The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 474: Chapter 203 Scum of Spy Literature (Part 7)_2

After distributing the food, the middle-aged woman appeared to be reporting to Qu Anni, a philanthropist, on the orphanage’s situation, but in reality, she took her aside to discuss matters.

”Count me in too. My marksmanship is very good, and I have a gun in my possession!”

Qu Anni had undergone special training in the Guo Party’s Youth Training Class and was familiar with various firearms, poisons, and other assassination tools.

She was also quite skilled in combat.

”No! Anyone can, but you absolutely cannot!”

”Your identity is too important; we still need to use you to make contact with headquarters!”

The middle-aged woman flatly rejected Qu Anni’s eager offer.

Qu Anni thought about it and realized that was indeed the case.

Huo Miao’s side also needed her help to pass messages.

Ah, what a pity she couldn’t personally kill that despicable traitor.

Qu Anni felt somewhat regretful in her heart, while He Tiantian on this end was engaging in extortion and blackmail in a bullying manner.

”Seo Si, someone reported you for trafficking opium. Come on, follow me to Shadow Organization for a visit.”

After a few days of familiarity, He Tiantian had already gotten to grips with some of Shanghai’s notable figures.

Like who were die-hard traitors, who had connections with whom, and who protected whom...

Of course, she wouldn’t dare to provoke true bigwigs like ”Sugawara Kosuke” lightly.

But some second- and third-tier businessmen, insignificant gangs, collaborating with Japan, oppressing the common people... Yes, these kind of ”corrupt” businessmen need to be bullied a bit; doing any less would almost be a disservice to the devilish persona she was putting on.

He Tiantian then found a Green Gang leader, this man trafficked in opium, trafficked people and did all sorts of evil.

The most hateful thing was that he was actually a ”guide,” and a certain Guo Party special agent group had been wiped out because of his tipping off the enemy.

Although the Red Party and the Guo Party had been at odds for many years, it was now the time of the Anti-Japan War, a unified front of all citizens.

The Guo Party was also a steadfast force resisting the Japanese invaders.

The brave warriors behind enemy lines had not died in the process of completing their missions, but were betrayed by a local thug—

He Tiantian felt frustrated just thinking about it.

Damn, such a worthless scoundrel, utterly deserving of a beating.

However, before He Tiantian dealt with this Green Gang leader Seo Si, she intended to collect some interest first. .com

She snuck into the man’s warehouse, snapped some photos of his privately hoarded opium and guns, and then brazenly approached him.

After seeing the work ID that He Tiantian flicked before his eyes, Seo Si only caught a glimpse of words like Shadow Organization and Sugawara.

Of course, there was also some Japanese.

Seo Si didn’t understand Japanese, but he knew that these characters with only the radicals were the script of the Japanese people.

And this seemingly frail-looking Xiao Bai in front of him spoke Chinese with a certain stiffness, much like the accent of the Japanese when they spoke the language of Hua Country.

This was a Japanese!

And, and he even worked in the Shadow Organization!

Seo Si suddenly felt panicked.

”...Sir! There must be a misunderstanding!”

”I, I’m a good citizen, how could I be trafficking opium?”

”False accusation! Someone must be framing me, I, I’m just a little ruffian, scraping by on the streets!”

Seo Si quickly stuffed a roll of banknotes into He Tiantian’s hand.

He Tiantian casually pocketed the banknotes but didn’t let Seo Si off the hook and instead pulled out a stack of photos from her pocket.

”Misunderstanding? And a false accusation?”

”Then let me ask you, are these things not yours?”

Seo Si’s eyes widened as if they were about to pop out.

He stared intently at the photos, which showed boxes of opium, opium he was all too familiar with, having personally watched them being moved into the warehouse.

This devil!

How did he get these photos?

Seo Si knew that this matter probably wouldn’t end well.

But Seo Si also had backers, the police station, Shadow Organization action teams; he had patrons he ”honoured” regularly.

Seo Si wanted to know what this person’s background was and whether his own backing could intimidate him.

With that thought, Seo Si handed another handful of silver coins to He Tiantian, lowered his voice, and said, ”Sir, I, I’m just running errands for someone, Captain Lv from the Shadow Organization is my elder brother!”

Deliberately revealing his own support, Seo Si wanted to probe.

”Lu Yaohua? Hmph, my uncle is Major Sugawara!”

He Tiantian acted like a bully relying on the power of others, showing off the big shot behind her when the other side mentioned their backer.

Major Sugawara?!

Seo Si did not know Sugawara Ichiro, but he knew the military ranks of the Japanese.

To someone like him, a mere thug, a Junior Major was already an incredibly formidable officer.
