Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 658: Chapter 456: Legendary Clue_3

The Starmie of the Psychic user and Lulina’s Quagsire were at a stalemate, with the former trying to entangle the latter, but the latter slipped away with its slimy exterior, making it impossible to catch.

After a prolonged deadlock, both sides had to switch Pokémon again.

This time, Lulina played her ace, bringing out Drednaw and triggering Gigantamax, aiming to swiftly break through and knock out one of the Psychic user’s Pokémon.

Little did she know the Psychic user had long been waiting, ready for her to Gigantamax, and immediately sent out Orbeetle and used Gigantamax, executing a combo of Gigantic Defense Wall, Gigantamax Celestial Dao Seven Stars, and Gigantic Defense Wall.

This directly dragged Lulina’s strongest reliance, Gigantamax, into a stalemate, while setting up a subplot for the Flying Attribute Pelipper—the gravity effect.

This round, although Orbeetle was left half-wounded, the momentum shifted to the Psychic user, who quickly expanded the advantage, taking down three of Lulina’s Pokémon in succession.

Subsequently, Slowking was used to replace Lulina’s Golisopod, and Starmie was used to replace Pelipper, allowing Galarian Rapidash to come on stage, aiming to take down Drednaw at the opportune moment.

Unfortunately, in a formal Pokémon battle, human-horse unity is not allowed, preventing the Psychic user from riding, thus Galarian Rapidash’s ”full strength” failed to manifest and was knocked out by Drednaw’s Double-bladed Head Hammer.

But it did contribute to paving the way for Hypno’s appearance.

Facing the waning Drednaw, Hypno was cautious and, under the Psychic user’s command, unleashed its ultimate move—True Qi Fist!

[Your Hypno hit Drednaw’s vital point to not let you down!]

Baimu: ”...?”

Accompanied by bgm, this scene feels quite thrilling, but with a Psychic Attribute Pokémon???

Alright, let’s not dwell on it.

[You defeated Lulina and successfully advanced to the next round]

Baimu took a deep breath; next should be Bea, this girl is tough to beat...

On screen, a handsome young man with dark skin and an orange headscarf appeared in front of the Psychic user.

[You: ...]

Baimu: ”...”

Death grouping! It’s over! Why didn’t Mei Rong take this guy down!

Alright, alright, already in the semifinals, shouldn’t expect too much.

He sighed and watched silently as the Weather Child Raihan tortured the Psychic user with three types of weather alternately.

Whether this guy has Champion strength is up for debate, but he definitely bullies the Psychic user enough, really lacking in sporting spirit!

Even with Raihan still using Gigantamax Duraludon in the end, taking down six of the Psychic user’s Pokémon at the cost of only three.

And reaching this point, Baimu felt that the Psychic user’s initial strategy came too early.

[You lost to Raihan, halting in the Champion Cup semifinals]

[You are not entirely satisfied with this result, but you feel you haven’t let your Pokémon down, and as you prepare to leave, Luozi finds you]

[You once again hear that question—do you like the Galar Region? This time you answered yes, but faced with Luozi’s invitation to stay and become a Gym Leader, you chose to decline]

[You said you haven’t visited many regions yet and don’t want to settle down too early, also expressing that you can’t adapt to the life of a Galar Gym Leader—daily interviews, and TV appearances are too difficult for you]

[You bowed to Luozi with a regretful expression, pondering where to travel next]

[Simulation ended]

”Uh...”

Baimu stretched lazily; this simulation lasted longer than previous ones, mainly due to the Gym battle having added bgm, which slowed progress.

Nonetheless, it was very interesting; usually only in hypnosis scripts does Hypno have such a macho individual.

Let’s see the gains.

He looked at the rewards.

[Fixed reward: Move Tutor×7 (attribute can be specified)]

[Fixed reward: Psychic user’s Psychic training memory—Summary (can browse repeatedly)]

[Fixed reward: Hypno’s Fighting move memory—includes all learned Fighting skills (can browse repeatedly)]

[Choice reward two: Legendary Pokémon clue (limited to below 600 species value)]

[Choice reward three: Skill—True Qi Fist (can be selected for Pokémon to learn)]

Baimu rubbed his eyes, then rubbed again.

Whoa!
