Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 663: Chapter 459: God’s Courtyard

Bang!

The Pokeball opened.

Azure musical notes floated out, circling the central circle like a ribbon of light, slowly outlining a soft pink figure.

The light dimmed.

A Blissey appeared, dressed like a Muse Goddess.

Its cute and glamorous attire caught the eyes of the audience and judges, eliciting praise and laughter.

Adorning Pokémon with various accessories and clothes in the Gorgeous Competition is very basic; some may simply wear a headpiece or scarf, while others can go as far as dyeing their fur and skin different colors, like a Furfrou from the Carlos Region.

Right now, Blissey’s ”official” certified outfit hit the aesthetic mark for most present, especially for Miss Joy, whose eyes were shining like spotlights, and her hands that had been resting neatly on her lap were now on the table.

Evidently anticipating Blissey’s performance.

Baimu didn’t disappoint them; at some point, he had a guitar in hand, and as Blissey slightly closed its eyes, holding its tiny hands in front as if ready to sing, he immediately started playing.

Thrum~

The tune began as a gentle breeze, then turned into a melodious song.

In an instant.

Everyone in the venue felt an unseen and gentle hand brush their ears like a dragonfly skimming water, calming the slightly anxious Heart Lake of anticipation.

An ethereal voice...

The voice Blissey had honed through diligent practice easily captured the hearts of nearly all the audience and judges.

Although it wasn’t a Pokémon like Jigglypuff or Altaria, born with an excellent voice, Blissey’s years of practice combined with the move ”Sing” with its Hypnosis effect elevated its singing to an extraordinary level.

Like a kingfisher skimming water, like an oriole singing.

How wonderfully exquisite!

The audience... no, the listeners’ eyes were dreamy, their heartstrings rising and falling with Blissey’s melody; many planned to close their eyes to savor it, but then saw countless golden notes mixed with a neon-like light screen appearing like elves.

They danced around the singing Blissey like musical notes, the colorful, shimmering light adding to the brilliance of the notes, dreamlike and fantasy-like, accompanying the serene song, making people unconsciously enchanted by it.

”It’s the second concerto: Divine Courtyard!”

Some knowledgeable audience member identified the piece, eager to share.

”Shh!”

Someone nearby glared at him, treating the Gorgeous Contest like a concert, unwilling to miss even a segment of the song.

Suddenly.

The melody soared, the song grew louder.

Like dawn breaking, the vibrant spirit of everything awakening resounded around everyone through the clear song,

A gentle breeze came from nowhere, moving the elf-like adorable notes, sending them to the audience and judges, quivering like living creatures.

In the front row, Bei Lingyin reached out to the golden notes close at hand, but the scene changed dramatically as he touched the golden notes.

Suddenly, amidst the ethereal song, a miraculous and splendid courtyard unfolded like a scroll before him, tiered architecture as white as ivory, statues of Pokémon Gods situated in the courtyard center, their dignified faces conveying a sense of calm.

Endearing Pokémon frolicked here, crystal clear spring water nourished the verdant plants, reflecting the crystal clear light with the bright sun.

”The Divine Courtyard...”

Bei Lingyin’s voice trembled, tears streamed from the corners of his eyes for some reason, such a vivid scene drew the side glances of those nearby, and they too reached for the golden notes involuntarily.

At that moment.

The same beautiful courtyard appeared before him, the vivid scene made him yearn, unwilling to leave.

Nearly everyone in the venue felt the same, the three judges already lost in that Divine Courtyard, enjoying the ethereal song and playing with their favorite Pokémon, unable to extricate themselves.

Unfortunately, such a scene did not last long.

The originally uplifting melody gradually became subdued, the golden notes in front of the audience slowly flew into the sky, and the dreamlike sensations they felt were punctured, left looking wistfully or reluctantly at the departing notes.

As if the angels ushering them to heaven were leaving.

Why so fleeting?

If only it could last a little longer...

Many felt this, their eyes fixed unblinkingly on the retreating notes.

In a daze.

Colorful lights blossomed, the golden notes shattered like momentary fireworks, turning into a splendid stream of light, forming a broken golden powder cascading down, like a grand golden meteor shower, a blend of beauty and shock, symbolizing the conclusion after brilliance, the end of all.

Shattered to dust-like, softly landing on the audience and judges, leaving them in a dreamy state of mind.

The song and gentle melody both ceased.

The performance concluded, ending.

”Happy~”

Blissey turned and exchanged a glance with Baimu, then both bowed towards the audience and judges.

Yet they awaited feedback in vain.

They raised their heads, finding everyone still savoring the aftertaste of song and notes, in a state of remembrance.

Some even closed their eyes, trying to keep the previous scene in their hearts.

This put Baimu’s mind at ease.

But Blissey, unable to fully understand the situation, was inevitably a bit anxious, worried it hadn’t done something right just now.
