Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 494: Chapter 66: You Come Down

”Are you sure the Dark King is here?”

Su Xiao stood before a bottomless vertical shaft, black fog swirling within.

”I’m sure, the Dark King only sleeps within the Source of Black Mist. Where’s my reward?”

The Wild Boar kept a distance, seemingly very afraid of the shaft.

Su Xiao had already been deep in the Black Forest for ten hours. Thanks to the Wild Boar guiding him, he hadn’t encountered any danger. During this time, he had seen the Undead.

The so-called Undead were merely humans or beasts whose bodies had already withered.

Su Xiao had tried to kill one of the Undead but ultimately failed. Beheading or crushing had no effect on them. Even if their bodies were smashed and lost combat strength, that didn’t mean Su Xiao could kill them.

Perhaps only incinerating them with fire could completely eliminate the Undead; otherwise, even a single finger could continue to move.

The strength of the Undead was quite weak. If there were about a thousand, Su Xiao could break through. But if their numbers reached over ten thousand, he would be overwhelmed by a Human Sea Tactic.

After a moment of hesitation, Su Xiao took out five Reincarnation Marks, and the Wild Boar excitedly rushed forward.

”Wait.”

Su Xiao didn’t hand the Reincarnation Marks directly to the Wild Boar.

”You won’t get these marks until I see the Dark King.”

The excitement faded from the Wild Boar’s face, and it nodded.

”Find a big stone and throw it down. When you hear a scream, then give me the marks. I need to get away quickly; the Dark King can control my actions.”

The Wild Boar didn’t seem to be lying, so Su Xiao found a large stone nearby.

He hesitated. Would this really wake the Dark King? In movies, aren’t there usually some seals to be undone first? Just throwing a stone felt too reckless.

”Hey, buddy, what are you thinking? Throw it.”

The Wild Boar looked at Su Xiao in confusion.

”Nothing.”

Su Xiao dropped the large stone down the shaft, and the black fog inside stirred.

Thud.

A dull sound echoed from inside. About ten seconds later, an enraged roar was heard.

”Who tossed the stone?”

Su Xiao’s mouth twitched; he’d actually awoken the Dark King by throwing a stone.

”Give me the marks.”

The Wild Boar’s body trembled, and the red light flashed in its entirely black eyes.

Su Xiao took out the five Reincarnation Marks, which the Wild Boar grabbed in its mouth before turning to flee, as if lingering would allow the Dark King to control it.

Black fog surged within the shaft, and Bubu Wang poked its head to look down.

”Who threw the stone!”

The roar came from below.

”Woof, woof woof~ (I did.)”

Bubu Wang understood the current situation. Jumping in would be a foolish act; drawing the Dark King out was the best choice.

Unexpectedly, the Dark King seemed to understand Bubu Wang’s barking.

”A dog? And a high-level creature? How could such a creature be in the Black Forest? Unbelievable.”

The Dark King paused momentarily, then his voice turned icy.

”Come down to meet your death!”

An invisible wave spread out, causing Su Xiao to feel a blur in his mind that took a few seconds to clear.

Bubu Wang began walking slowly as if about to jump into the shaft. Seeing this, Su Xiao rushed forward and kicked Bubu Wang on the rear.

”Ow~.”

A yelp escaped Bubu Wang as it regained clarity. It almost got controlled by the Dark King to jump into the shaft.

”Woof woof woof (You come up).”

Several seconds after Bubu Wang barked, a voice replied.

”You come down.”

The Dark King really could understand Bubu Wang, which greatly surprised Su Xiao. If judged solely by the sound, he too wouldn’t fully understand Bubu Wang’s meaning.

”Woof woof... (Come up if you dare.)”

”Come down if you dare.”

The Dark King was different from the ’Big Demon King’ expected, lacking any villainous demeanor.

”Move.”

Su Xiao lifted a large stone and approached the shaft, and under Bubu Wang’s satisfied gaze, tossed it into the shaft.

Boom!

A rumbling erupted from below, and stones burst from the shaft’s opening, flying dozens of meters into the air before falling.

”Only weaklings who dare not come down throw stones.”

A mocking voice echoed from the shaft, but a smile appeared on Su Xiao’s face.

According to the earlier Wild Boar’s description, although the Dark King wasn’t the boss of the Black Forest, he was a leader-level creature. Hiding in the shaft and not daring to emerge indicated just one thing: the Dark King had just awoken and was still weak.

”Woof.”

Bubu Wang looked at Su Xiao, clearly suggesting: ”Master, I suggest we pee into the shaft.”

Su Xiao admired Bubu Wang’s creativity a bit, patting its head: ”Not a bad idea.”

Bubu Wang glanced down the shaft, confirmed the Dark King wasn’t coming up for now, and began urinating into the shaft.

Several seconds later, agonizing screams of anguish echoed from below.

”I’ll skin you alive!!”

Clank, clank, clank.

Climbing sounds emanated from the shaft, black fog gushing out.

Bubu Wang retracted its neck, sprinting toward a large tree and nimbly climbing it, activating its divine skill ’You Can’t See Me.’

Bam.

A pitch-black large hand grasped the shaft’s edge as Su Xiao drew his Dragon Slash from his waist. There was now a simple choice: either he killed the Dark King, or the Dark King killed him.

A black-skinned man with bulging muscles climbed out of the shaft. Standing about three meters tall, bald, with black mist elegantly swirling about him, large iron rings were fastened at his knees and shoulders, embedded with rivets.

The Dark King glanced at Su Xiao, scanning the surroundings.

”Where’s that dog? Speak, and I might spare your life.”

”...”

Su Xiao took out the ”Eye of Havana” to examine the Dark King’s information.
