The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After new members and others (mainly Rimuru’s story) digested all the memories shared in the chat group, everyone now has a rough understanding of the new members’ character, their goal, and their supposed original future.

Also, like how many member reacted the first time about their future, they were generally confused and not satisfied with their original future.

This was especially Kazuma and Aqua, who had ’witnessed’ their own original future; both of them immediately decided not to come back to their world at all.

*BAMM*

”I don’t want to return to that world! Why is my life full of suffering and comedy?!” Kazuma protested violently, ”And all my party members were useless?!”

Kazuma then pointed toward Lala and Rimuru, ”While that slime and that alien princess protagonist have good harem members?! Life is so unfair!”

*BAMM*

”Indeed! Isn’t that a bit too much?” Aqua followed him, also feeling upset with the memories she had seen, ”I am a goddess, there’s no way I would make all of those stupid choices!”

”No, no. Aqua-san will make that same stupid choice.” Kazuma looked at her with a deadpan with no doubt, ”Or maybe even worse.”

”What do you mean, Kazutrash?!”

””Pffft!””

...

Looking at the two people denying their own ’original future’, everyone else can’t help but snicker and laugh at their silliness. It can’t be helped; every time members see the konosuba plot, it is full of comedic moments and a very funny story, easily one of the funniest isekai in the chat group.

Hence, despite what they said, no one takes Aqua and Kazuma seriously. After all, the memories have shown what kind of people they were!

”Their life is very funny! But I’m also curious how the adventure card works?” (Lala)

”That’s actually an interesting question. Maybe we should visit that world later.” (Aika)

”She’s an actual goddess, but she doesn’t look like a god at all. I guess I just realized how vast the world is.” (Natsuki)

”Compared to god in my world, she’s is very unique...” (Ravel)

”Ah, my fellow newcomer and reincarnator... they are indeed truly something else.” (Rimuru)

...

Hearing everyone talk about duo Kazuma Aqua and their world, Kaito actually also very interested in the konosuba world system. Although he had seen how the SAO leveling-up system worked, Kaito wanted to look for more systems in another world to perfect the leveling system when he decided to open the Aincrad dungeon in the base world. After all, unlike original SAO, there’s obviously going to be a magic profession or a more unique one like magic archer or priest.

Kaito particularly likes the adventure card and the profession work in Konosuba, and wondered if he could adapt its system to this world later on with the help of the chat group system.

...

”Since you two don’t want to go back, how about trying to live in this world and work with us?” Kaito offered kindly.

Anyway, since neither Kazuma nor Aqua wants to come back to their world, Kaito might as well try to recruit them to work with them in the base world.

As for whether the konosuba world would be fine or not without them? Obviously, it’s going to be alright. After all, in the world of Konosuba, the goddess constantly sends heroes from Earth to other worlds, so there’s no way a shortage of manpower would happen in that world. The only genuine threat was those demons from hell, but even they weren’t that threatening with Eris constantly monitoring the world directly.

””We can?!”” (Aqua/Kazuma)

”What kind of work are we talking about? I don’t want to be a construction worker here!” (Kazuma)

”That’s right, Kazuma-san. As a goddess, I have enough working low-paid jobs like that!” (Aqua)

”We can talk about salary later on, but the work I want to offer for both of you is different.”

Kaito tapped his finger on the table, acting like a true wise leader, ”Kazuma-san, With your luck value, I want you to maximize your exploration skill and become one of our only scouts, whether it’s to explore this world or a different world, while Aqua-san, we want you to work with us as the main priest that resurrects the dead people in this world.”

””Huh?””

Hearing Kaito explaining the job offer, most of the chat group members admit that Kaito really made a perfect job offer for them. Kazuma, despite his personality, does have very high luck stats and is even quite a good adventurer on his own. He has perfect stats to explore dangerous areas on his own, and with his luck stat, he should be able to avoid most dangerous situations.

And more importantly, Kazuma was able to perfectly replace Akitsu’s main job within the chat group to explore the area in the base world. Previously, this job was held by Akitsu, which resulted in result made her barely spending time with Kaito despite being the first official woman. After spending a wonderful night with Aika, Kaito genuinely feels bad for Akitsu and wants to make up for her later on.

As for Aqua’s job, everyone, even the most oblivious Lala, understands how important her role is going to be. In their memory, they have seen Aqua’s ability to resurrect the dead easily, which could save any life losses in any task for the future. Not to mention, some of the chat group members’ literal goal was to revive people, whether their loved one (Itachi) or those who were accidentally killed by them in the past. (Uta)

...

”I dont mind, boss!” Kazuma easily accepted the job offer, ”You will provide some starting funds and the monthly salary, right?”

”Yeah.” Kaito easily agreed, as such things are small matters for him. Kaito can give him some useful props to help with his exploration, too, on top of the points.

”How about you, Aqua-san?

”So... I also don’t mind working here.” Aqua answered seriously and then requested, ”But besides the fixed monthly salary, I also wanted something else!”

”Uh, what do you want?”

”But I want to spread my Axis cult here and make it the main religion in this world!”

””...””

Hearing Aqua’s shocking request, everyone in the room couldn’t help but want to curse this retarded goddess. After all, they have seen how ridiculous and crazy the so-called ”Axis cultist” is, and they were even more fierce than any greedy capitalist running an MLM business!

”Aqua-san, can you change your request? I honestly think your request is too difficult...” (Erina)

”No! I want to have followers too in this world!” (Aqua)

”Eto, Aqua-san, you know those people are quite abstract, right?” (Rimuru)

”What do you mean, abstract, you damn slime? Do you want me to hit you with my God Blow?! They are good followers!” (Aqua)

”But you already have followers in the other world... I don’t think you need more, Aqua-sama.” (Aika)

”What do you mean? As a goddess, it’s natural for me to want to have followers in every world!” (Aqua)

”Axis cultist in every world, that’s too scary...” (Ravel)

”I don’t care if you disagree with my request. I refuse to work with you!” Aqua threatened everyone arrogantly, still insisting on having her request despite refusal and persuasion from every single person in the room.

*Sigh*

”Well, we can negotiate later about the details, but sure...” Knowing there seems to be no way to persuade this retarded goddess, Kaito quickly gives in and takes over the topic, ”Well, at worst, let Aqua build her own city-state of Axis cult.”

...!!!?!?!

”Kaito, are you serious? This is the worst decision you have ever made, Darling.” (Aika)

”Your suggestion is not a good one, Kaito-kun. You might as well summon Cthulhu followers to the base world.” (Manaka)

”Indeed, that’s not a good joke, Owner.” (Crocodile)

”I am not joking.” Kaito shook his head, ”Her help is way too important for the chat group’s future, so I believe a necessary sacrifice is needed.”

”...”

Hearing Kaito’s answer, most people looked at him as if he were crazy, but Kaito was still serious. Anyway, in the future, there’s gonna be more different races, and Aqua help is necessary for the safety and goals of the chat group members. His family’s safety is above everything. Kaito really doesn’t want to experience losing someone close to him ever again.

”What do you think about my offer, Aqua-san?” Kaito calmly asked her, ”We won’t make your religion is the main one in this world, but we can build you a city instead.”

”Hmm... a dedicated city for Axis cult followers... I guess that’s okay.” Aqua thought carefully, thinking she probably needed a city for the main base of her followers in this world anyway, ”Only if you guys build the city for me!”

”DEAL!”

Hearing her requirement, Kaito immediately agreed to it before Aqua changed her mind. Anyway, most of the buildings in this world were constructed by Kaito material and Sakuya alone, so it’s creating a whole city is not a big problem at all for them. If it’s old Kaito, whose energy capacity wasn’t that great, he would reject this proposal, but now? Kaito literally connected with Root from the nasuverse. If it’s not enough, he could even rent ”Yuu” magical energy, though that wasn’t needed either.

And there’s a matter of city location. Aqua didn’t specify the location of the city itself in this world... so Kaito already planned to put her ”Axis cult” city far, far away from any other area to minimize the effect of the Axis cult city’s existence in this world.

’System, quickly exchange for the devil contract between me and Goddess Aqua!’ Kaito requested in his mind.

*DING*

To make sure she won’t change her deal, Kaito won’t even not hesitate to use some points to create a devil contract to ensure the agreement between them won’t be broken easily.

...

””HAPPY TO COOPERATE!”” (Aqua/Kaito)

”Hehehehe...” (Aqua)

”Hehehehe...” (Kaito)

The moment that the contract was signed, both of them laughed at each other, thinking they were making a good deal. Aqua was happy she managed to force this group of people to build a city for her followers, while Kaito was happy he managed to fool this goddess into working for basically half-free for him.

This moment was witnessed by all the members, making some of them wonder if Kaito had been affected by Aqua IQ reduction (They didn’t question Aqua’s thought process), while some smart members figured out why Kaito looked happy in this deal.

...

”Umm... Is our boss okay?” Kazuma asked with concern.

”Should be... okay?” Uta answered him, albeit with hesitation, ”I have never seen Kaito with such expression before.”

”Don’t worry, Kaito won’t make a lost deal otherwise, I would have intervened earlier,” Aika stated confidently, figuring out easily that her boyfriend had successfully managed to fool Aqua and even admired her darling ability to be capitalist.

Now, Kaito manages to fool 3 out of 4 members to work in the base world.

Aika admits her boyfriend really has the talent to convince people, but the last members won’t be so easy to fool. After all, Aika has digested the memory and admits this weak ’slime’ story doesn’t need intervention by the chat group... unless his world got invaded by Kaito’s bad luck curse.

Kaito also knows Rimuru probably doesn’t need their help anyway, but he is still willing to give it a try.

...

”Lastly, how about you, Rimuru? Do you also want to work with us?”

”Ah, I will pass. Knowing the future... I will get busy managing the monster town in Jura forest myself.” Rimuru answered with an apologetic tone.

”Alright then.” Hearing his answer, none of the people in the room were surprised by the result, and Kaito wasn’t upset either with the rejection.

Among all the newbies, undoubtedly the most shocking is Rimuru, as Kaito didn’t lie about his end form (At the end of LN) is really strong, and he can handle all the problems that come to him. Even when Rimuru just became the demon lord (beating the orc lord), he’s already stronger than the majority of the chat group members right now.

”But, now knowing the future, I do want to make some changes with my journey in the world,” Rimuru said with a firm tone.

”Ah, you wanted to save Shizue-san, right?! She was really pitiful.” Misaka guessed easily after watching the memories.

”Indeed, getting cursed by a demon lord... she is really pitiful.” Ravel nodded in agreement.

”Yeah... let me ask, chat group points can help with anything, right?” Rimuru asked seriously, ”As an adult, I want to handle my own problem if possible, but I probably need some points.”

”It does,” Crocodile answered, ”But the point cost may be a bit too much, and the only Owner probably has enough points to help you.”

”Is that so?” Hearing Crocodile, Rimuru turns to Kaito, ”Can you help me, Owner?”

”Just call me Kaito, you should be older than me, Rimuru-san.” Kaito nodded easily, didn’t mind helping any new family members, ”As the leader, of course, I am willing to help. Just ask me the number of points you need later.”

”Thank you.”

...

After that, everyone continues getting along with all the new members who joined the chat group until the banquet ends in one hour. Unfortunately, most of the new members were busy and couldn’t leave their ’role’ way too long, otherwise the situation on the base world would quickly get out of control. Even Rimuru can’t leave for too long, afraid of making his followers in the Jura forest panic.

While on it, after the banquet finished, Kaito also directly introduced the base world to new members who agreed to work under him, all their work and responsibilities, and even asked Sakuya to build their temporary house.

In the end, the banquet was able to satisfy everyone. Old chat group members were able to know the new members and get along with them, while new members felt welcomed and could integrate well with the chat group after finding out that many of the chat group members were friendly.
