The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 459: Chapter 198 Spy Warfare: Human Scum (Part 2)_2

The team leader with the slight mustache was named Lv Yaohua. His name sounded ambitious, yet he had become a despicable spy.

Originally a Central Intelligence Agent, he had switched sides immediately after being captured, becoming not only a shameful traitor but also helping the devils arrest anti-Japanese or progressive individuals aggressively.

Though he had not been with the Shadow Organization for very long, he had accomplished quite a bit. Even the Mechanism Director, Ying Zuo, had heard of him.

He was indeed a man ”Favored by the Emperor,” well-recognized in the operation team.

Normally, when encountering a useless Japanese person like Sugawara Kosuke, Lv Yaohua would not grovel. Instead, he managed to stand tall and flaunt his power.

However, once ”Sugawara Kosuke” actually showed his anger, his eyes coldly fixating as he fiercely cursed ”Idiot” at Lv Yaohua, Lv Yaohua momentarily lost his grasp of the situation, his arrogance instantly crushed.

He Tiantian shouted out that ”Idiot” merely as a test; she wanted to confirm whether this body she had time-traveled into was devilish.

Seeing the reaction of these thugs, He Tiantian secretly felt disgusted: damn it, it actually was a devil.

However, He Tiantian did not despair too much. Things were still unclear, and she wasn’t in a hurry to resist.

First, she would deal with the current situation and then carefully study the script.

If she was expected to behave like a devil and maintain some rotten persona, He Tiantian would rather forgo the points entirely than comply.

Why be a good person and act like a devil? Was she sick?!

Even in the world of novels, this was unacceptable!

”Rascal, can’t you understand what I’m saying?”

Now convinced that the body she had time-traveled into was devilish, He Tiantian found a way to intimidate the thugs.

She appeared infuriated and suddenly burst into Japanese at a critical moment.

He Tiantian was proficient in English, French, Spanish, and German. However, spending all her time in translation circles, she had occasionally learned some other foreign languages.

For example, she had picked up some basic dialogues in Japanese and Korean, languages widely used by Hua Country people.

Facing real Japanese, she might not perform well, but scaring a few lackeys was certainly not a problem.

She rattled off a bunch, leaving Lv Yaohua and others utterly confused.

Previously, they knew that Sugawara Kosuke was a Japanese and heard he was even a relative of Major Sugawara from the Shadow Organization.

However, the relation was distant, and Sugawara Kosuke had moved to the Northeast with his parents when he was young.

After his parents died, he was left alone and destitute. Coincidentally, at that time, Shanghai had fallen, and the devils had established the puppet Pseudo Government with the Shadow Organization.

A top official in the Shadow Organization happened to have the surname Sugawara.

Once Sugawara Kosuke learned of this, he immediately came running to Shanghai from the Northeast to seek refuge with his ”Uncle.”

Thanks to Major Sugawara, Sugawara Kosuke, a lazy and cowardly no-good, somehow also landed a proper job.

Though not particularly glorious, he was worry-free about food and clothing, having bought a house and even married a young and beautiful student.

However, Sugawara Kosuke was too inadequate, and perhaps because he had lived in the Northeast for too long, he didn’t speak Japanese very well.

Upon meeting Major Sugawara, he was trembling like a frightened quail.

Japanese people always admired strength and were exceptionally cold and cruel toward the weak.

Seeing such a disgraceful descendent, Major Sugawara truly wished he could have him commit suicide to cleanse the family’s honor.

But Sugawara Kosuke was an orphan, the only heir of their branch, and Major Sugawara felt somewhat sympathetic.

He reluctantly accepted this useless man on behalf of his cousin, offering him some help.

But it was just a little help; he didn’t regard him as a close blood relative.

Perhaps Sugawara Kosuke himself knew he was not favored by his uncle. After entering the Shadow Organization, he dared not claim the status of Major Sugawara’s nephew.

In his daily interactions with colleagues, he was always cautious, speaking and eating just like Hua Country people.

If not for his surname ”Sugawara” as a reminder, everyone might have mistaken him for an ordinary traitor.

But now, ”Sugawara Kosuke” let loose a torrent of Japanese, speaking a language nobody understood, inadvertently intimidating Lv Yaohua and the others.

Well, even the most pathetic Japanese person is still, well, freaking Japanese.

And in an enemy-occupied area, Japanese people are freaking privileged.

Even Lv Yaohua, who prided himself on his achieved merits among the devils, didn’t dare confront a Japanese person head-on!
