Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 669: Chapter 462: Maternal Love Tactics

Xiaofeng undoubtedly possesses certain Coordinator Trainer talents.

Enough can be seen from the performance involving Scizor’s sharp blades and wooden stakes that she has invested considerable effort in them.

However, like Baimu at first, she turned a gorgeous battle into a fight... well, a bit excessively, since the latter at least knew smoke was taboo.

But Xiaofeng, was completely unrestricted.

It was only natural for her to lose against him, who had just mastered the essentials of gorgeous battles.

”Wonderful performance, thank you for expanding my horizons again.”

The composed and poised Xiaofeng shook hands with Baimu, with no visible regret on her face from losing.

Which Trainer hasn’t lost before? Though unwilling, most people don’t become discouraged by a minor defeat. Just like Raihan never won against the Dan Emperor and Mei Rong but each time before a battle, he would provoke the Dan Emperor.

Overcoming setbacks is just like that.

It would be best for Xiaofeng to win a ribbon in the Shuijing Conference as her debut. Even if she couldn’t win one, she felt satisfied learning from the latter.

”Next time if there’s an opportunity, let’s battle again!”

”Absolutely, absolutely.”

Baimu’s expression was as usual, but he thought that who knows when they would meet again next time. Not to mention meeting Xiaoguang in Kaina City, even in Kanaz City when encountering the pink-haired dual-horse Wula La, both sides had words for continuing with sparring in other Gorgeous Competitions.

Yet they never met even once in the small Hoenn Region.

Xiaofeng opened the door and left; and on the television screen, the second match of the second round concluded as expected—

The winner was indeed the Masked Messenger Kimimaro.

Years passed, not mentioning Xiaoyao, known as the Hoenn Dancer, he too was no longer what he used to be, not only possessing Dusknoir as a trump card but also showed a powerful Illumise just now.

Don’t be fooled by how he only aimed to complete the Illustrated Guide in the games; except for die-hard fans, hardly anyone would use it. Kimimaro, by utilizing the animation context and the uniqueness of gorgeous battles, managed to defeat the opponent’s Delcatty with Illumise.

The myriad gorgeous techniques exhibited elegance, also served as a reminder to Baimu.

Not to be underestimated.

Kimimaro is actually a year ahead of Xiaoguang; he watched the previous two gorgeous battles as well, perhaps not so strong in terms of battle power but the changes in techniques were extremely spectacular, even stunning.

”Be careful.”

He turned to Blissey to say, which nodded its head in agreement.

It’s hard to get to the third round, getting overturned would cause trouble and easily disrupt the previously set rhythm.

——

A moment later.

Baimu appeared amid thousands of cheers.

Kimimaro positioned far away, swayed his cloak with flair, attracting numerous cheers and encouragements.

On the big screen, two huge avatars and round score charts appeared simultaneously.

Vivian stood outside the sideline, loudly announced: ”Third Round First Match—Final, limited to five minutes, no pause during the match, begins!”

Thump!

With a short loud bang, the countdown began.

Both sides did not hesitate to simultaneously throw out their Pokeballs.

Boom boom!

Vivid musical notes sketched into a melody, transforming into the leaf-crowned, dignified and solemn Blissey, hands clasped in prayer and eyes closed, resembling a statue of a goddess.

Dusknoir emerged from the misty clouds, its scarlet single eye glowed piercingly, creating an atmosphere of extreme mystery and pressure.

The two Coordinator Trainers and two Pokémon gazed at each other, simultaneously thinking:

Seeing up close, there’s certainly something about it!

Though it was the most basic entry show, everything pays attention to detail; if the entry show that highlights first impressions wasn’t done well, this Coordinator Trainer surely wouldn’t be qualified.

”Ghost Fire!”

”Strong Mental Will.”

The two quickly issued orders, with both Pokémon promptly taking action.

Undoubtedly, Dusknoir was the first to act, extending its wide palm, two clusters of ghostly violet flames spontaneously ignited, making its body turn obscure as if the flames absorbed all light.

In the next instant.

The two clusters of flames were flung out, splitting in midair from two to four, four to eight, eight to sixteen... in the blink of an eye transforming into a torrential firestorm rushing towards Blissey!

Many spectators couldn’t help but exclaim, and Baimu’s score was duly deducted quantitatively.

However, without a doubt, he, adept at defense and counterattack, was already well prepared.

Blissey’s eyes gleamed with blue light, invisible Spiritual Power vibrated the air, suddenly a glowing point of blue light appeared in front of it and rapidly expanded in all directions, when the firestorm approached, the blue light had already formed a solid wall.

Crackle crackle crackle crackle—

Like raindrops on a lake, the light sound reached the ears of judges and spectators, the dense Ghost Fire vanished like mud bulls into the sea, only causing ripples before disappearing.

Not a single scratch on Blissey behind the blue wall.

Vivian couldn’t help but excitedly explain: ”Look! Blissey’s Strong Mental Will is like Copper Wall and Iron Wall, as messy as the Ghost Fire, it simply can’t approach it!”

The defense form of Strong Mental Will!

Perhaps people from other regions aren’t quite familiar with this application method, but Hoenn People know defense form of Strong Mental Will as Champion Da Wu’s specialty, countless powerful attacks have been blocked by this move, yet due to its high difficulty of variation, ordinary people just clash directly.

Now being employed by Blissey, the Hoenn People present inevitably felt invigorated, cheers and encouragement grew stronger.

On another front.

Blissey’s calm response resulted in Kimimaro having more points deducted.
