The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Seeing the group chat suddenly infiltrated by not just three but six new members, Kaito and the other members were shocked. The problem was that they weren’t happy about the new members (and the world they could connect to), but the chat group system literally did this without warning.

=====

[God Tongue]: ”This announcement... new members?!”

[Root Princess]: ”So, this is how most of the members here joined the chat group. Interesting.”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”More friends!”

[Owner]: ”And more family members!”

[Caped Baldy]: ”New members mean a new world to explore. I am quite excited.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”I didn’t expect the chat group to do this out of surprise. I mean, it did make sense, back then, each time we got our chat group level increase, we also got a new member.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”But there are so many members! 4 of them, now our chat group members size increases to whooping 25 members!”

[Owner]: ”Compared to 5 members in the original, we have come so far.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Indeed! What kind of new members do we have?”

[Owner]: ”From the name, I could figure out some, but I am not 100% until they are talking here...”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Test... this chat group... is this my real golden finger?!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Does it mean I was about to take off? I know that goddess was not my real cheat!”

[Owner]: ”???”

[Caped Baldy]: ”???”

[Railgun Girl]: ”???”

[God Tongue]: ”???”

[Railgun Girl]: ”???”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”What’s wrong? Did I do something wrong? Oi?”

...

Seeing the transparent screen that suddenly appeared in front of him, Sato Kazuma laughed cheerfully inside the stable where he temporarily stayed overnight. He’s just an ordinary young man with slightly messy chestnut-brown hair and green eyes, dressed in a green tracksuit, who had just been reincarnated into another world three days ago.

As a knowledgeable otaku, he had read isekai and fanfiction stories about chat groups, aware of their nature and believing he would have an easier time to live in from now on. Compared to the useless goddess ”Aqua” Kazuma had encountered, a drunk and incapable of anything, the chat group clearly held more promise and power!

In time, Kazuma believed that by relying on the help of the other members in the chat group, he would slowly become the strongest with the resources he could obtain from the other world... and soon, Kazuma would be able to complete his mission of defeating the demon king, gather a harem, and return to his home world!

...

”Kazuma, what are you doing at midnight, laughing maniacally?”

Thanks to Kazuma laughing, he wakes up Aqua, the goddess he kidnapped, who sleeps beside him on a haystack in the stable.

”Shut up, you useless goddess, fake cheat! My real cheat has arrived!” Kazuma arrogantly yell at her.

”What are you talking about? Did you get sick from working too much?”

”Go back to sleep! From now on, I don’t need you anymore to defeat the demon king!”

...!!!

”Ahhh! You call me useless again! You bastard!”

Hearing his insult, Aqua immediately got mad and pulled Kazuma’s neck in anger and complained as she ”shook” him around.

”If not because you bring me here, I would still enjoy my life as a goddess in the divine realm!”

”Stop! Stop! Time out!!”

Kazuma, whose stats are really weak compared to goddess Aqua, literally suffocated at the moment, desperately asking for help in the chat group.

...

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Help everyone! The goddess I brought wants to kill me!”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”???”

[Necromancer]: ”???”

[God Tongue]: ”???”

[Owner]: ”Pfffft!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”This newcomer is really, truly abstract.”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”But I have figured out the new member we got.”

[Owner]: ”Coincidentally, me too.”

In the past, Kaito shared a lot of memories of another world when everyone was doing the SAO group task for 2 years, and one of those ’memories’ happened to be Konosuba. In fact, Konosuba’s show was quite popular among chat group members due to how funny the cast in it is, so it’s natural they could easily recognize the one who’s currently talking just by how he communicates and brought a goddess with him!

Almost everyone recognized him, with a few exceptions like Manaka, who had just joined, and Kayaba, who didn’t watch a lot of memory in the first place.

Kazuma is also the only main character who would call himself a Gender Equality Advocate/Hero, and wouldn’t hesitate to drop-kick a woman (mainly Aqua and Darkness, though). However, to make sure he didn’t get it wrong, Kaito got an idea of how to check it directly.

...

[Owner]: ”Ano, newbie. We don’t know what happened to you, but you can show us by activating the broadcast function on the chat group.”

[Root Princess]: ”Indeed. In that way, we could see what’s going on with you, newbie.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”That’s true!”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”Indeed. We can’t help if we didn’t see what’s going on with you.”

...

”B-Broadcast?”

Still desperately holding his life from getting murdered by Aqua, Kazuma quickly finds the broadcast function, and soon enough, everyone in the chat group quickly joins.

[Gender Equality Advocate has started the Broadcast]

[Owner has joined the broadcast...]

[Railgun Girl has joined the broadcast...]

...

The moment chat group members see what happened in the broadcast, everyone witnesses Aqua currently choking and shaking Kazuma’s neck at the same time, while Kazuma’s face is getting pale as he is about to be suffocated to death.

...!!!

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”C-Can you guys see me now?! Now help me!”

However, instead of trying to help, everyone who is watching can’t help but laugh, even the stoic Itachi bursts out! It can’t be helped because what they witnessed right now is pretty funny. They saw that Kazuma is currently being choked by Aqua in anger, as she continues blaming him for bringing her down to another world!

[God Tongue]: ”Pffft!”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Pffft!”

[Owner]: ”Hahahaha!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”As expected, he is Satou Kazuma from Konosuba!”

[Necromancer]: ”It is confirmed! 100%”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”You guys know me? That’s not important! Help me!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”I am dying... I am dying! HELP!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”How could I die while my cheat is finally awake... damn it!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”I was destined to be a hero! Not to die on my own cheat!”

...

Although Kazuma was shocked that these people knew him, he didn’t care that much because he was currently fighting for his life! Fortunately for him, although Kazuma could be resurrected again by Aqua herself, letting him die won’t make the chat group look good for other new members, so Kaito knows he needs to do something.

[Owner]: ”Newbie, I will send you some points, and you can ask the system to put that goddess to sleep.”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Eh, I can do that?! Thank you!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”That’s quite generous for you, Kaito.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Indeed.”

[Owner]: ”It’s okay, it’s not that much anyway.”

Kaito quickly sent Kazuma 5.000 chat group points, which is enough to let Aqua go back to sleep according to the system. Although 5.000 points is quite a lot for a newbie, for 2 months, Kaito has already saved a million points just because of his ”Salted Fish Earner” privilege alone. Hence would be embarrassing if Kaito wanted his point back from new members, especially since his privilege would earn those 5.000 back in no time.

Indirectly, this is also going to teach new members what a chat group can do and how important points in the chat group, which basically could become an ”omnipotent” cheat for every member!

...

=====

[Received 5.000 points from [Owner]]

=====

After receiving points from Kaito, Kazuma immediately used the points on the system, requesting to knock out Aqua back to sleep. The moment the points got consumed by the system, Aqua suddenly released his neck and fell asleep immediately, as if she was affected by a hypnosis app in those sketchy doujin plot!

...!!!

”It works! I was able to save my life!”

To say Kazuma was shocked is an understatement, because he was aware that Aqua identified as a god, yet it worked on her without any issue. This means his newest ’cheat’ is much superior to anything any god in the divine realm could provide!

What Kazuma didn’t know was that Aqua was just too weak, so the system could influence her easily; otherwise, trying to do the same with an actual god would cost him millions of points at minimum!

...

”Muehehehe! This is really good stuff!”

This makes Kazuma very excited and gives him some perverted idea of what he could do in this world with this ”cheat”. Unfortunately, at the moment, Kazuma forgot he was currently broadcasting to everyone in the chat group, and everyone could easily read his thoughts just from his perverted expression.

=====

[Railgun Girl]: ”Ah... This guy’s expression, he must think something perverted!”

[God Tongue]: ”I agree.”

[Necromancer]: ”Definitely.”

[Sekirei Number 3]: ”He is a pervert after all.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”I feel his head full of something dirty right now.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”I really want to knock off his face, I hate pervert!”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Let’s kick this guy away from the chat group, Kaito.”

[Root Princess]: ”I still don’t know who this guy is, but I can feel it; He is dangerous for any woman in the chat group.”

[God Tongue]: ”@Owner, We don’t need a pervert in this group... Let’s kick him.”

[Owner]: ”Pffft.... calm down, let’s give him a chance.”

Looking at the reaction of disgust coming from the woman in the chat group, Kaito couldn’t help but chuckle while also admiring him at the same time. As expected of Kazuma, his first impression immediately offended all the women in the chat group within 10 minutes of joining... which had never been done before by anyone else.

...

[Owner]: ”@Gender Equality Hero, congratulations, you just made every woman in the chat group feel disgusted, and they requested me to kick you out. Anything you want to say?”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Eh?”

Getting pinged by Kaito, Kazuma immediately woke from his fantasy-- only to see the chat group almost wanted to kick him. Kazuma then realizes what happened; he’s currently under broadcast... and everyone must have been seeing his perverted expression while he was imagining a lot of lewd stuff!

Immediately, Kazuma prostrated on the ground, even though there was no one basically watching him right now in the vicinity.

...

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Ehh!! I am sorry, everyone, please don’t kick me from the chat group! I am a good person, I promise you all!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Doubt it.”

[God Tongue]: ”We know you, you leecher.”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”No, I won’t! Please, at least give me a chance to prove myself!”

[Owner]: ”Deal. I won’t kick you from the chat group, but you must promise everyone that you won’t use the points to do something perverted, otherwise I will definitely kick you away!”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Yes, boss! I promise to behave!”

[Owner]: ”That’s good. I don’t really want to kick you from the chat group. Welcome to the chat group, by the way.”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Thank you, boss!”

Although Kazuma has a perverted personality, for Kaito, the goddess Aqua beside him is too precious and too useful to ignore. Kaito knows that with her ability, they don’t have to worry about needing to pay points to resurrect anyone who just died!

On top of that, Aqua was really easy to persuade. With her personality, they might just need to give her the best quality wine, and she would resurrect anyone we want for free!

...

[Railgun Girl]: ”Why?! I feel danger just because he is now part of our group! He is too dangerous!”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”I agree! We need to make sure this guy won’t do something to anyone here!”

[Owner]: ”Give him a chance, girl. In any case, this guy is still a good person; he is just a bit perverted.”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Boss is right! I swore I would behave in the chat group!”

Kazuma didn’t expect Kaito would defend him this far, and he was thankful for that. Although Kazuma was not really smart, he is not a fool; from the nickname [Owner] in the chat group alone, Kaito is definitely the leader of this chat group and probably even the strongest member.

As long as he hugged the thighs of the boss, Kazuma was sure his position would be safe in the chat group!

...

[Railgun Girl]: ”Alright. I will complain to you if he behaves like a scumbag, Kaito!”

[Owner]: ”Don’t worry, I will personally punish him if he tries to do something weird in the chat group. You can mark my word.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Although his behavior is disgusting, don’t forget that Satou Kazuma’s cheat would be a very valuable asset for us.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”With her, we can revive anyone we want without relying on to chat group system. What do you guys think?”

...!!!

Although all the members were shocked by Aika’s sudden appearance in the chat group, they were even more shocked and realized what she said. Although Aqua was incredibly stupid, her ability to revive the dead was truly something everyone needed, especially since many members in the group chat wanted to do so.

A lot of examples were Itachi, who wanted to resurrect the entire Uchiha clan he had massacred, Misaka, who wanted to revive all the sisters killed by Accelerator, Uta, who killed all the inhabitants of Elegia Island due to his foolishness in resurrecting Tot Musica, and Nico Robin, who wanted to revive the scientists and historians of Ohara.

The number of people who wanted to be revived was quite big... and it would obviously require a large amount of points if they wanted to revive everyone solely through the chat group system.

With Aqua’s ability to resurrect the dead easily, they could achieve their goal much faster without relying on the group chat. This was naturally something none of the chat group members could refuse, even if that meant they needed to have a pervert and an idiot in the chat group.

And just like that, with a single sentence of persuasion from Aika, the vice leader of the chat group, the whole chat group quickly became convinced, and they daredn’t complain anymore about Kazuma’s presence. Even Misaka and Erina, the most vocal ones against him, admit they really need Aqua ability to resurrect people.

With the task that the chat group system gave to them recently, there’s no doubt that the task would get more difficult in the future, and none of them had confidence that everyone would be safe and not get killed.
