Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 694: Chapter 474: Sibling Bombardment!!

The old residence of the Da Wu family.

Baimu watched the bustling Hoenn Champion change back into a suit and drive away.

It’s said that De Wen Company has just discovered ruins on an overseas island. It’s still uncertain whether they’re related to the Legendary Giant Stone, but they’ve given Da Wu, who ate humble pie at the Cosmic Center, a new direction to pursue.

Hence, he wasted no time in starting his journey.

”Busy... busy...”

Baimu was somewhat regretful. If he didn’t have a ton of things to do himself, he really wanted to join Da Wu in the excitement.

After all, the chance to observe Mega Rayquaza up close isn’t something you see every day, let alone the battle of the Sea, Land, and Air Three Divine Beasts... maybe borrow Hoopa for a bit and sneak away the Legendary Giant Stone?

Also save Fladari from creating more trouble later...

There’s potential!

Baimu cradled the Corsola, gently stroking its smooth shell, and as he combined his earlier conversation with Da Wu, he gradually recalled some things in his mind.

[The Legendary Giant Stone].

Something closely linked to the main storyline of the XY animation.

Fladari, head of the Flashing Flame Team in the Carlos Region, specifically sent Ailan to the Hoenn Region to search for it, trying to use it and the Zygarde Z2 core to destroy most living creatures in the world, leaving only humans and Pokémon he selected.

In the end, of course, they didn’t succeed.

Although Da Wu was involved in the storyline, his actions were more like a stand-in, moving from the Hoenn Region to the Carlos Region, always chasing after the Legendary Giant Stone.

At this moment, through his own explanation, Baimu realized that Da Wu mainly sought the Legendary Giant Stone for [∞ energy].

This thing is claimed in the game to be a Special Ability converted from Pokémon Life Energy, also called ”Living Energy,” and De Wen Company hopes to greatly develop this energy to benefit the world.

Of course.

As the forefront of research and development in the Hoenn Region, De Wen Company naturally wouldn’t crudely extract energy directly from Pokémon. After generations of research, they set their sights on Key Stones and Super Stones.

After all, Super Evolution not only brings physical changes but also endows Pokémon with immense energy.

Interestingly, no matter how Pokémon use moves after Super Evolution, the energy for the next Super Evolution remains abundant. De Wen Company understood this peculiarity, which is why they chose to study Key Stones and Super Stones.

De Wen Company has been seeking the source of Super Evolution and finally learned of the Legendary Giant Stone through ancient records and a half-piece of a wooden tablet with information. Hence, they began further investigation into it.

To this day.

It seems the day when Da Wu, the lion-headed one, and Ailan find the Legendary Giant Stone is not far off.

Strive to finish his own matters quickly, then take the opportunity to thwart Flashing Flame Team’s plot. Don’t be fooled by how nobody seems hurt in the animation; once the stone Zygarde goes on a rampage, half of Lumiose City will be brought down. It’s impossible for nothing to happen.

Baimu thought of this and patted the shell of Corsola, energetically saying, ”Get up! Train! We need to aim to join the first echelon!”

Corsola: ”...”

Why does it feel like there’s been more overtime recently?

Need to bring back some ”bonuses.”

Fully embodying the principle of equivalent exchange, the diligent worker Corsola contemplated what it should ask for—the donut from yesterday tasted pretty good.

It looked at the enthusiastic Hydreigon rushing outside, thinking if it could beat this guy, maybe it could ask for two...

Hmm?

Something’s not right, definitely not right.

It actually developed an active desire to battle!

Corsola suddenly realized a very sad fact—it’s not only gotten used to the daily work life, but even for overtime, instead of resisting, it got ideas about striving harder for bonuses.

Its heart was filled with despair, just after despairing for a while, it became too lazy to despair any further.

Tired.

Better let the world be destroyed sooner.

It rolled over on the spot, returning to its slacker posture.

——

”Tsk, still not working?”

Baimu removed his hand from Dragapult’s head, feeling somewhat unhappy, but when he met the latter’s cautious gaze, he quickly remedied, ”I’m blaming myself, not you.”

The more he interacts with this guy, the more he realizes it’s actually very introverted. On the surface, it seems cold and hard to approach, but in reality, it just seems not good at interacting with other Pokémon.

Thus, it always likes to quietly hide and watch others, a sheer ”lurker.”

So far, besides Brother Dragapult in the team, probably Blissey interacts the most with it, albeit the frequency of communication is not high.

Luckily it’s there to mediate, preventing other Pokémon from thinking there’s someone even more ”arrogant” than Mawile in the team.

But what’s really going on in Dragapult’s head remains a curiosity for Baimu.

Unfortunately, no matter how he experiments, the suspected Super Overcoming Power Special Ability hasn’t triggered again to bring him back to that mysterious mind world.

It was meant to speed up his bonding with this guy, yet ironically Lugia completed mind communication with him sooner instead...

Baimu thinks perhaps between him and Dragapult, there’s a lacking element.

What is it?

Compassion? Care? Love?

Feeling like he’s not lacking any of them—

Forget it, there’s always time.

When encountering problems that can’t be quickly solved, Baimu always advises himself not to be impatient. After all, there are other matters to attend to, can’t stick to just this one issue.
