The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Affected by the ”natural disaster” and their General Esdeath had been successfully arrested, the rest of the Imperial Empire army naturally chose to surrender immediately. They had lost too many people in this war, and yet there are literally 0 deaths on the other side (albeit there’s still injury).

It’s not even a war; it’s truly a massacre.

Yet, they haven’t even learned what happened in the Capital, otherwise they would become even more desperate.

Anyway, now that their enemy had finally surrendered, everyone lowered their weapons together. Aika then instructed Uta to come out and activate her ability, which put the entire Imperial Army into a sleep state, allowing them to be easily arrested and restrained.

Fortunately, Uta had no problem doing that. In the original movie, Uta was able to put hundreds of thousands of her concert viewers to sleep with her ability. Uta, who had become much stronger since joining the chat group, could confine millions of people to a dream world if he wanted.

And just like that, the ’war’ between hundreds of thousands of Imperial Army soldiers and Paradise City ended in a matter of hours with Paradise City’s absolute victory.

”We are won!”

”Team 2! Team 2!”

”Crocodile-sama, Misaka-sama, everyone is amazing!”

”Long live Crocodile-sama! Long live Crocodile-sama!”

...

Naturally, upon hearing that Paradise City had won the war and even overthrown the Empire in the process, the city’s residents were overjoyed and grateful. Many of them couldn’t believe they’d chosen the right side, and even more shocked when they learn the city was barely even harmed in the process.

They also believed that if the Empire were now under Team 2’s control, the future of the entire Empire would be incredibly bright and promising.

Even in the Imperial Capital itself, upon hearing that the Emperor and Budo had been captured, many residents of the Imperial Capital prostrated themselves in the streets, crying and laughing with joy. After hearing and learning the news about the prosperity of the people living in Paradise City, they were filled with envy and wished that Team 2 would also rule the Empire altogether.

And it turned out their wish came to fruition.

>>>>>>

With tens of thousands of soldiers captured and the Empire successfully overthrown, Crocodile and Team 2’s workload has become even greater than before.

This is because, despite the Empire’s being overthrown, the Revolutionary Army appears to be attacking the Capital and several key states in the Empire to seize the opportunity. Even though Kaguya has worked to stop them during this time, there are simply too many of the Revolutionary Army out there for her to handle alone.

While Team 2 isn’t afraid of them, Crocodile must make a swift decision to stop them, as he is aware that they need to stabilize their rule as soon as possible, so Crocodile has sent more reinforcements, like Arturia, Kazehana, and Itachi, to help Kaguya. Fortunately, Esdeath cooperates after waking up and learning of the Empire’s crushing defeat... She decides to join Team 2 after getting defeated by Kaito himself.

As someone who believes in ’strong should dominate the weak as they please’, Esdeath has no complaint about joining whatsoever after Kaito ordered her.

If anything, Esdeath became excited after learning that Kaito and his friend came from another world, which means there’s a chance for her to get stronger and challenge even stronger people. She quickly takes Crocodile’s order to lead the troops under her (who were still alive) to defeat the Revolutionary Army, which had begun to make a move.

...

Right now, Kaito, Yuu, three lolis, and, for some reason, Esdeath are strolling in Paradise City, which is in a state of festive celebration with banquets happening everywhere to celebrate the victory of Paradise City. Crocodile also announced that Team 2 would cover all the festivities for the evening, filling the streets with people enjoying themselves, buying food, dancing, and having fun.

Most citizens enjoy free food, while most merchants take this chance to promote their products for free to Paradise City citizens. And the climax, Uta was even holding a free grandiose concert at midnight, and all the guards were working hard to ensure the safety of the city, even though they had just been through a war.

...

”Hey, you girls, try these apple candies for free!” (Stall Owner A)

”We also have crepes here, though you need to wait in line!” (Stall Owner B)

”Hey man, we also have meat here! Kids need all the meat so they can grow up properly.” (Meat Merchant)

”Ahaha... Thank you for your offer, but we are already quite full here.” Kaito apologetically waved his hand to all the excited merchants, ”Good luck, though!”

...

Since the celebration began, every store has enthusiastically offered free food. Even non-building stores, such as construction and tool stores, have offered free services to repair or build items residents want to display publicly.

In fact, Kaito and the others are currently wearing prop bracelets that can change the perception of their identities from the outside through optical illusions; otherwise, Kaito, who is one of the most popular members, has been surrounded by people for a long time. Misaka was even forced to escape using elementalization into lightning and flee away, because she was surrounded by people the moment she showed up her face.

...

”Everyone is so happy, it’s amazing!” Midori said excitedly while licking her ice cream, ”It’s great, brother...”

”Umm, there is so much free food.” Anna followed with a nod, ” And no one scolds us for taking free food... I am so happy!”

Kaito patted Anna’s head and replied, ”Don’t worry, I will guarantee you that no one will scold you all for nothing from now on.”

””Umm!””

”That being said, no one recognizes us here except our own? Your props are amazing, Kaito.” Esdeath, who has been quietly enjoying the festive mood, quickly chimed in, ”As expected, you are really going easy on me.”

”I have told you that I am technically able to do anything.” Kaito gave her a smug look and then asked, ”Speaking of which, Esdeath, what do you think about this place that my friend built together?”

”It’s a very... prosperous and enjoyable city. Much better than Capital.”

At least Esdeath hasn’t seen any kind of slum here, or anyone who has a sad face in this Paradise. ”So this is the sort of place you want to protect, Kaito?”

”As a General, I am not that interested, but I admit this place is good for people to live in far more than any other place.”

”Yeah.” Kaito admitted and confessed his goal, ”I also want to build a whole world with this kind of atmosphere, so this is just the first step of our united goal.”

Hearing such an answer, Esdeath’s eyes gleaming with light, excitedly, ”Other world... I can’t wait to explore other worlds and challenge more strong people!”

”Well, you can do that after you take care of all the rebels.” Kaito just shrugged, remembering the deal Crocodile provided to her.

Crocodile promised Esdeath that as long as she takes care of all the revolutionary army, chat group members agree to bring her to another world to become stronger.

”Don’t worry, tomorrow, early morning, I will lead my army to take care of them as soon as possible, alongside all the Teigu users that are still alive.”

”Good.”

With the armory and equipment provided by Crocodile (which was from Kaito) to her army, Esdeath believes it would only matter of time before the Revolutionary Army rats get destroyed-- not to mention now she’s also in command of all Teigu users that were still alive. Even Night Raid also willing to work under Esdeath temporarily to destroy their last enemy in the Empire.

”Speaking of which, Kaito, I heard one of your friends destroyed most of the Imperial Capital... and overthrew the Emperor’s strongest Teigu in a single punch?” Esdeath curiously asked, ”Is that true?”

”Yeah... He does.” Kaito nodded seriously, ”Heck, Saitama-sensei should be able to defeat me in a single attack if he wanted to.”

In his opinion, Saitama should already be 7* since, in the original, Saitama easily touches and destroys any concept/rules with his bare hands. If anything, Saitama should be close to 8* being now, as he currently has the power to destroy the star easily after fighting Scorpion.

”Seriously... Even stronger than you?”Esdeath’s eyes gleamed.

”I am serious. Even stronger than me, easily far stronger, no cap.” Kaito wryly smiled, realizing this might be a chance to redirect this troublesome woman’s attention, ”Maybe you should look for him and try to challenge him~” Kaito teased.

”Heh... I see. Then, I will look forward to him.”

Hearing there is still someone that far stronger than Kaito, Esdeath becomes excited and eager to fight. What she didn’t know was that Saitama is not someone she should even think to challenge, but that’s only something she found out later.

After that, Kaito and others continued their strolling in the city until they were exhausted, enjoying themselves, before deciding to go back to take the most important matter. After all, now that the last Est soul fragment has been collected, Kaito is finally able to resurrect Est and apologize to her.

After getting back home late at night and making sure every former cursed child has fallen asleep, Kaito quickly opened the chat group to report, and it seems he comes at the right time with a lot of people ’online’ right now.

=====

[God Tongue]: ”I really can’t believe you guys overthrew the Empire on the first day!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”With overwhelming strength advantage, it only matters when we want to do it. After all, there’s nothing that Empire could do to stop us, not even the Supreme Teigu.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”The Supreme Teigu were intimidating at first with the curse, with heights that even rivaled the Eiffel Tower, but Saitama-sensei quickly punched it down and defeated it.”

[Root Princess]: ”Not really surprised. Even at the beginning of the plot in the Saitama-sensei world, we have witnessed Saitama-sensei punching a 2 km giant in one punch. Forget about 1/10 of that.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Without the ability to generate, it’s not that hard to punch it down.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”Uh, I don’t think most of us can punch it down that easily, sensei.”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”That’s only work for you, Saitama-sensei. We can’t defeat that just by punching it.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Pffft... That’s true.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Pffft... Indeed, easier said than done.”

[Owner]: ”You guys seem to have fun. Hello, guys.”

[God Tongue]: ”Welcome back!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Hello, Kaito. Good job on capturing the general!”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Hello Owner.”

...

The moment Kaito’s name pops up, almost everyone online greets him, though his girls immediately come to complain.

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Ah, Kaito is here. Welcome back! Have you enjoyed your date with lolis and your new woman, Esdeath?”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Master must be happy. After all, he has been playing with Lolita and Yuu every single day.”

[Necromancer]: ”...”

[God Tongue]: ”Oof.”

[Owner]: ”Stop teasing me, you guys are the ones who told me to take a rest.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”So... how is it, Kaito-kun? Did you feel better and not feel so murderous anymore?”

[Owner]: ”Yeah... Thank you, everyone. I guess the stress comes from the Black Bullet world, and my bad luck curse situation almost broke me down back then.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”I admit I was really scared back then, but I am glad you are okay now.”

[Owner]: ”Yeah, I am glad to have everyone here willing to help, so once again, thank you all.”

...

After some time of relaxing and thinking about what he had done in the Black Bullet, Kaito fully realized that he scared everyone with his extreme behavior. Although Kaito does feel a bit desperate to get stronger and couldn’t afford to fail anymore, there’s no point in doing so if it would make him hated by everyone.

After all, his main goal has always been to help his family (chat group), not to be hated by them. While his curse situation needs to be solved, his family is the priority that he needs to care about.

In the chat group with a lot of good people, Kaito’s newest ability to torture a ’soul’ to way worse than death itself certainly makes them feel disgusted, including himself... and he would certainly never do it again unless really necessary. After all, he felt a little bit of it himself, and it was the most terrifying memory he’s ever witnessed, forget about what the victim would feel!

...

[Mage of Exodus]: ”That’s good to know. So, when you finally open and spend your time together with each of us? I think we deserve a bit of reward after everything we have done.”

[Root Princess]: ”That’s a good proposal. I think I have contributed the most to this rescue task. Getting a reward from doing so is natural, right?”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”I also help master a lot every day, I hope to get a good reward for it.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Me too. I thought you had forgotten me, Kaito-kun. Although you are the one who kidnapped me to follow you.”

[Sekirei Number 7]: ”Master, I want to feel you...”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Kaito-san...”

[Owner]: ”Yes. Indeed. I promise to all of you.”

...

Looking at every girl in the harem who suddenly came out to tease him in the chat group, Kaito just smiled and admitted there was some truth in their world. Each girl has helped him in various ways, and to say he feels indebted to them was an understatement. Kaito indeed has neglected all other girls who care for him and is determined to spend his time with each of them later on, after he successfully resurrects Est.

[Mage of Exodus]: ”We will hold your promise then.”

[Root Princess]: ”Make sure you have enough free time for each of us~”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Scumbag.”

[Owner]: ”...”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Do you need my help to manage your time, Owner? That’s a lot of people to take care of. I hope you will be okay in the end.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”6 people... and the number may increase more in the future. Definitely.”

[God Tongue]: ”That’s enough for 1 girl per day to spend, leaving one day for rest.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”Wow. Our king has become really naughty.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Kaito, you are going back to being busy again, huh?”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”And more to come in the future... who knows? This guy always wants to befriend people in each world.”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”Don’t forget there are thousands of lolis out there that also want to marry him.”

[SAO Administrator]: ”I must say our owner is the typical irresponsible harem protagonist.”

[Owner]: ”...You guys have fun mocking me, don’t you?”

Looking at everyone’s comment, Kaito could only wryly smile, since he really couldn’t deny their accusation. Heck, he doesn’t even realize until now that there are so many girls like him at the same time, and now he’s troubled about how to answer and accept each of them. (except Ravel, ofc)

...

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Enough of chit-chat, guy, why are you here, Kaito? When you finally finish the group task?”

[Owner]: ”Ah... yeah, I was here to talk about that. But I got distracted by you guys! Anyway! Tomorrow morning, I will go back to the base world first before resurrecting her alone.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Huh, alone?”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Why?”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Wait, you don’t want to do it in front of everyone, Kaito-kun?”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”We also miss Ms. Est, master.”

[Owner]: ”I am sorry... but I hope to be alone doing this. I want to apologize to Est privately for my mistake.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Master...”

Knowing there’s no way Kaito wouldn’t embarrass himself when Est got resurrected, he obviously preferred to do this alone. Besides that, he wanted to spend the whole day with her and tell her everything that had happened until now, while also apologizing to her for making her suffer at the end of her last life and betraying her trust.

He’s the one who is responsible for making Est suffer, and asking for forgiveness is the least thing he could do. Even if Est wanted to beat him later, Kaito would let her do whatever she wanted to him.

Fortunately, everyone understands their leader wanted to do, and decides to let him be. It’s obviously Kaito who has suffered the most from this incident, and it’s natural for their leader to apologize to Est.

...

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Understandable. We will stay here until the portal opens and take care of all the hassle. No one minds, right?”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Nope.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”It’s okay, master.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”We have a lot of stuff that needs to be taken care of anyway. The revolutionary army has been making a lot of moves.”

[Root Princess]: ”The retrieval of all cursed children in Black Bullet also still far from being done. And our task of full extermination of the Gastrea creature would take longer than we expect.”

[Necromancer]: ”We also want to clean all the zombies in the High School of the Dead world, too, and it would take some time to finish, too.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Go for it, Kaito. You have learn your lesson, and I am sorry for being too harsh with you before.”

[Owner]: ”It is okay... It’s undeniably my fault anyway, and I am glad everyone is willing to help me. Thank you, all.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”You’re welcome.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”It’s our pleasure to be able to help. You also have helped us a lot anyway.”

[God Tongue]: ”Cheer up, Owner! I will make sure to prepare something to celebrate Est’s comeback later. She must miss my food!”

[God Tongue Secretary]: ”I will also help!”

...

After getting confirmation from the rest of the chat group, Kaito decided to close the chat group to sleep. It’s been a very tiring day, and tomorrow he needs to wake up early to resurrect Est to finish the group task.
