Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1183 -697: Ganging Up on the Elf

The noise grew louder.

Baimu and Helena exchanged a glance and bypassed the scattered Wild Pokémon peering inside to approach the location of the water source.

The water source appeared with a structure similar to a well.

To facilitate the drinking of Wild Pokémon, N had specially dug a channel downwards, and the Pokémon could easily draw water by simply moving something like a water pump lever.

“Everyone, calm down! Stay calm! What exactly happened?”

Helena held great prestige among the Wild Pokémon, and her mere presence caused many Pokémon blocking the path to slowly move aside.

Yet, there were some indifferent ones.

Such as the Aggron from the Baimu Family, and a few Lycanroc who were in conflict with them.

Despite being surrounded by other Pokémon, the Aggron showed no signs of retreat, and the Mawile sitting on its shoulder looked at all Pokémon other than its companions with a contemptuous gaze.

A bunch of arrogant fools!

“Awooo—”

The wild Lycanroc felt provoked, fiercely revealing its sharp teeth.

The Hydreigon gazed maliciously, its three large mouths simultaneously opening ready to roar —

“Stop!”

“Halt.”

The two humans present spoke up simultaneously.

Helena looked at the Aggron and nearby Pokémon exuding a heavy air and an implicit sense of danger, and advised, “Everyone, talk things through slowly, there’s no need to fight!”

In the animated version, she shared the same ability as her non-blood-related brother N: the power to understand the hearts of Pokémon.

Thus, Helena knew that despite the Aggron’s calm exterior, it might rush toward the Lycanroc any second.

“Baimu, help me persuade your Pokémon, not to start conflicts with everyone.” She sought help from Baimu beside her.

Baimu shook his head, “Sorry, Miss Helena, I have to stand by my Pokémon. At most, I can stop them from making the first move, and this situation isn’t their fault.”

He walked straight to his Pokémon’s side.

For Pokémon with a strong sense of territorial instinct, outsiders settling without permission naturally needed to be driven away.

Though Aggron has a mature personality, owning a mountain has always been its dream, and it truly cannot tolerate the existence of strangers in its territory.

He was a little puzzled: “What was N thinking? Knowing this mountain range is Aggron’s territory, why settle Wild Pokémon here? The water issue shouldn’t be difficult for him to solve, right?”

The initial reasons Aggron chose this mountain were threefold — it could plant trees, there were mineral deposits inside, and it had springs.

Tree planting goes without saying.

Mineral deposits are an optional presence for most Pokémon.

Springs… The Pyrite Town area indeed lacks water resources, but underground water isn’t exclusive to this mountain range, given how well Steelix can dig, isn’t finding water quite simple?

From the number of Wild Pokémon present, though numerous, upon counting they’re only about a thousand, indicating that this might not be the only water source around.

Upon hearing this, Helena replied with a hint of embarrassment, “N… he’s not good at interfering with Pokémon’s natural selection, the Lycanroc gathered here spontaneously. N actually tried to dissuade them.”

Pokémon’s natural selection.

Baimu understood after she said that.

It’s merely that these Wild Pokémon couldn’t stay elsewhere for various reasons, and despite warnings that they cannot live here, shamelessly they settled anyway.

What’s critical is, N’s style ensures he won’t use force against Pokémon.

And Aggron has long been absent, while Steelix focused solely on greening the mountain range, seeing so many Pokémon gathering only made it happy, thinking they’d help further the greening.

After all, first, it has no territorial instinct, and second, it never considered the mountain range as an exclusive territory forbidding outsiders from entering.

Having previously lived mixed with other Wild Pokémon, Steelix naturally couldn’t comprehend Pokémon with strong territorial instincts and thus couldn’t possibly drive them away.

Of course.

The main responsibility lies with Baimu.

N had mentioned to him about a certain number of Pokémon settling near the mountain range, while he had objections, he kept pondering resolving it upon his return.

Remote control from Hoenn makes problem-solving difficult, inadvertently ignoring an idiom: “Accumulated burdens are hard to resolve.”

The Wild Pokémon, not seeing the true owner of the mountain for a long time, now engaged in greening, naturally developed a sense of home for this mountain range.

When they start to breed, getting them to move will be challenging.

If this situation reached a human court, under overseas law, it’s likely the mountain would be granted to the settled Wild Pokémon.

“…”

Baimu pondered solutions.

If there were only dozens of Wild Pokémon, convincing Aggron still had a high probability, but currently, there are already over a thousand Wild Pokémon living here!

Aggron would never agree to let a mountain, it hasn’t lived on even one day, be occupied by so many Pokémon.

He turned, pulled the obviously displeased Aggron along with other Pokémon, and they gathered into a circle to discuss quietly.

Helena sighed regretfully, preparing to persuade other Pokémon to relocate.

Since N chose to manage all Wild Pokémon, then this matter falls under his responsibility, being unable to decisively force them to leave is akin to lazy governance.

“Listen to me, everyone—”

Though they cared for Pokémon, they weren’t shameless enough to help Wild Pokémon stay on other Pokémon’s territory to this extent.

Moreover, they already knew about the daytime confrontation between N and Shanren, and with the current difficult situation, it’s hard to continue living peacefully in Ore if they also fall out with Baimu.
