Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1176: Chapter 693: Charging Boar_3

”Moo!!”

It howled powerfully, fearlessly charging at the Garchomp, which was covered in azure Dragon Flame, transforming into a roaring Energy Giant Dragon diving down!

At this moment.

The two collided like the mythical fire dragon and the majestic star in the universe!

Boom——!!

Accompanied by a glaring flash.

The earth-shattering, terrifying explosion and the milky white shock wave instantly swept through half of the arena, blowing the spectators on the periphery off balance!

The ongoing tremor of the ground was even more terrifying than the previous Earthquake!

Once they steadied themselves and looked again, they suddenly saw a small mushroom cloud slowly rising from the smoke-filled battlefield.

The surging energy formed an intertwined flame stream spreading within the mushroom cloud.

”...”

The arena trainers were dumbfounded, while the foreign trainers cheered exuberantly, and Ying Ma frequently rubbed his eyes.

Ying Yuan and Ayana remained expressionless, their eyes deep.

Only Otsuka and others wanted to say:

Is that it? Is that it?

It still doesn’t compare to a regular clash between Baimu and Genji at sea!

As the mushroom cloud gradually dissipated, many arena trainers began to worry about the situation inside, knowing no one understands the damage Pokémon can cause better than the Pyrite Town People.

It must be known that Kendall and Baimu were in the field, and being so close, hit by the ripple of Pokémon techniques...

Facts proved.

Their worries were unnecessary.

As the smoke cleared mostly, Kendall and Baimu respectively appeared, each gazing at their Pokémon and the opposing Pokémon.

Mamoswine and Garchomp had somehow already withdrawn a distance apart, panting and looking at each other, their bodies covered in obvious scars, unable to hide their fatigue.

Clearly, the earlier clash had exhausted the majority of their energy; now it’s just about who will collapse first.

The spectators also realized this, watching the battlefield nervously.

Suddenly.

Garchomp staggered and half-knelt, wincing from pain on its right cheek.

With palms sweating from tension, Ying Ma widened his eyes, and suddenly the words Baimu had previously said echoed beside his ears, making him instinctively shout:

”Stand up! Garchomp!”

As a Trainer, one should trust their Pokémon the most.

Garchomp won’t lose!

Hearing this, Baimu turned and smiled at him but said nothing.

Then.

The Mamoswine across fell like a collapsing mountain, plopping down limply, its eyes swirling into black spirals.

Garchomp stood up fiercely, letting out an exhilarating roar: ”Garchomp!!”

”We won!”

Ying Ma raised his hands high, cheering with excitement.

The foreign trainers also cheered and laughed as they applauded.

Many arena trainers, like defeated fowls, were dejected and disheartened, although some watched Baimu, who walked to Garchomp’s side to commend it, with a thoughtful look.

Inside the arena.

Baimu smilingly pat Garchomp’s back lightly, the latter grinned broadly and nuzzled his cheek with its head, even though it paused for a very long time in the middle, the battle was quite enjoyable.

”Next time, let my Pokémon battle you too, remember to give it your all like this time!”

”Garchomp!”

Garchomp nodded.

Baimu retracted his gaze and walked toward Kendall standing by Mamoswine, saying as he approached, ”Please don’t take my previous lecture too seriously, Mr. Kendall. I’ve always thought you’re a Trainer with great potential, just like your Pokémon.”

”No, you’re absolutely right. I just got angered by having my shortcomings exposed and was too proud to recognize my own position at such a time. Clearly, Mamoswine had been waiting for me, but I only responded to it at the last moment.”

Kendall shook his head, softly stroking the scar without hair on Mamoswine’s back, saying, ”This guy is very foolish, foolish enough to only know how to charge recklessly, but it was just such a fool, once—no, countless times—saved me.

”In the past, I neglected my feelings for it due to the pursuit of money and status, taking it for granted as I ignored it. It wasn’t until these past six months that I gradually began to understand many things I previously couldn’t, yet I still can’t let go of the past.”

”Moo~”

Mamoswine suddenly stood up, rubbing its tusks against Kendall’s leg. Those eyes, black on a white base, were filled with dependence on Kendall.

”Have a good rest. I’m sorry, Mamoswine, next time we will definitely—”

Kendall paused mid-sentence.

With a reckless mindset, he rushed onto the field to call Mamoswine, wanting to indulge once for its sake. But that sentence made him suddenly realize.

He actually wanted to win; it was the mindset of hoping to turn the tide that made him rush in.

Baimu extended his hand with a smile: ”Let’s have another battle next time! With the goal of winning!”

”...Okay.”

Kendall smiled cheerfully, showing some openness on his face, shook hands with Baimu, and then solemnly bowed ninety degrees, shouting: ”Mr. Baimu, I was disrespectful just now! I deeply apologize! Please be magnanimous! Forgive me this time! And please kindly share your battle knowledge from the outside world!”

The words were quite sincere.

If Ore had a tradition of prostration, he would probably already be on the ground.

Looking at Kendall, who had lowered his head deeply to show regret, Baimu was about to say something when many arena trainers also came running over from a distance, bowed ninety degrees to apologize, and then requested his guidance.

Encircled by them, he glanced at everyone and helped Kendall up.

”Rest assured, that’s exactly why I’ve come, and I accept your apology. Let’s work hard together! In the future, we’ll challenge other arenas and Battle Mountain together!”

”Oh oh oh!”

Otsuka and others hurriedly joined in, unwilling to miss their leader’s rally.

Ying Yuan, watching those former subordinates, flashed a look of comfort on his hitherto silent face.

About a dozen arena trainers left unmoved showed complex expressions, struggling yet stubbornly resistant, turning their heads away as if they hadn’t seen.

Foreign trainers looked at the bowing individuals and nodded approvingly.

Kendall straightened up, his expressions calm.

He had thoroughly abandoned the foolish pride of his past position as the second-in-command of the arena, deciding to move towards a brighter future, regardless of others’ taunts.

Such things no longer mattered.

The arena was already nominally defunct; how many in Pyrite Town would elevate him like before?

Kendall laughed at himself, left the field to get a towel to wipe sweat and dirt.

Unexpectedly, just as he was heading to the rest area, several foreign trainers actively approached him, showing friendly smiles: ”Hello, Mr. Kendall, nice to meet you. I am from the Sinnoh Yanshan Consortium...”

”I’m from the Unova William Group...”

”Kanto Chunyanshan Society...”

A few in succession introduced themselves, leaving Kendall stunned by what he heard.

He was aware of these companies; they were among the top overseas enterprises offering recent support to Pyrite Town. He didn’t expect that people frequently renting the field for battles, who seldom interacted with arena trainers, were actually management from these enterprises!

Such prominent origin!

”A truly splendid battle, Mr. Kendall. Just as Mr. Baimu said, you’re a very exceptional Trainer! Never expected to meet someone like you far in Ore!”

They spared no praise.

Kendall pointed to himself, ”Me? Exceptional? But I didn’t win a single match.”

”The outcome of a win or loss isn’t the crucial factor, but your heart that desires victory and calls out to the Pokémon in the arena. Although that might be considered a misconduct, I must say it was truly moving.”

”Indeed, willing to go this far for victory, for Pokémon, it’s rare even outside!”

”With someone like you, I believe the arena will definitely thrive in the future! I’ll recommend this place to others!”

”Good idea! When the company sends the next batch of people, let’s hold a gathering, shall we? Once again set it here, ah! And Mr. Kendall must come to participate...”

The foreign trainers spoke one after another.

Kendall’s lips quivered, unsure of what to say.

When he refused the arrangements by the Rescue Organization solely to preserve his own face, that dignity was already thoroughly lost.

However, when he discarded what little pride was left and bowed to a young man for guidance, those foreigners, previously seen as proud and incongruous with others, flocked around him eagerly.

Too ironic.

Kendall couldn’t help but glance at Baimu from afar, finding him speaking earnestly to those beside him. Then he looked towards his leader Ying Yuan, who sensed his gaze and nodded slightly to affirm.

I see.

A renewed arena, huh?
