Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Glass fragments spun and fell towards the ground, meanwhile, the virus suddenly spread, but in an instant, everything slowed down, and then, everything seemed to rewind, slowly restoring to its original state, under Mokuhara Genki and Shihou Souki’s astonished gaze, everything restored to its original state.

”How is this possible?!”

At this point, Mokuhara Genki couldn’t help himself, he grabbed the bottle floating in the air, desperately trying to do something, but the glass bottle, which seemed fragile just now, was now like it was cast in iron, floating in the air with no effect no matter how Mokuhara Genki pulled.

”Normally, I respect the elderly and cherish the young, but you’re an exception.”

Looking at Mokuhara Genki in front of him, Fang Zheng clasped his hands behind his back, his gaze cold. If it was just an ordinary old villain, Fang Zheng could just give him a quick kill and send him home. But Mokuhara Genki was different, he led countless inhumane brain development plans, accounting for eighty percent of the dark research in Academy City, either directly under his responsibility or related to him, thousands of children suffered inhuman traumas because of him. To merely let such a person die seemed far too lenient to Fang Zheng.

Normally, Fang Zheng should send him to the eighteen levels of Hell, but he won’t do that. Firstly, Fang Zheng’s Divine Domain doesn’t contain eighteen levels of Hell; secondly, Fang Zheng is the God of Magical Girls, even if there is a Hell, it’s prepared for magical girls who have gone astray. You, an old coot, want in? No way!

Keep dreaming!

But how should I kill him? Preferably a bit cruel, a bit painful... that’s it.

”Let’s do it this way.”

Thinking this, Fang Zheng whispered to himself, then looked at Mokuhara Genki with a slight smile.

In an instant, Mokuhara Genki lost consciousness.

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself lying on an operating table, surrounded by several researchers in white lab coats. He could even see his own students and subordinates among them.

”Well then, let’s start the first experiment.”

”Yes.”

After exchanging a few words, the researchers extended their hands, picked up the scalpel, and slowly cut into Mokuhara Genki’s brain. As the scalpel pierced, Mokuhara Genki immediately felt intense pain, he opened his mouth wanting to scream, but found he couldn’t make any sound. In fact, Mokuhara Genki couldn’t even move, he could only endure the heart-wrenching pain, being butchered.

What, what is this?

Right, it must be some kind of mental control...

Thinking this, Mokuhara Genki felt his brain instantly clear up.

Indeed, mental control, maybe that young man used some method to control me in turn. But it’s okay, as long as...

However, Mokuhara Genki couldn’t continue his thoughts, because the next moment, intense pain struck again, interrupting his thoughts.

After that, for Mokuhara Genki, it was a nightmare.

On the operating table, like a pig unable to resist, he was cut open from head to toe by a group of people. Normally, such pain should have made him faint. Yet Mokuhara Genki couldn’t faint, no matter whether he wanted to scream, shout, cry out in pain, or wail.

He could do nothing but endure the pain, however... this pain was unbearable.

In the next moment, the scene changed.

When Mokuhara Genki regained consciousness, he found himself in another scene. At this moment, he lay in a medical pod, outside he could see researchers in white lab coats.

”Now, let’s start the ability induction experiment.”

As soon as the words fell, Mokuhara Genki felt a stream of electricity madly piercing through his brain, his blood starting to boil. Instinctively wanting to struggle, resist, yet none of it worked, he could only continue to endure the pain...

”...What’s wrong with him?”

Shihou Souki stood up, looked at the blank-eyed old man drooling before him, and frowned.

”He’s experiencing firsthand.”

”Experiencing?”

”Yes, I had him experience all the experiments he led personally, based on his memories. I don’t think there should be any mistakes.”

”This...”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s answer, Shihou Souki frowned, understanding Fang Zheng’s words, but also feeling increasingly incredulous.

”Are you an ability user from the Psychic System too?”

”I can do similar things, it’s just that I don’t often use them.”

Fang Zheng waved his hand, then looked at Shihou Souki.

”Alright, can you tell me what happened now?”

”...Don’t you know?”

”Generally speaking, I don’t wish to probe into others’ privacy, although it would be easy if I want to.”

As Fang Zheng spoke, he extended his hand, and with his motion, Shihou Souki saw an enormous book magically appear and land in Fang Zheng’s hand in astonishment.

”This is the Omniscient Angel Ratziel, simply put, with this book I can know anything about any place, any person, in any world, including whatever you are thinking about now, what you have encountered in the past, all can be known clearly. It’s just that usually I only use it against those deemed as my enemies.”

”Oh.”

Upon hearing this, Shihou Souki revealed a playful smile, proudly placing a finger on her lips.

”Does that mean, Mr. Fang Zheng, you haven’t recognized me as an enemy yet?”

”From my observations, although you are quite reckless in using your abilities, you are still self-disciplined. Besides, with your ability, knowing others’ true thoughts or altering their feelings to make them your best friends and slaves wouldn’t be hard either.”

”...”

”If you were that type of person, then you would’ve gotten to Kuroko Shirai and them long ago. Even without brainwashing memories, by implanting suggestions deep in their brains, you could skillfully manipulate, even use them to destroy Misaka Mikoto.”

”Uh...”

Upon hearing this, Shihou Souki twitched the corner of her eye.

”Why do you seem more familiar with such matters than I am?”

”Because, in the world I’m from, there are quite a few people with abilities like yours.”

Fang Zheng shrugged his shoulders, in the Main World, although the Enchantment School is somewhat troublesome, it’s seen as just one of the particularly special mage groups. After all, the Enchantment School’s abilities are quite powerful, but not entirely unsolvable, in this regard, it’s quite similar to Shihou Souki’s psychic abilities.

”Your world?”

”We can discuss that question later; for now, let’s talk about the present... Tell me, what grudge do you have with Mokuhara Genki? I can somewhat guess the motive and reason why this guy launched an attack today. After all, under the reforms of Academy City, the Dark Side and those inhumane experimental institutions have all turned into old mice in the sewers, effectively severing Mokuhara Genki’s lifeline. That guy is going all out for something as trivial as LV6 and is naturally unwilling to give up if he loses resources.”

Fang Zheng chuckled at this point.

”So they probably think of trying to take the entire Academy City hostage and then force me. If I’m not mistaken, the remaining forces of the Dark Side and the Mokuhara Clan should already be attempting to control various important places in Academy City by now.”

”You’ve guessed all that and still have time to come here?”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Shihou Souki widened her eyes in amazement.

”Aren’t you afraid they’ll succeed?”

”Of course not.”

Facing Shihou’s inquiry, Fang Zheng reached out his hand.

”Miss Shihou, do you know why I dissolved the Dark Side?”

”...?”

”Because, you see, I have beings a thousand times more useful than the Dark Side. Compared to them, the Dark Side is just learning to walk like a baby.”

Indeed, at that very moment, beneath Academy City, thousands of Aliens were flowing in the darkness, hidden in the shadows, rapidly darting out in all directions.

To eliminate the enemy.

”...Alright, now let’s stop talking about those tedious matters.”

Fang Zheng glanced at Mokuhara Genki, who was convulsing non-stop, foaming at the mouth.

”Miss Shihou, I want to know the reason you got involved in this. I’m sure it’s not to help me, right?”

”Of course.”

Upon hearing this, Shihou snorted unhappily and turned her head away.

”If I had known it was you, maybe I might have joined the enemy!”

Just thinking about that kiss made Shihou Souki furious.

That was her first kiss; he took it away so rudely!

And moreover, he even put his tongue...!

”By the way, aren’t you going to save Misaka Mikoto? Her situation is far more troublesome than mine, and it seems that old guy’s target is Misaka Mikoto and her sisters...”

”Oh, I see.”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng nodded.

No wonder the Mokuhara Clan would attack the research institute; though sending Little Misakas to the institute was confidential, to Mokuhara Genki, who is essentially the dark curtain of Academy City, it certainly wasn’t a secret. So the Mokuhara Clan attacked the research institute mainly to kidnap the Little Misakas?

Hehehe, they probably don’t know that the Little Misakas have long gone to another world.

”But it doesn’t matter, Misaka Mikoto isn’t in any danger anyway.”

”How can you be so sure?”

”Look at your watch.”

Shihou Souki doubtfully took out her phone and glanced at the time on it.

”11:25:34, is there a problem?”

”That’s right, it’s now 11:25:30... and it will forever be, so we have plenty of time to explain everything.”

”What’s your inten...”

At this moment, Shihou Souki seemed to realize something, her face suddenly turning pale.

”You mean...”

”That’s right, I’ve stopped the time of this world, except for you and me... Mm, and one other person; everyone’s time is paused at this second.”

Fang Zheng spread his hands; he is now a Deity, and possesses the Order Seal of the Goddess of Order. If it were in the Main World where the system led by the Goddess of Order dominates, stopping a world’s time might still be quite challenging, but in this world, which is just an incomplete fragment, having the Order Seal means controlling the underlying code. So not to mention stopping time, even if he plays this world to the point of creating a glitch like in The Matrix of Hackers, it won’t be a problem.

By the way, even Kamijou Touma’s Fantasy Killer is of no use; his Fantasy Killer is merely a product of the system’s power allocation of this world, whereas Fang Zheng currently controls the backend of this world. If Kamijou Touma agrees, Fang Zheng could even directly transfer the ability of the Fantasy Killer from him.

For him, this is completely not a problem.

The only one not affected by this is Tokisaki Kurumi, even if just a clone, her attribute is time, and Fang Zheng gave her permission, so Tokisaki Kurumi certainly need not worry about being imprisoned by Fang Zheng’s time stop.

”Just what... are you?”

At this moment, Shihou Souki looked at Fang Zheng as if staring at a terrifying and colossal primordial beast.

”That question, I’ll tell you when the time is right in the future.”

Fang Zheng shrugged.

”But please answer my question first.”

”...Can I refuse to answer?”

”That’s not possible then.”

Facing Shihou Souki’s refusal, Fang Zheng sighed.

”So, let’s take a look.”

The next moment, Fang Zheng opened the Ratziel in his hand, then closed it with a ”snap”.

Instantly, the scenery in front of Shihou Souki changed.
