Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1178: Chapter 694: A Heap of Trainees_2

A previously influential person said.

The others murmured, but ultimately did not openly oppose.

——

Pyrite Town people generally have good physical fitness.

When the Fury crew called Otsuka and others to jog on the ship, they were amazed at their extraordinary endurance.

This is the same for the arena Trainers.

Baimu was very pleased that the idle life of the past six months hadn’t made them lazy.

The pity was.

Most people didn’t remember the key point of staying in sync with Pokémon, at first they might pay some attention to the Pokémon, but then gradually they just ran on their own.

”Keep up with the Pokémon! Running so slow, do you enjoy watching their butts?”

”Slow down! Your Pokémon can’t catch up with you!”

”Don’t just watch the road! Look at your Pokémon! Give it some encouragement or a response!”

”Watch the road! Didn’t you notice you’re about to crash?”

Baimu felt like a driving school instructor, and many arena Trainers were complaining amidst their panting.

How many years has it been since they were last scolded like this?

No one dared to mess with Pyrite Arena under Ying Yuan’s protection, and few of the past forces in Pyrite Town would speak to them like this.

If it weren’t for Ying Yuan, Ying Ma, and Kendall running silently, they probably would have stopped by now.

A few, feeling angry, ran haphazardly, and their accompanying Pokémon were out of sync.

”...”

Baimu took in everyone’s expressions and actions in the field.

The ages of these arena Trainers ranged from twenty to thirty, those who followed Kendall in bending over were mostly the older ones.

Of course, there were also younger ones among them.

Currently, there was a noticeable difference in attitude towards the synchronized running between the two groups.

Without a doubt.

Running like this will only lead to more and more resistance.

And throughout all the arena Trainers, only five had a good rapport with their Pokémon, and they would receive the positive feedback from synchronized running the earliest.

If they could keep pace with other contents, they would gradually widen the gap with others.

”Talent, is it?”

Baimu pondered this question, his steps consistently maintaining a safe distance ahead of Cheng Hong, Mawile mirroring his actions in an astonishing way.

Whether raising a hand, lowering it, stepping with one foot, or looking at something.

As if a soul shared by two bodies.

Ayana glanced at him and the coordinated Mawile, then looked at the wobbly running Quagsire, speechless and choked.

The more she wanted to learn from Baimu, the more she noticed the gap between them.

Six months...

What on earth had he gone through?

Ayana was momentarily distracted, almost stepping on Quagsire’s big fat tail, but thankfully withdrew her foot in time.

And as if Baimu had eyes on the back of his head, he turned and said to her: ”Keep your distance, stay focused. Be careful not to trip getting too close!”

”...Okay.”

Ayana suppressed the urge to kick someone in frustration.

Half an hour later.

Baimu announced the end, Ying Ma and the arena Trainers immediately collapsed, panting heavily, while Otsuka and others stood, hands on hips, wiping sweat with proud grins.

They were already used to this intensity of training.

”Today was collectively for an initial experience; from now on, every day will be like this, but you will schedule your running time or distance based on you and your Pokémon’s condition.”

He said to everyone: ”Next, we’ll start the second lesson — basic Pokémon battle knowledge, add me as a friend on Pokeline, I’ll send you some e-books about battle knowledge.

”Read each one! It’s very important! If you can’t identify which Pokémon used what move and just blindly battle by instinct, you will always remain the lowest level Trainer! By the way, I will quiz you on the content and hold tests.”

Tests?

Many people were confused, isn’t this just like going back to school?

The Rescue Organization once tried to persuade them to go to school to learn some knowledge and skills, but they, accustomed to being combat personnel, refused.

In the past six months, it’s not like some haven’t secretly looked for work, but there were generally requirements they couldn’t meet.

There are also low-entry jobs, but being used to the life of combat personnel, asking them to do some physical labor again...

”Baimu Boss, I, I can’t read.”

Someone shamefully raised their hand.

Baimu was slightly stunned, instinctively looking at Ying Yuan, he couldn’t believe Pyrite Arena, once a top-tier force, had members who couldn’t read!

Ying Yuan didn’t respond, quietly glancing at Kendall.

So Kendall raised his hand, calmly saying: ”Baimu Boss, I don’t know many words either, is there another way to acquire battle knowledge?”

”...There is.”

Baimu glanced over everyone, the arena Trainers feeling his gaze all lowered their heads, ”But before that, could those who can’t read raise their hands.”

A few hands were raised here and there.

Perhaps there are more who couldn’t read but didn’t raise their hands, but even among more than fifty people, having about ten who couldn’t read was enough to give him a headache.

This is troublesome.

Why did he assume they were all literate?

Baimu thought it necessary to apply to Shanren for a certain amount of funding — to buy video versions of basic Pokémon battle knowledge!

”I understand, we’ll pause for now.”

He nodded: ”In the next one to two months, I’ll be enhancing everyone’s battle abilities, I can’t promise how effective it’ll be, as this is my first time teaching others how to battle.

”By the way, I won’t force everyone to participate, those who don’t want to can pretend not to hear when I call for gathering.”

Many people’s eyes lit up at these words.

Ying Yuan frowned, Ying Ma anxiously got up from the ground, quickly saying: ”Baimu Boss! Baimu—ouch!”

The kid tripped with a great flop.

Baimu patted Ying Ma’s shoulder, saying: ”Do your stretches properly, careful not to get cramps. I’ll come back in the afternoon, continue what you usually do.”

Saying what needed to be said, he left with Ayana and others.

Just as they were about to exit, Kendall caught up from behind, reaching out and calling: ”Baimu Boss, wait!”

”What is it, Kendall?”

Baimu turned back.

Kendall softly said: ”Why did you say it’s not mandatory... you could have required everyone to participate, Boss Ying Yuan would definitely support you! Even if they’re reluctant at first, once it takes effect, they’ll certainly admire you.”

”But why should I do that?” he smiled as he asked back.

Kendall was taken aback, ”Didn’t you say you wanted to cultivate a batch of trial students...”

Baimu shook his head, saying: ”I didn’t say how many trial students I wanted, I have my own things too, I can’t spend all day in the arena, why should I force those who don’t cooperate? They tire me out more, just properly training those who cooperate already consumes a lot of my energy.”

”...”

”I know as their former superior, you want to lead them to revive the arena’s glory. But you also need to understand, those who can’t face reality will only hold you back, you know the changes in Pyrite Town better than I do these past six months.”

Baimu earnestly said: ”If you are not willing to accept this, you can learn from me and then teach them, it would not differ much.”

Kendall listened silently to his words, completely convinced that Baimu was not interested in the arena.

He awkwardly asked: ”You really want to take us to challenge other arenas?”

”Of course.”

Baimu, backlit by the splendid sunlight, seemed to be clad in a radiant golden garment, lifting his hands slightly as he calmly said: ”The arena is just a starting point, the future holds the Battle Mountain, considered a Trainer’s Holy Land, and powerful Trainers in the outside world yet to be discovered.

”My aim is the summit of the world, a small arena isn’t worth me stopping for.”

”Baimu Boss...”

Kendall was momentarily speechless, just silently watching Baimu leave with the cheerful Otsuka and others.

A few seconds later.

Ying Yuan came to his side, asking: ”How is it?”

”Big brother... the arena is just too small for him, or rather, Pyrite Arena never even existed in his eyes. This place can’t hold him.”

Kendall said with a bitter smile.

Ying Yuan sighed, ”True, but he’s willing to come to the arena to teach battles, so maybe there is some anticipation? This is still his hometown after all.”

”Perhaps...”

”Please persuade those younger ones again, they’ve already wasted half a year, they can’t afford to waste more.”

”Of course, it’s what I should do.”
