The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 470: Chapter 202 Scum of Spy Literature (Part 6)

”Your wife’s matter?”

Sugawara Ichiro was very satisfied with his cheap nephew’s performance today, but some matters still required a clear conclusion.

As a devil, tolerating anti-Japanese activists was of course not an option.

He Tiantian hurriedly patted his chest and said, ”Uncle, my wife is just an ordinary housewife, quite caring, and often goes to the Orphanage to help.”

”She is just an ordinary Hua Country woman, she doesn’t even dare to kill a chicken, a good, law-abiding citizen, how could she be an anti-Japanese activist?”

After finishing this statement, He Tiantian deliberately showed a hesitant expression, weighing his words, and asked cautiously, ”Uncle, have I, have I offended someone?”

”In my daily conduct, I am indeed somewhat timid, but after all, I am a Japanese, and I have you as my uncle to support me.”

”But this time, without any proof, Lv Yaohua came directly to my house with people to arrest someone.”

”This Lv Yaohua, he acts quite arrogantly in the Shadow Organization, he is very respectful towards Captain Inukai Ken, but he shouldn’t be a brainless person.”

He Tiantian’s words were quite suggestive.

Indeed, upon hearing the name Inukai Ken, Sugawara Ichiro’s smiling face suddenly turned cold.

Inukai Ken was also a senior member of the Shadow Organization; however, he was a professional spy, rumored to be a student of Dohi.

Although his rank was one level lower than Sugawara Ichiro’s, thanks to his teacher’s connections, the Mechanism Director esteemed him highly.

Sugawara Ichiro was of military background, because he joined the Shadow Organization as a classmate and colleague of Mechanism Director Ying Zuo, becoming second only to Ying Zuo in terms of trust within the organization.

Sugawara Ichiro and Inukai Ken belonged to different factions, and their overall strengths were not much different.

In the Shadow Organization, due to power struggles and vested interests, the two had directly opposed each other.

Sugawara Ichiro was closer to the Constitutional Army, whereas Inukai Ken was more intimate with those Japan puppet spies.

It wasn’t to the extent of tearing each other’s faces off, but there were many under-the-table maneuvers.

It wasn’t impossible for Inukai Ken to use his underlings, the traitors, to cause trouble for Sugawara’s House.

Sugawara Ichiro himself had no issues, but Sugawara Kosuke was a pushover.

He was the one Sugawara Ichiro had pulled into the Shadow Organization; if Sugawara Kosuke were to be labeled an ”anti-Japanese”, Sugawara Ichiro would also be implicated!

Thinking of this, Sugawara Ichiro’s face grew even uglier, ”That Lv Yaohua, a spineless traitor who even betrays his own people, dares to plot against me!”

Sugawara Ichiro was very astute, even being misled by He Tiantian to suspect Inukai Ken, but in front of his cheap nephew, he did not speak ill of Inukai Ken.

Instead, he targeted Lv Yaohua!

”That’s exactly what I’m worried about!”

He Tiantian appeared as if he had guessed correctly, leaned forward, and whispered, ”The moment Lv Yaohua stepped in, I feared he wanted to slander me.”

”I am a nobody, even if he frames me it doesn’t matter. But uncle, you are different. You are the second in command of the Shadow Organization, immensely loyal to the Empire, with illustrious military achievements. If you were stained even slightly, it would be a desecration to you!”

He Tiantian knew the art of speaking well, snitching while not forgetting to flatter Sugawara Ichiro profusely.

She intentionally linked Sugawara Ichiro with ”Sugawara Kosuke”, yet honestly stated: We are not the same kind, you are a noble eagle soaring high, while I am nothing more than lowly grass on the ground.

But, no matter how different they were, they were both from Sugawara’s House.

If Sugawara Kosuke was trampled on, Sugawara Ichiro’s face would also look bad, and most importantly, he feared someone would take the opportunity to make trouble, forcing a label on Sugawara Ichiro’s head.

”He is just a dog we’ve raised, plotting against me, he is not qualified!”

Sugawara Ichiro snorted coldly, however, he still cast a sidelong glance at He Tiantian, ”Enough, don’t make rash speculations, this incident may just be a misunderstanding!”

He was no fool, how could he not see that his cheap nephew was deliberately fanning the flames?

He would reprimand Lv Yaohua, he could also stand up for ”Sugawara Kosuke”, but he could not let this little bastard think he was easily fooled.

He Tiantian deliberately showed an embarrassed expression and scratched his head, ”I just knew I couldn’t hide it from uncle, it’s all my fault for being incompetent, after being bullied, I still have to seek uncle’s help!”

Seeing He Tiantian obediently admit his mistakes, Sugawara Ichiro was very satisfied.

Humph, he was the fox that had lived for a thousand years, did Sugawara Kosuke, a little cub, dare to play tricks in front of him?

However, they were after all family, and since the cheap nephew had performed really well today, Sugawara Ichiro was in a great mood.
