The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

”We are screwed... all of those groups of superhumans escaped!”

When the Tokyo government officials saw the chat group members on their screens seeming to be aware of their nuclear bombs and fleeing the battlefield, they all became very panicked! A few of them even seem to be teleported away, which shows there’s no way to let the bomb hit them if they were capable of moving in space.

At this moment, all of them realized that they had made a very wrong decision...!

While previously they didn’t know whether the group would be hostile toward them, now all the Tokyo Area official government is 100% sure they have offended them!

...!!!

”Fuck!”

”We are doomed.”

”I don’t want to die!”

...

Immediately, many of those officials decided to escape from the room, the building, and even plan to flee from the Tokyo Area... because it was a no-brainer that Kaito and his friends would take revenge on them!

No one would like getting nuked after all.

Not to mention, their main target, the bald man, and Scorpion seem to be unscathed after getting nuked directly, which means there’s no future for the Tokyo Area, whichever side won the war!

”...We made the wrong choice, Tendo-san. What should we do?” Seitenshi asked him anxiously.

”Yes... And I will stay here to talk with them, Seitenshi-sama.”

”...”

Only two people are left in the room right now. One of them is Tendo Kikunojo, who knows there’s no use running away from the group members and thinks about how to make them work for him. And another one is Seitenshi, who felt deep regret and sadness, as she could prevent this from happening, yet no one listened to her.

Now that everything has already happened, Seitenshi wonders how she could persuade the Kaito group to forgive them and leave the Tokyo Area alone.

At least, Seitenshi hopes Kaito will let the innocent civilians live, even if it means she will be killed by him.

At the same time, after the nuclear explosion in Iwaki, Kaito, the chat group members, and several people they saved from the area saw from a distance (on top of modified Kouten, the flying island and technology labs summoned by Kayaba) how powerful the nuclear explosion was that leveled the entire land. Everything in the area is destroyed, reduced to atom, including all Gastrea creature who failed to escape the area and any building ruin get evaporated due to intense heat produced by combination of 3 nuclear bombs.

It is undeniable that all the chat group members currently feel very angry, furious towards the Tokyo Area.

Even Ravel and little Nanoha, who are not usually angry, also feel the same thanks to their action wanted to harm their friends.

Only Hiruko seems to be acting like usual and calm, but he’s not a chat group member, and he has nothing to worry about. His daughter was in the base with Midori Fuse and other cursed children, as none of them participated in this ’war’.

However, even though chat group members were angry, they all decided not to let emotion ruin their action. Aika reminded them that collecting Est’s soul fragment was the main mission, and no one was allowed to leave before Est’s soul fragment was retrieved from Scorpion.

Hence, at this moment, they were just waiting for Saitama to defeat Scorpion, who was already starting to get overwhelmed by him because Saitama was growing faster than her!

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

...!!!

The fight between Saitama and Scorpion is now very intense as both are constantly moving at speeds much faster than light, and each of their attack alone can cause destruction more than any nuclear bomb in this world is capable of.

Fortunately, Saitama knocked Scorpion far into the Pacific Ocean area, far from Japan, to make sure she won’t affect Japan directly or any country on this planet-- but it is undeniable that after this fight is over, the Pacific Ocean ecosystem is destroyed due to the brutality of their fight. There are also countless mini tsunamis generated thanks to it, and their fight indirectly destroyed anything that living near the coast.

Thanks to multiple Est soul fragments’ presence in Scorpion, it manages to strengthen Scorpion to keep up with Saitama, but unfortunately, Saitama’s growth is exponentially faster, and something that the mere leftover curse could not fight.

It’s clear that Saitama-sensei is going to win soon-- and the chat group just needs to wait for it.

...

”Both Saitama-sensei and that Gastrea creature have already moved beyond the speed of light... amazing.” (Misaka)

”From this fight, Saitama-sensei might be the first chat group member who gets into 7* territory.” (Kaito)

...

Kaito admits that, despite being one of the strongest in the chat group right now, he would be useless in a fight against Scorpion, which seems to have access to ’unlimited energy’ to regenerate itself in less than 0.1 seconds for such a body size. Kaito also doesn’t have good ’durability’ to endure nuclear explosion-level attack, too-- so even if he wanted to help, Kaito knew he couldn’t.

His only chance to win would be hax with him using Imagine Breaker and some of hax like soul attack-- but Kaito doubts Scorpion would stand still and let his attack reach her. She’s also extremely fast after all, with Kaito’s maximum speed only at supersonic.

Kaito’s only hope is that Saitama is able to finish Scorpion quickly, as the longer the fight goes, the more work the chat group needs to do to recover all the destruction caused by their fight.

>>>>>

As Kaito watched the battle between Saitama and Scorpion intently, Rentaro-- whom Kaito personally saved alongside Kisara and Enju regained his consciousness.

Out of thousands of military personnel, promoters, and initiators, only a dozen people survived the disaster, but even all of them were severely injured. Of course, Ravel and Kaito had treated their wounds, but none of them had regained consciousness-- until Rentaro opened his eyes. Among those who survive, a lot of them are important people in the plot, like all Initiators who show up in the original, like Kayo Senju and Asaka Mibu.

”Ugh... my whole body... It hurts...”

”You woke up?!”

Kaito was shocked that Rentaro managed to open his eyes quickly, but remembering this guy was the protagonist, aka son of this world, Kaito quickly adjusted his mood and just greeted him calmly, ”Good morning. Are you okay, senpai?”

...!!

Hearing this teasing voice, even though his whole body ached, Rentaro forced his eyes open and saw Kaito sitting next to him. Around him also a lot of people seemed to watch toward the sky, so Rentaro turned around to see the spectacular fight between Saitama and Scorpion that happened in the Pacific Ocean sky... visible to everyone due to how explosive and loud it was across the Earth’s northern hemisphere.

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

...!!!

”K-Kaito... You... what happened?”

”Don’t you remember? If my guess were correct, you were all on a mission to capture me and my group of friends with military, but you were affected by our ’war’ because you were too close.”

...!!!

Hearing Kaito’s explanation, Rentaro then remembered what happened before the tragedy, and his face immediately turned pale and panicked, ”Oh yeah! Enju! Kisara!”

”A-Are they okay?!”

”Calm downsenpai. Look beside you.”

Seeing Kisara and Enju lying unconscious beside him and a dozen people also lying unconscious, but still breathing, Rentaro’s tears flowed out of reflex, ”Thank goodness... *Sniff* they’re safe... Thank you so much...” *Sniff*

”Thank you... Kaito... *Sniff*”

”Yeah...”  Kaito just shrugged and stated, ”You guys are really lucky to still be alive.”Kaito said it sincerely without any hint of sarcasm.

Kaito was sure that if Rentaro and the others did not have plot armor, they would have died because falling from a height of hundreds of meters from a helicopter is not a joke for normal humans. Most of the survivors are cursed children who have physical abilities above humans, such as Kayo Senju, Asaka Mibu, and Yuzuki Katagiri, but none of their promoters survived the tragic event besides Rentaro and Kisara.

Not to mention that if Kaito does not decide to save people who are still breathing from near the Iwaki area, they would be 100% dead after getting nuclear bomb exposure and radiation!

...

After a few minutes of crying and regretting what had happened to them, Rentaro, who remembered why he is here, then asked him seriously, ”Kaito-kun... can you tell me who you are?”

”What happened? Why are you doing this?”

After realizing they were seemingly currently above the sky with all of their injuries healed, Rentaro wondered what kind of identity Kaito had and why he decided to befriend them.

”Well... me... and my friend came from another world.”

”Another world?”

”Yeah.”

”...Are you kidding me?”

”Look at the fight in the sky and where you are currently. Do you think I am joking, senpai?”

”Uh... It’s just... unbelievable.”

”Just believe me.” Kaito shook his head, ”Let’s just say, we have a mission to do in this world.”

”I see...” Rentaro decides to trust him, considering Kaito has saved them, and then expresses his doubt, ”But why are you doing this?”

”Provoking the Tokyo Area government, opening the suitcase, and endangering everyone...”

”Again, take a look at my friend currently fighting Scorpion there...” Kaito pointed his finger at the constant explosion and blur in the sky and sea, ”Do you think a normal level 5 Gastrea is that big is capable of moving at the speed of light?”

...!!

”I-Is that... A Scorpion?!”

*BOOM*

”Yeah...”

*BOOM*

”That’s... what happened to it?!”

*BOOM*

...!!!

Seeing the unreasonable destruction and indescribable fight between Saitama and Scorpion in the ocean and sky... to say Rentaro felt shocked is an understatement.

As former solder from new human project, he knew how dangerous a level 5 Gastrea was from the information he learned in the institute, but he was sure that Gastrea creatures couldn’t move at the speed of light (if it’s even possible in physics) and weren’t as big and tall as the tallest tower in the world!

Kaito then explained to Rentaro their identities as visitors from another world in detail, as well as their main goal to collect the Est soul fragment, which is Kaito’s own ”little sister”.

In a way, Kaito never lied to Kisara when recruiting Tendo Civil Servants; he wanted to find his little sister, and if not for that, Kaito doubted he would visit this cursed world.

Kaito then also explained that this Est soul fragment also has a ”curse” attached to it, a curse that regenerates very strong energy and drastically increases the strength of the host it chooses. Unfortunately, in this world, the Est soul fragment is attached to one of the 12 most dangerous creatures in this world, Gastrea level 5-- and not just 1, but it is suspected that there are 3 or 4 fragments attached to the same host... making Scorpion outrageously stronger than she used to be.

It is undeniable, if Kaito and the chat group did not exist, Scorpion could certainly destroy this world.

As for the cursed children case, Kaito and many of his friends did not like how cursed children in this world were treated, so they decided to gather them and bring them to another world so they could live happily.

...

Hearing all of Kaito’s explanations, Rentaro, who was initially confused and angry, immediately became relieved but also confused. Relieved because Kaito was not a bad person and had no intention of destroying the Tokyo Area, but he also felt confused about whether what Kaito did was the right thing.

”I understand... but Kaito, why did you kill so many people in Tokyo?”

”There are so many reports of cursed children going missing along with groups of adult humans who were also killed or missing--- you did it, didn’t you?”

Hearing Rentaro’s serious question, Kaito folded his hands and easily confessed, ”Yes, I did.”

”Why?!”

”Why? Because they are criminals in my eyes and do not deserve to live?”

”They may be criminals, but they still have the right to live!” Rentaro emphasized, ”Why didn’t you report them so they could be arrested?!”

?????

Hearing Rentaro’s naive answer, Kaito felt annoyed until angry veins were visible on his forehead, ”Really, do you know how many times I saved cursed children in dying conditions?”

”Do you know how many cursed children died from being tortured by those bastards.. for fun?!”

”And you say those scum have the right to live?!”

...!!!

”Kaito... But you shouldn’t kill them... They are also victim of the Gastrea creature 10 years ago...”

”That’s bullshit.” Kaito shook his head regretfully, ”Rentaro-san, I already knew you would react like this... and I am disappointed.”

”But you should call the police...”

”The same damn police that choose to ignore cursed children, and most of them also have a hobby of torturing them, too!” Kaito yelled out, which attracted a lot of chat group members, but they chose to watch from the sidelines.

Certainly, all members also know they have no right to criticize him as Kaito has witnessed so many... too many tragedies involving cursed children in this world.

”They might be victim of the Gastrea creature... some of their loved one may have been killed by them to become like this... but what does it have to do with cursed children who did nothing wrong?!”

...!!

Kaito then grabbed Rentaro’s collar and shouted in front of his face with anger, ”They are not Gastrea creatures, and it’s not like they could choose to be born as cursed children either!”

”Yet you blame them because cursed children won’t fight back, and they had a chance to turn into creatures you guys hate!”

”And what makes it worse, you guys also use them to protect yourself despite treating them like cancer on earth!”

”So tell me, senpai! WHAT DID THE CURSED CHILDREN DO TO SUFFER THAT MUCH IN THIS WORLD!”

”...”

Hearing Kaito’s words, Rentaro, who was previously angry, became quiet, confused, and embarrassed... because he knew Kaito was right. Cursed children did nothing wrong, just became easy victims of the revenge of those people. However, Rentaro himself, as a victim of Gastrea, losing both parents and many comrades on the battlefield, also understood the feelings of the citizens who hated the Gastrea creatures and were blinded by revenge.

For Rentaro, both sides are right and wrong... but there’s no denying that the cursed children are victims who did nothing wrong. Realizing this, Rentaro now fully agrees with Kaito’s plan to bring the cursed children to their world... because if there are no cursed children, at least the oppression against them will no longer happen.

...

In the end, both Kaito and Rentaro tacitly agree to stop arguing and focus on waiting for Saitama-sensei to finish his fight.... until suddenly, Saitama pings all the members in the chat group.

=====

[Caped Baldy]: ”@Everyone. Help!”

[Owner]: ”???”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”???”

[Railgun Girl]: ”???”

[Necromancer]: ”???”

[God Tongue]: ”???”

[Owner]: ”You want our help to fight that super dangerous Scorpion? Is this kind of joke, Sensei?”

[Railgun Girl]: ”What happened, sensei?”

[Caped Baldy]: ”I got this personal task during my fight with Scorpion... but I don’t know what to do!”

After that, Saitama quickly shared his task to the chat group... and upon reading it, everyone was shocked. Especially Kaito, since it was issued by world consciousness itself, and the optional task wanted him to help, too!

Seeing the personal task that Saitama received, the entire chat group immediately went into an uproar... especially since no one expected that the world would want them to save Scorpion.
