The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Somewhere in another world, space outside of planet Earth, one of the newest members wakes up from her slumber after hearing a ping noise on her head.

*DING*

???

”Umm? What is this?”

Hearing a ”ping” sound on her head, a naked young girl with long pink hair and a voluptuous body couldn’t help but be awakened from her sleep.

But after opening her eyes, she immediately found a ”chat group” interface in front of her eyes, which piqued her curiosity.

...

”Oh!! What is this? A chat group?! Interesting!”

Her name is Lala Satalin Deviluke, the first daughter of the Deviluke Empire, an alien princess with a childlike personality. However, she’s also happened to be very smart, as she is capable of inventing weird alien gadgets on her own without anyone’s help.

”Peke, can you see anything in front of me?”

She tried to call her partner and creation, Peke, to see whether the thing could be seen by others, but a naturally non-member chat group couldn’t see the panel at all.

”No, Lala-sama. There’s nothing in front of you?”

”Oh! Scan me! Tell me if there’s something wrong with me!”

She immediately scanned herself to check her health status to see whether she’s under illusion, but surprisingly, everything is normal, and it seems no technology, no one else could detect the ’screen’ in front of her!

”Very interesting! I want to join!”

Curious what’s going on, after reading the introduction of the chat group, Lala quickly joined in and typed her first sentence in the chat group.

=====

[Alien Princess]: ”Test... Test... Hello?????? Aaaaa. Oh, so it read minds!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”The second members came out! Finally! I thought none of the new members would show up today. And her nickname... Is she an alien!”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”And a princess! We haven’t gotten any royal family in the chat group!”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”And Alien!”

[Alien Princess]: ”Sorry! I was testing it around, I thought it was a hallucination!”

[God Tongue]: ”Ah, I get you, new members! Most of all would think the same.”

[Alien Princess]: ”Is this how this works? I just really need to think about it, and it appears immediately! Amazing!”

Lala feels really excited since she can’t figure out how it works at all. After checking the introduction of the chat group and its purpose to help each other in need and do tasks, Lala became even more amazed as she realized that this chat group was connected to many people from different worlds.

After all, even her father, the overlord of the universe, never had the opportunity to communicate with other worlds!

...

[Owner]: ”I think I already know the identity of Alien Princess. Almost.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Ano... @Owner, Just to make sure... this Alien Princess is an actual alien?”

[Owner]: ”Should be. But don’t worry, she looks like a human, if you were afraid of a tentacle alien invading our chat group.”

[Alien Princess]: ”I don’t have any idea of invasion! But I am excited to join this chat group! Let’s help each other!”

[Necromancer]: ”That’s reassuring to know. Welcome to the chat group.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”I have a feeling this new member is a nice person. She seems to be polite and willing to help. Unlike the last one, who still runs at midnight.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”The new member looks energetic. I wonder if she’s strong.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”She also reminds me of old Misaka Mikoto in the early times. Very polite and doubtful about the chat group.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Then, she should not be a perverted and good person.”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”I think so too!”

[Alien Princess]: ”Hey, I am a good person!”

[Owner]: ”Yes. She is definitely a nice and good person. I can assure you that.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Have you figured out her identity, Owner?”

[Owner]: ”Yeah, she’s definitely Lala Satalin Deviluke. I thought she was Lum, but her curious nature and ’princess’ in her nickname give it away.”

[Alien Princess]: ”Eh?! How did you know my name?”

[Owner]: ”Because I know your story, and your behavior. Your curiosity about things and wanting to figure it out just gives you an identity, Princess Lala.”

[Alien Princess]: ”Is that so? Thank you!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”So, the new members is a smart people like Kayaba?”

[Owner]: ”She’s probably the smartest person here, no doubt. Heck, she doesn’t have a creation cheat, but she probably could make more versatile props than I do.”

...

Just remember how easily Lala developed a prop that was capable of teleporting her from an outer planet to Earth at the beginning, which is something Kaito can’t do yet.

That’s easily millions of kilometers of distance covered!

However, Kaito also remembers most of her props have has flaw in some way or form, which becomes part of the plot, whether it changes the situation for the worse for the protagonist. However, Kaito is confident that Lala should easily fix those flaws with points now that she has joined the chat group, and maybe become an even better inventor to help the rest of the family.

Or Kaito and chat group members just need to supervise and make sure her props are not making a lot of trouble!

...

[Alien Princess]: ”Eh, you really know me! I am flattered by your praise, though, Owner! Thank you!”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”More than you do? That’s really amazing, Owner.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”Wow, this new member sounds amazing.”

[Necromancer]: ”If Kaito said she’s smarter than any of us, then he’s probably not exaggerating.”

[SAO Administrator]: ”More smart than me? I wonder if we could work together then.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”If you are good at making props, maybe I could learn from her too!”

[Alien Princess]: ”I would like to work together!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Can you share the memories about her story already? I am so curious!”

[Owner]: ”Are you sure? Even though she came from a world with the same type of animation as High School DxD?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”What?”

[Necromancer]: ”Huh?”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Eh? So she’s a pervert?”

[Alien Princess]: ”Hmm? What is High School DxD?”

[Owner]: ”Well, we will explain one by one, Princess Lala... but for now, can I ask you... Where are you right now? Have you lived with Yuuki Rito?”

[Alien Princess]: ”Who? I don’t know that name!”

[Owner]: ”So you haven’t gone to planet Earth?!”

[Alien Princess]: ”Planet Earth... I do have a plan to escape to that planet today. I heard that planet is very interesting!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Gone to planet earth... I guess she’s being an alien in a literal sense. So you don’t even live on Earth!”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”I mean, her name makes she’s obviously an alien.”

[Owner]: ”So you haven’t met the protagonist, there’s a lot of room to maneuver! You want to escape the blind dates your father wants to arrange, right?”

...

Since Lala hasn’t met the protagonist, getting attached to him, Kaito thinks this really good chance to let Lala come to their side instead and even get ’attached’ to the chat group.

With her brain and knowledge, the chat group definitely benefits a lot from her, especially when no one in the chat group knows about outer space.

Not to mention, Kaito could ask her when he needs to figure out a new creation since Lala is really smart at making stuff related to sci-fi! So far, Kaito’s creation is still limited to his own imagination, but Kaito knows he’s not that creative. But if Lala helps him, then she probably could help with a new props idea-- not to mention she could help everyone with developing technology in the base world.

Though again, it means they also need to deal with her shenanigans... but still, in Kaito’s opinion, it will be worth it.

...

[Alien Princess]: ”Yeah, so you really know me! I do want to escape my blind date today!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Blind date? Your father wants to sell you off even though you are an alien?!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Blind dates with alien princess... that sounds ridiculous. Now I’m really curious what her story is about.”

[Owner]: ”Speaking of escaping, you can go to the base world where all members usually hang out. It will be everyone’s home from now on, and each member has absolute authority over it.”

[Alien Princess]: ”Base world? This chat group system has a world?”

[Owner]: ”Yeah. It will be a world for everyone, every race to live in harmony!”

[Alien Princess]: ”Wow, sounds amazing! Can you tell me how to get there? I want to go!”

[Witch of the Void]: ”Base world... I am also interested in it. Can I also visit there too?”

...?!?!

[Railgun Girl]: ”Wow, third newbie finally came out!”

[God Tongue]: ”Another one!”

[Baroque Work Leader]: ”It seems this particular newbie has been lurking out in the chat group.”

[Witch of the Void]: ”I am sorry, I’m just skeptical about this chat group, whether it would harm me or not.”

A petite girl with long black hair wearing a gothic uniform is currently sitting alone in her apartment bed in the morning. Like Lala Satalin Deviluke earlier, she also woke up to the ping noise, but chose to lurk around instead of appearing inside the chat group directly.

Minamiya Natsuki, as a high-level attack witch, has never seen anything like this before, and like Lala, she was really cautious, wondering if she was having a hallucination.

But when the chat group starts talking about the base world, Natsuki becomes very interested in it since that would be a direct way to prove whether this chat group is real or not. And the most attractive thing for her is Kaito’s statement, where he wants to build a world where every race lives in harmony... which is literally also her life goal.

After all, the main reason why she chose to guard Itogami Island was to defend the place, an island where, in her world, every race lives together!

...

[Owner]: ”Ah, your name... It’s either Yakumo Yukari or Minamiya Natsuki. Which one are you?”

[Witch of the Void]: ”My name is Minamiya Natsuki. So I assume you know my story, too, Owner?”

[Owner]: ”Oh!! It’s Natsuki-chan! I am glad it’s not a thousand-year-old lady!”

Looking at her answer, Kaito became really excited, but his reaction naturally made the rest of members confused.

[Railgun Girl]: ”???”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”???”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Master, are you okay?”

[Witch of the Void]: ”Don’t call me with -chan! We are not even familiar with each other!”

[Owner]: ”I am sorry, I just can’t help it. But I am glad you are joining us. We really do need you!”

[Witch of the Void]: ”Huh?”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”A new member that makes the Owner immediately want to recruit? I am really curious.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Me too. I wonder if she’s also strong.”

[Owner]: ”She’s not strong, but she’s something we really do need! Natsuki-chan, please help us!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Kaito, I am literally beside you right now, and you’re flirting with someone else in a chat group?”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Pffft!”

[Necromancer]: ”Pffft!”

[Owner]: ”Agh, I am sorry! Stop biting me!”

[Owner]: ”I am sorry, Aika!”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Oof. I don’t know why it became exciting to watch. Let me grab a popcorn using the chat group point.”

[Necromancer]: ”Good idea, I will get one too.”

[Alien Princess]: ”I don’t understand, but it’s exciting, and you can get popcorn using chat group points!”

[Root Princess]: ”It’s rare to see Kaito get excited. Can I ask you, @Witch of the Void, are you a little girl or have a petite body ?”

[Witch of the Void]: ”Who are you calling a little girl?! I am 26! Although I won’t deny my appearance would make people mistake me for a little girl... Ugh.”

Minamiya Natsuki looked at her own petite body and sighed. Thanks to her contract deal with a demon, she was cursed by it to have her original body stuck in prison, while the current body was only her projection that won’t age.

...

[Root Princess]: ”I know it!”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Interesting, Kaito-kun.”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Kaito-san, we may need to talk about your hobby...”

[Railgun Girl]: ”A lolicon scumbag.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”No wonder Scorpion would get along with him just fine. So it’s about your nature, huh?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Now it makes sense, good job, @Root Princess. Kaito, do you have any words to say?”

[Owner]: ”Eh?! It’s all slander! I need her because of her profession as a good teacher!”

Looking at Aika, who stared at his face directly, and all the anger from his girls, Kaito was genuinely scared. He is excited about the idea of Minamiya Natsuki being their newest English teacher, and Kaito also knows how competent she is as a teacher just from how she always protects her students in her world plot.

Not to mention she’s a space user ability! That alone is something Kaito would get excited about, as the chat group would feel more secure the more they got space users around!

...

[Railgun Girl]: ”A good teacher?”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”So she’s also a very smart member? We have 2 smart new members now.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”I understand your aincrad city has a shortage of teachers, but please use better phrasing next time, Kaito.”

[Owner]: ”I am so sorry.”

[Witch of the Void]: ”Umm... I am indeed a teacher, although I do my best to be a good one. But why do you need me?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”That’s because this guy is currently building a city full of a million little girls who haven’t been in school before... and they seriously need an education.”

[Witch of the Void]: ”???”

[Alien Princess]: ”???”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Out of context, this sounds terrible, doesn’t it?”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Unfortunately, it does. hahahaha!”

[Alien Princess]: ”I am sorry, but I don’t understand what’s going on!”

[Owner]: ”Then I guess we can start explaining to these 2 new members.”

...

Looking at Aika’s comment in the chat group, both Minamiya Natsuki and Lala Satalin Deviluke get even more confused about what’s happening and why a city full of a million little girls.

After that, each chat group member then tried their best to explain what’s going on with the cursed children and about their world, which at the end earned respect from both of the new members.

...

[Witch of the Void]: ”That kind of world... better just destroy it.”

[Alien Princess]: ”I don’t understand. If they were protected by their young, why do humans discriminate against them and hate them?”

[Owner]: ”Neither could we, princess. But at least our business in that world is over now; it’s just us slowly killing all the Gastrea creatures in that world.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”That’s right. The progress has been slow, but we should be able to clean it in less than a year.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”A whole planet is too big to cover after all.”

Although Manaka has summoned a dozen servants to help finish the task faster, it took a while to destroy all the Gastrea creatures throughly without causing too much destruction to the civilization. After all, when the Gastrea creature is gone, human in that world need to rebuild their civilization all over again.

...

[Witch of the Void]: ”I see. So this chat group is a place where everyone from different worlds hangs out, and sometimes they save other worlds?”

[Owner]: ”You are not wrong about that. All of our tasks, especially group tasks usually related to saving or changing the world for the better.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Or change our future for the better.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”That’s the case. That’s why I really like it here.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Me too.”

[Alien Princess]: ”Saving another world? Sounds amazing! I want to visit another world too!”

[Owner]: ”You could. Anyway, how about we make a banquet to greet the new member in the base world? Although I wonder if our group chef would mind about it.”

In Kaito’s opinion, getting new members is something they should celebrate, especially when it opens more worlds to visit in the future.

...

[God Tongue]: ”I don’t mind at all. I also want to meet new members. Some Elite Totsuki graduates in the base world should also be able to help me.”

[God Tongue Secretary]: ”I am also ready to help.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Me too. We haven’t met for a while, right?”

[Root Princess]: ”Since the chef and our super maid don’t mind, then I wouldn’t mind.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”I agree! I definitely won’t refuse good food.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Sure, it’s a good idea, so why not? I also craved a good food after intense activity last night.”

[Owner]: ”Then, it is decided! @Alien Princess, @Witch of the Void. You can ask the system in the chat group to transfer you to the base world when you are ready! It’s also free!”

[Alien Princess]: ”Umm! Let me prepare! I also want to use this chance to escape from my planet and my father!”

[Witch of the Void]: ”I need to talk with the authorities to let me have a day off first from work, and then I will be ready to visit.”

[Owner]: ”Sure! Just teleport close to me when you guys are ready!”

...

After it was decided they gonna have a banquet to greet the new m, members, Kaito and Aika quickly went back to their respective homes to prepare themselves. Although they were reluctant to leave their love nest, both of them knew they couldn’t miss this event, as both were de facto leaders of the chat group.

This is also going to be their official chat group meeting after the base world has its first cities, and this fact is also worth celebrating on its own.
