The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After deciding to take action, Misaka Mikoto quickly rushes in at a speed that even shocks Kuroko Shirai, who moves first. After improving her strength significantly with the chat group system, Misaka’s physical strength is much stronger than she originally had. After all, thanks to daily tasks, Misaka Mikoto actually runs 10km at a minimum every single day!

”Onee-sama, you ran so fast!!”

”Kuroko, let me handle them quickly!” Misaka yelled.

”Huh?”

...

Like Kaito earlier, Misaka naturally recognizes this part of the plot in her memory... which is the first episode of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun with herself starring as the protagonist.

Naturally, as the protagonist of the show, she wants to change a lot of things that happened in her memory for the better... like what happened to the Fantasy Beast Incident or Misaka Last Order. For example, in the memory, Kuroko would catch all 3 robbers by herself while the last one was driving a car, forcing Misaka to use Railgun to stop him. However, this act also destroys public properties on top of slightly injuring all passersby who were watching them closely.

Such things were unacceptable, so Misaka’s first goal was to make sure to prevent it from happening.

...

”Onee-sama?” Hearing her request, Kuroko was surprised and then warned, ”But you were not part of the discipline committee... And your power is too destructive!”

Misaka scoffed and said, ”I won’t destroy anything! I’m just going to test my new ability, and it will just end in seconds!”

”Huh?”

”Take a look at this!”

After saying that, Misaka then stretched her right hand and elementalized all of her fingers into elemental form. This creates a sophisticated 5 different controllable mini lightning currents that directly go to all the targets at light speed!

[Controlled Micro Railgun!]

*BZZZ*

With her improved calculation and control, Misaka easily reached all the targets in a nanosecond and then electrified them altogether by temporarily stopping all their bioelectromagnetic activity inside their body.

””AAAHHH?!!”” (4x)

Because of how small the current (yet deadly) is, the robbers who are affected instantly become unconscious. Misaka shuts down all of their nerves at the same time, paralyzes, and forces their bodies to shut down. So, unlike the original plot, where one of the robbers managed to get into car and attempted to crash into her, this time the robbers didn’t even realize what was happening.

”Wow...”

It was so fast and so effective that everyone who witnessed it was shocked. Especially Kuroko, who knew that such a small electrical current shouldn’t hurt much, yet she was proven wrong as Misaka quickly took down all the robbers instantly.

Current Misaka is just too powerful and rich in combat experience; it’s basically an overkill for her to take action against robbers.

”Onee-sama, you are amazing!” Kuroko exclaimed after seeing how easily Misaka handled them.

”Hmmph! It was nothing.” Misaka shrugged, feeling proud but pretending to feel nothing, ”Anyway, they were just unconscious for a few minutes at best, so let’s tie them altogether!”

Misaka turned around and asked Kaito, who followed behind her, ”Can you create a handcuff to use on them, Kaito?”

”Sure thing.” Kaito reacted positively, didn’t mind helping as long as he didn’t need to go shopping again, ”Normal one or the one that can suppress esper power?”

”The latter. One of the robbers has pyrokinesis power after all.” Misaka answered.

After getting confirmation, Kaito quickly created four ’anti-supernatural’ handcuffs—something he developed with Lala over the past month out of thin air. The metal handcuffs were made in pink (Lala’s inspiration), and how they work is that they constantly absorb energy from anyone caught in them, so they are not absolute like Imagine Breaker. Still, this item is rated as a 6* item because anyone who cannot release an output as strong as Misaka Mikoto’s normally in a single second can’t get free from it.

”So, this is the power of number 1. Creation ability... is truly deserved to be number 1.”

Watching the creation directly, and how the handcuff actually worked on the criminal (Kuroko can tell she can’t muster any energy when touching it), Kaito becomes Esper number 1, clearly deserved due to the versatility of his creation ability. Today, thanks to how fast information spreads in the Academy City, everyone already knows what Kaito is capable of (generally).

”I hate to admit that, but you only see the surface of what this guy can do.” Misaka snorted, ”Even I would get killed instantly if I went against him.”

”You don’t need to exaggerate things, Misaka. Besides, I won’t take unnecessary action unless I am provoked or someone I care get hurt.”

”Hopefully, no one is stupid enough to do that.”

...

Being one of the oldest members chat group, Misaka Mikoto knows very well how many abilities and hidden cards Kaito is hiding. A lot of them even do something she couldn’t react to, like time stop or causal targeting attack like Gungnir or Gae Bolg.

And there’s even soul manipulation with time perception... Misaka couldn’t help but pity any enemy that experiences such inhumane things.

However, what makes Kaito scarier is how fast his growth is. Initially, he was one of the weakest members, but now he has become an absolute powerhouse in the chat group in just a mere 3 years.

Being 5* strength being herself, Misaka knows how difficult it is to increase their strength, yet Kaito is currently underway to reach the planet destroyer realm in 7*. In a way, Misaka admit while Kaito was unlucky, he’s actually pretty lucky to become the chat group owner and grow up so quickly.

>>>>

After capturing all the troublesome robbers, Uiharu and Kuroko quickly brought them to Judgement, as they needed to provide a report about the situation as witnesses. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident since Misaka acted quickly, and no public property was damaged as she had hoped.

When the Discipline Committee learned what happened, they also couldn’t help but be shocked, just like Kuroko had been earlier. After all, they were often cleaning up Misaka’s messes, as she frequently hangs out with Kuroko and helps with accidents.

Due to her active participation, Misaka Mikoto also needs to follow Kuroko and Uiharu to report-- so their plan to go shopping together couldn’t work today (which Kaito is happy about). Naturally, Misaka didn’t mind cooperating with her friends and even expressed her idea to change the plot in the chat group.

Being the only one left, Saten Ruiko also decided to slip away, going to back to her apartment.

Hence, with the group basically disbanded, Kaito and Ravel decide to go nearby cafe to chill together for an afternoon snack and just have a mini date hanging out together. While on it, both Ravel and Kaito also accessed the chat group, making their supposed date look awkward from an outsider’s perspective (as both of them seemed to be staring at the air and occasionally chuckling on it).

=====

[Railgun Girl]: ”With my current strength... I want to change a lot of things! Now that the plot has started, I believe I have enough strength to handle everything! I am going to start with stopping the Fantasy Beast Incident as soon as possible!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”I wish you good luck. I also changed my own plot back then, and I can understand why you want to do it.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Indeed. My world has become much better thanks to everyone’s help.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Same here. Minaka has truly changed for the better and is actively improving our life these days.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Although there’s still death in SAO back then, the results are much better than what happened in the original!”

[SAO Administrator]: ”Indeed. In a way, we really did something remarkable back then.... everything possible thanks to the chat group.”

[Owner]: ”In the end, if you want to change it, just change it, and we will support you. After all, what’s the point of knowing the future if you don’t want to take advantage of it?”

...

In Kaito’s opinion, that’s literally what they have been doing since the first establishment of the chat group, and the system itself wanted them to help each other by changing their future for the better. Otherwise, there’s no reason for Kaito to want to get stronger and run through many different worlds just to help all the chat group members who need his help!

After this world, Kaito also planned to go back to the High School DxD world later on to change Ravel’s future directly and fulfill his promise to confront Sirzech. With his current strength, Kaito truly has the capital to fight him... and as long he manage to get into 7*, he even has the confidence to beat the transcendent demon king!

...

[Railgun Girl]: ”For once, I am 100% agreement with you, Kaito!”

[White Devil Secretary]: ”Agree. There’s nothing wrong about change the future for the better.”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Kaito-san, bring me here also to change my future.”

[Witch of the Void]: ”Now I know that Akatsuki Kojou’s fate later on during the excavation of the Fourth progenitor clone, there’s no way I would let that happen under my nose.”

[Slime King]: ”Although I am barely here, knowing my future, I do want to make it better!”

[Alien Princess]: ”Me too! I don’t want to go to Earth! It’s more comfortable to have fun in a different world!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Count me in! After knowing my future, there’s no way I would go back and let Megumin and Darkness join my party!”

[God Tongue]: ”Huh? Haven’t you gone back? They are your harem after all.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Not to mention, he ended up with Megumin in the original. Lolicon!”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Don’t forget about Iris, too!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”No way! I like mature women, and no way I would follow original future! @Owner, they bullied me again!”

...

Looking at how blatantly Kazuma was using him as his protector, Kaito couldn’t help but twitch his eyes while Ravel snickered in front of him. However, he also agreed with everyone’s idea for Kazuma to get his ’harem’ back. After all, the Konosuba crew wouldn’t be complete without Megumin and Darkness.

...

[Owner]: ”Calm down, Kazuma. You should try to go back and recruit useful people for the base world. After all, we need to get all the manpower we can use to build this world together.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”That’s not a bad idea. Wiz and Yunyun, for example, could help a lot by taking some management in the city.”

Looking at Aika’s comment, Kaito and Kazuma admit her idea does make sense. While Kazuma’s harem is dumb, most characters are quite helpful on their own. For example, Wiz can be considered a half-baked inventor when it comes to magic items, and there’s also Vanir.

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Is that so? How much you gonna pay me for it, boss?”

[Owner]: ”How about 10.000 points per person?”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Deal!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Damn, that’s a lot of money!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Even I couldn’t help butbe  envious.”

[Slime King]: ”A robbery in daylight!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Money grubber.”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”I don’t care! I am a poor member anyway, and the weakest new generation member! I want to get stronger!”

======

While in the middle of enjoying a hectic conversation in the chat group, Kaito was brought to reality by Ravel, who tugged her t-shirt to get his attention.

”Kaito-san, you are so kind to the new members, especially Kazuma.” Ravel curiously asked, ”But is it really okay to consume that many points?”

”Should be okay?” Kaito hesitantly answered and then added, ”Besides, as Aika said, I do think some people on Konosuba are worth bringing over.”

Kaito even thought that as long as they solved the demon king, the world would be saved to connect to the base world. Those adventurers in the Konosuba world are definitely interested in Aincrad when he decides to open the dungeon!

”By the way, Kaito-san...”

”Yeah?”

”Mmm... open your mouth.”

”Hmm?”

Looking at Ravel putting a spoonful of sundae ice cream in front of his face, Kaito can’t help but get stunned. Her entire face has become red, and the atmosphere between them is quite subtle. Slowly, Kaito’s heartbeat accelerated. He didn’t expect Ravel to be this bold in public... but Kaito wasn’t the same virgin a month ago.

”Ravel-san?”

”We are having a date... I want to try feed you.” Ravel muttered shyly, but her eyes told him that she was serious, ”Is it okay?”

”Yeah.... Feed me.”

There’s no reason for Kaito to refuse, so he quickly opens his mouth and accepts her offer. A sweet, milky yet cold cream invaded his mouth, his bud tasted overwhelmed by sweetness, which Kaito really enjoyed.

”Sweet,” Kaito muttered with a smile, ”Thank you, Ravel.”

”You like it?” Ravel looked at him with expectant eyes.

”I do.” Kaito nods and then replies, ”Especially when I stare at your cute face.”

”Mou, Kaito-san.”

Hearing his teasing, Ravel looked down, feeling shy, but her mouth curled up... clearly happy with Kaito’s praise.

”D-Do you want more?”

”Sure. Anything for you~.”

Kaito naturally will let Ravel do anything she wants to him, as he thinks it’s proof of her character growth. The old Ravel would be too shy to do this, and now he is genuinely happy for Ravel to take innitiative.

Also, anything besides ’shopping’... Kaito would gladly let Ravel feed him until the night as long as they don’t need to go shopping around and let him follow Ravel trying on so many clothes and stuff...

However, their sweet moment was cut short when Kaito recognized an important character just entered the same cafe a few minutes later and didn’t even try to hide the fact that she was looking for them.

A young teenager with blonde eyes and starry eyes, wearing a Tokiwadai uniform and long white sleeves covering both hands. Compared to Misaka Mikoto, she looks much more developed and even prettier than Railgun Girl at first glance.

Yes, for some reason, now Shokohou Misaki, rival of Misaka and another level 5 Esper, is walking toward them alone. Kaito is pretty sure no one in their group has approached her before, but it’s clear now that she was about to make contact with them.

Did Misaka make contact with her? Considering their rivalry and Misaka headon action, maybe Misaka find out about them being Misaka’s friends and is now curious about them.

This reminded him of what happened last night, when Kaito was dining with Touma, he was approached by Frenda. This made Kaito think maybe they shouldn’t try eating outside on their next date.

”Ravel-san, we have a guest right now,” Kaito said, ”Look there.”

”Hmm?” Ravel turned around, then her face quickly turned into a frown, ”Shokohou Misaki? Did you offend her, Kaito-san?”

Ravel recognizes Misaki easily, not only because she’s one of the prettiest characters in the memory, but also because she’s blonde like her. Everyone knows that Kaito often gets close to blonde and white-haired girls, so before going to the city, she has memorized the names and faces of every pretty blonde-haired/white-haired girl in the world.

”Uh, no...”

”K-Kaito-san? Can I report this to Aika-san? I can’t believe it, you still try to offend many women around you...”

”...”

Hearing Ravel mumbling, Kaito became speechless and facepalmed for real.

He didn’t expect that even the innocent one, like Ravel, didn’t trust him anymore, and thinking he was truly a scumbag, he offended many women around him!

But considering his history... Kaito admits he really can’t defend himself... which is a tragedy in itself. At this point, Kaito can only cope and blame his bad luck for forcing him to accept this kind of situation.

And to make it worse, Misaki, who happened to hear their conversation, arrived at their table, then quickly made a remark that made his situation even worse, ”Ara~ I do have interest in the new number 1 who gets along with Misaka-san.”

”If Kaito-san can help me, I don’t mind if you want to play with me.”

”...”

Hearing such a shocking statement, not only Ravel, but also the rest of the customers and staff of the cafe now pay attention to him.

Kaito, who often gets into this kind of situation, only stares at Misaki and states, ”You really make a lot of trouble at first meeting, MENTAL OUT.”

”Sit down. Clean up the mess around, and we are willing to talk with you.”

”Okay!”

With her ability of mental control, it should be easy for her to manipulate the memories of normal people (customers) around and even redirect their attention to them. Although he’s unhappy about what he did, Kaito is still willing to listen to this girl since he’s also curious why Misaki dared to meet them.
