The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After reviving Est and spending time with her throughout the day, Kaito and Est return to the world of Akame Ga Kill that night, at Est’s request. When Est and Kaito appear inside the villa, they are immediately greeted by all the chat group members who crowd around Est enthusiastically. It seems that Kaito underestimated how popular Est was before (as just mainly a mascot), but at least Kaito is glad that Est is also pretty much accepted by everyone here.

Even the non-chat group member who is also curious gets conquered by her cuteness and simple-mindedness of Est.

”I am back.” Est greeted everyone politely.

”Welcome back, Est!” (Misaka)

”I am glad you are back and fine, Miss Est.” (Sakuya)

”Est, I have prepared your favorite food!” (Erina)

”We miss you, little girl!” (Miya)

...

While everyone surrounded his beloved ’sister’, Kaito retreated from the group and just watched the enthusiastic crowd with a smile on his face. Unlike everyone, Kaito has spent the whole day with Est and knows everyone also misses her like he does.

”I can’t blame everyone. Est is cute after all.” Kaito muttered.

”Even cuter than Midori?”

”Eh?”

Hearing an unexpected comment out of nowhere, Kaito looked beside him and realized the trio of former children already stood beside him, with a pout on their faces.

”Ah, good evening, you three.”

”Good evening, brother.” Scorpion greeted him with a flat tone, making Kaito feel a bit nervous, ”And welcome back.”

”Uh, thank you... How’s your guys’ day?”  Kaito sat down to get close to their height and asked kindly,

”We were spending the whole day at home with Yuu nee-chan.” Anna answered him, ”We are told today that Kaito’s brother is busy, so we have decided to wait for you.”

”Kaito-sama, that girl... is she Est’s older sister?” Midori asked curiously. Unlike Scorpion and Anna, she has been aware of Kaito’s goal all this time to visit their world, and she’s also been told about Est’s identity before... which is his strongest sword and first adopted sister.

”Yes. I went to pick her up.” Kaito patted the three children’s heads, making them feel comfortable, ”Est will become your older sister from now on.”

”I hope you guys can get along with her.”

...!!!

Hearing what Kaito said, the three children nodded together, quickly accepting new girl was about to join them. Although Anna became curious and asked, ”But older sister? But she looks the same age or even seems younger than us.”

”Believe me, she’s way older than most of the people here, although she doesn’t look like that.” Kaito wryly smiled at her.

Except for Midori, none of Anna nor Scorpion is aware of Est’s identity as a holy sword incarnation who has been ’awake’ for hundreds of years.

After the chat group had greeted Est with enthusiasm, the three cursed children and Est met and were introduced to each other. Since Est has been told about their situation by Kaito, Est quickly accepted her role as older sister for them. Est even looks excited since she has never had siblings before, and the trio of former  cursed children are also quickly fond of and like their new sister, especially Scorpion, who’s also very similar in behavior (not so expressive)

After Est and the trio of former cursed children meet, they quickly get along and even decide to play together right away to get to know each other. Despite at night time being children with superpowers and a sword incarnate, neither of them needs much sleep, and they were very excited to get along together.

Meanwhile, Kaito was invited by Aika privately to her office tonight, and he quickly agreed. He also has a lot of questions about what Aika wanted to do after seeing a lot of newly built houses near their mansion, wondering what her plan is with that.

After arriving inside her office in this world, Aika quickly made a coffee for both of them, thinking they were going to have a very long discussion. Knowing Kaito for a while, Aika also has guessed that Kaito must have seen the houses near the wooden mansion, and he must have questions about that.

Sure enough, after receiving his cup of coffee, Kaito sat down and asked her, ”I have seen the houses you guys built near the mansion. Is it for cursed children?”

”Yeah,” Aika admitted frankly, ”I asked Sakuya to build those a few days ago for them. After Minaka (Sekirei) successfully teaches them basic daily care and makes sure there’s no chance for them to become a Gastrea creature, they will live in those houses permanently.”

”That makes sense.” Kaito nodded and then wondered, ”Then, do you plan to bring more people from Akame Ga Kill and High School of the Dead later? I mean, there must be a lot of people who want to move in, and we can’t let the children work either, right? That would be a violation of underage labor law.”

Although Kaito knows the cursed children are mini superhumans on their own, he really doesn’t want them to work so early and instead wants to let them just enjoy their youth. In his opinion, only adults need to work; kids should be happy, playing, and learning in school-- especially former cursed children who have suffered for their entire life.

”I know what you mean, but it’s not that easy, Owner.”

”Hmm? Is it just let them move in and they can figure things out themselves?”

”Of course, no!”

However, instead of immediately agreeing, Aika rolled her eyes, slightly pissed with Kaito, who seemed unaware of their current difficulty, which stunned Kaito.

”There is still so much work to be done. You already know how difficult it was to build a proper village in the Naruto world, and you thought building the whole world would be easy work?”

”A country won’t be built in a single night, forget about the whole world.”

”Ah.”

Aika then patiently explained to Kaito all the main difficulties they needed to overcome if they wanted to make sure their world could be a place for everyone to live together in harmony.

From the division of the area of living for each member, communication between people of between races, and more importantly, making a set of absolute rules for every person living in the base world that they need to follow and abide.

This is not something that they could decide overnight, and they really need to be careful. Aika even thought to ask Manaka to summon any heroic spirit with experience in managing a country to help her create a perfect law for this world later. They need to create a set of laws for everyone who wants to live in this world, a law that could be accepted by everyone, which serves as the foundation of the whole world.

...

”I admit I don’t even know how to develop a city, forget about the whole world.” Kaito scratched his head awkwardly and answered, ”I am glad you are here to remind me and help me.”

”Yeah, yeah, yeah... just make sure you will always accept my request when I need you to help.” Aika smirked and teased, ”But for now, our next focus was to connect more worlds to the base world through a portal and establish a living area in the base world.”

”But, how about the rules?”

”For a set of rules, we can always work on them later. Can’t make rules for people if there’s no people in the first place, right?”

”Make sense.” Kaito nodded and decided to leave the brain working to her, ”I will trust your management, Aika. Meanwhile, I will focus on how to get stronger.”

”No.”

”Huh?” Surprised by Aika’s sudden rejection of his proposal, Kaito opened his eyes wide, ”Why?”

”Stop trying to get stronger.”

”Eh?”

”But wasn’t one of the requirements for me to become a 7* strength person?” Kaito asked in confusion, giving an expression that said, ’wtf are you saying?’

”Yes, but we are not in a hurry.” Aika folded her arms seriously, ”You are not in a hurry either.”

”No, we do. Remember my bad luck curse--”

”We know. But still no.” Aika shook her head, ”You are getting impatient.”

”But the faster I got stronger, the more I could help,” Kaito argued.

”We’re not a vase, Kaito.” Aika sharpened her eyes, ”You also forgot the other reason why you are pursuing strength in the first place.”

”...”

Remember how every chat group member worked together for the last Est soul fragment without him. Kaito admitted that everyone indeed had already gotten stronger.

However, in Kaito’s opinion, that wasn’t whether chat group members were strong enough; what mattered was whether he could grow fast enough to solve his bad luck curse before his situation got even worse.

”...But still, I need to get stronger. Not for everyone, but for myself.” Kaito seriously said, ”You know what my issue is, Aika.”

”I understand, but please take a rest for quite a bit to adjust your mental situation.” Aika persuaded with a hint of desperation, ”Besides, I have asked the chat group system, and you have an issue, Kaito.”

”An issue?”

”You are currently in a bottleneck, and until you solve your obvious shortcoming, you won’t improve your strength further.”

”Huh? How did you know?”

”Let me show you something about the comprehension detail of your current strength.”

Aika then shows a holographic window in front of Kaito’s eyes, which turns out to be a comprehensive detail of Kaito’s current strength status.

Conclusion: While the Owner possesses multiple high-caliber abilities with unlimited versatility, he’s still too dependent on his abilities. The owner is working like a glass cannon; he has deadly means to defeat enemies of 6*, but lacks the durability to tank any hit with strength above 4* peak.

Solution: The Owner needs to work on his passive ability and his basic physical strength more.

”Interesting. I even forgot I got that ability of noble phantasm in the Fate world...” Kaito commented while also looking at Aika with gratitude, ”But I admit I need to work on my body.”

Just remember how useless Kaito felt back when Scorpion was fighting against Saitama; the chat group system was right about him. Despite having 6* strength, funny enough, Kaito would still die if he got nuked on the face... which should be around 5* strength. His strength is clearly very imbalanced, which is really funny when he thinks about it.

At 7* strength realm, he should be able to destroy a planet, but then an anti-tank sniper bullet to his head would end him, since his body durability was too weak.

”I am glad you realize that.”

”Umm... So should I learn swordmanship from Miya?”

”Miya-san can’t help you.” Aika shook her head and answered, ”You need to raise your physical strength and swordmanship at least to 6*”

”That’s country level...” Kaito frowned and couldn’t imagine what he should do to reach that level. He knew that Yuu and Saitama’s physical bodies were at least on that level or beyond, but Kaito himself didn’t know what method he should use.

”Don’t worry, from my deal with the system, after 8 months, the chat group should have released a personal task specialized to help you break through to 7* later.”

...???

”Wait... You could even negotiate with the chat group about me?!” Kaito asked with shock, genuinely surprised that the chat group system was willing to cooperate with Aika that far.

”Well, the system seems aware of your shortcomings and agrees to let me help you~”

”But...”

”After all, we don’t want something that happens in the Fate world happen again to you.” Aika stated, giving him a scrutinizing look, ”You were lucky because Manaka wasn’t your opponent, but what if she was your enemy?”

”You would be dead by now, Kaito.”

...!!!

*Gulp*

Hearing Aika’s words and her threat that he wouldn’t work if Kaito didn’t listen, Kaito finally relented and complied with her wishes. After all, the chat group would definitely provide a solution to Kaito’s situation in eight months, and he just had to wait until that time came. In 8 months, Kaito believes he could accumulate enough points to help him with his physical body condition using the system... while also spending more time with each girl in his harem.

Aika then assigned Kaito the task of guiding the Cursed Children on how to live in this world, as Kaito was the most popular member of the chat group. Furthermore, although there were thousands of Cursed Children, Kaito possessed max charisma against little children, clone abilities, and infinity energy, making him the only person most suited for the job among the chat group.

Needless to say, Kaito gladly accepted the job. Seeing how many former cursed children were going to live in the base world, he also had the idea of building his own territory like Crocodile, but with former cursed children as its main inhabitants.
