chen carefully explained the importance of patent rights, as well as their various advantages and disadvantages, to He Tiantian.

He Tiantian felt very touched and thought for a moment before nodding, ”Alright, I’ll take your advice!”

She indeed had no intention of profiting from these technologies, but the ownership issue still needed to be clarified.

She was willing to contribute to the nation, and the nation would not infringe upon the people’s benefits.

Furthermore, once artificial intelligence began to proliferate, it would surely be applied in various fields.

If used by other commercial groups or countries, He Tiantian should still charge a reasonable patent fee!

”Alright, I’ll find someone to help you with it!”

Professor Chen believed that even those at the top would not take advantage of a young girl.

”Thank you, Professor Chen!”

He Tiantian stood up and respectfully bowed to Professor Chen.

Professor Chen waved his hand, smiling lovingly.

As an elder, what he most wished to see was young talents keeping up the pursuit.

He Tiantian, only seventeen or eighteen years old, had developed her own artificial intelligence, undoubtedly a national treasure that needed careful nurturing and protection to allow her to flourish.

Teacher Guo saw all this and his thoughts suddenly drifted to something.

After leaving the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Teacher Guo said goodbye to He Tiantian, then watched as she was escorted back to the hotel by two soldiers.

As he watched the group leave, Teacher Guo hurriedly took out his phone and called a good friend.

”Old Zhao, have you heard that Capital University is still having its winter camp this year?”

Teacher Guo got straight to the point as soon as the call was connected.

”What? Do you have a well-qualified, promising young relative?”

Old Zhao was on good terms with Teacher Guo, and hearing his words, he jestingly teased him.

The winter camp at Capital University was definitely one of the shortcuts for high school students to enter Capital University.

Every year, many exceptional children did their utmost to register.

But the places were limited, and the outstanding candidates too numerous, some of whom were from connected households.

Old Zhao was quite troubled.

But if a child was truly outstanding, and was a friend’s child, helping out a bit wouldn’t be too much of a problem.

”It’s not my child, nor any relative of mine!”

Teacher Guo replied earnestly, ”This child is really excellent, seventeen years old, in her second year of high school, proficient in English, French, German, and Spanish. A few colleagues and I want to recommend her to join the AIIC!”

Old Zhao was somewhat tempted, ”Wow, a young linguistic genius, indeed impressive!”

But it was just ”impressive” and not yet stunning.

After all, those who wanted to attend the Capital University winter camp usually had accomplishments in a specific field.

”It’s not just that, ah, I can’t discuss this due to confidentiality rules, but Old Zhao, let me put it this way, introducing this child to you is not about pulling strings but helping your university secure a real genius!”

Teacher Guo, sensing Old Zhao’s casual tone, couldn’t help getting a bit anxious and blurted it all out.

”What’s the matter, can’t you say?”

Old Zhao mumbled, but Teacher Guo’s mention of ”adhering to confidentiality rules” made him start to take it seriously.

”It’s a very important matter, enough to cause a technological storm... I can’t say more, but this child, He Tiantian, is really fantastic!”

Teacher Guo enthusiastically praised her.

Old Zhao feigned a casual tone, ”Alright, alright, I got it! Here’s what, I’ll send you a form, have that child fill it out...”
