Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 664: Chapter 459: God’s Courtyard (2)

The focus of today’s performance is singing while using Strong Mental Will to bring in a breeze to move the notes, then manipulating the notes with Magic Brilliance to detonate them, turning them into a shower of golden meteors...

The difficulty is several times that of Mawile performing techniques while dancing, and now its legs are starting to tremble after the performance.

”Don’t be afraid, listen.”

The Trainer’s voice echoed beside its ears.

Then came the applause, carrying reverence, congratulations, admiration, excitement, applause that could overturn the entire hall!

No one needed to shout, the entire audience was already standing, desperate to use all their strength to make the Coordinator Trainer and their partner hear them. The judges also stood up early, either with fervent enthusiasm or uncontrollable applause, Miss Joy’s smile was almost breaking.

Blissey watched the scene in a daze, clear tears welled up from its eyes.

These were tears of happiness.

It knew the hard work and expectations had meaning, and it had achieved its deserved results, not disgracing the Trainer and Mawile.

It succeeded!

Battle, performance, life! Trifecta Pokémon!

Blissey is the ace!

”Happy!” The Pink Giant Egg raised its right hand, its expression solemn, as if finally proving itself.

And its actions brought cheers from the audience.

After the applause, the audience couldn’t hold back anymore, loudly shouting Baimu and Blissey’s names, soon becoming like a private concert for the latter two.

Mind you.

Some really called for an encore, leaving Vivian at a loss.

Encore at a Gorgeous Competition, really?

”Blissey, you...”

And Baimu looked at Blissey, full of Athena’s divine warrior aura, feeling a bit helpless.

Remember, when it first evolved, Blissey was also in this ”I am supreme” mode. Unfortunately, within a few days, it reverted to the slightly insecure Giant Egg.

Again it happens, probably will again next time.

Insecure—Confident—Insecure—Confident, what an awkward creature you are.

He rubbed Blissey’s face, the latter froze for a moment, then started laughing, ”Hapi hapi.”

No more wasting time.

Under Vivian’s guidance, they smoothly entered the evaluation stage.

Mr. Patistan still stood with the microphone and said with deep sentiment, ”Following Mawile’s astounding dance, Mr. Baimu has brought us a song that feels like my soul has been baptized. It’s not uncommon for performances using illusions to evoke feelings, but like Blissey’s, forgive my ignorance, it’s the first time I’ve experienced it.

”So please allow me to describe this performance as unprecedented, a shame that viewers behind televisions can’t experience the power of Blissey’s singing, a regrettable situation. Such a performance should be experienced by people worldwide! But...”

”Thank you, Mr. Patistan, indeed, this performance is a pity that it can’t be shared with friends behind televisions,” Vivian, full of smiles, stood before him, blocking the camera and handing the microphone to Mr. Liu Lai.

”Please, Mr. Liu Lai, make your evaluation for us.”

Then she covered her ears.

But Mr. Liu Lai didn’t shout as usual; instead, he stylishly tossed his bangs. Amid Vivian and many spectators’ surprises, he directly tore off his shirt, turning around to reveal four large characters on his back.

Splendid!

He proudly looked at the camera, utterly unaware of having done something bizarre, while this silent evaluation appropriately expressed his satisfaction with the performance.

Vivian’s smile almost broke, fortunately, as a professional host, she held on, ”Please, Miss Joy, give your evaluation on Blissey’s performance.”

Miss Joy held the microphone, gazing at Baimu and Blissey on stage, until both of them nervously lowered the microphone, she made a heart gesture with both hands, saying, ”Love you, Blissey!”

Unbelievable!

In the past, Miss Joy always praised the Trainer, but this time she only praised the Pokémon!

Vivian and many spectators’ faces showed surprise, and they were curious about the upcoming score, wondering what kind of score could match this ”world-shocking” evaluation?

”Please score!”

She gestured grandly.

Beep, beep, beep.

The score appeared before everyone, causing a stir.

9.9/9.9/10.0

Total of 29.8 points! Blissey broke the record set by Mawile!

Perhaps partly due to the upcoming grand Gorgeous Competition, but Blissey’s outstanding performance couldn’t be ignored. The two complemented each other, achieving this astounding number!

In previous animations, scoring full marks wasn’t unheard of, but that era is different from this era.

Baimu hugged the joyful Blissey, elated yet started worrying about what kind of performance Milotic should present at the Mikoli Club to capture Mikoli’s heart.

It’s challenging.

This time, Blissey’s performance was already very difficult, not solely a fusion of song and techniques, which is merely the surface, but the core of this performance was—

Illusion.

Using [singing] power and the melody, along with the audience’s and judges’ imagination, to drag them into a fantasy realm, constructing a Mirage-like beautiful courtyard, then letting it vanish like a fleeting illusion, stirring a sense of longing.

Undoubtedly, this was a more abstract performance compared to Mawile’s dance, something that non-present spectators couldn’t truly grasp.

This is why Mr. Patistan described it so.

Probably already causing an uproar online?

Upon first glance, the performance might seem like a trick or clever ploy, but in reality, pairing song with divine courtyard illusion wasn’t as easy as imagined. The most direct truth was Baimu and Blissey had similar initial thoughts since Meteor Village and eagerly practiced, investing more time than previous ”hurriedly prepared” occurrences.

Blissey is clearly talented in singing, far exceeding its cooking where it learned techniques that could create severely poisonous dishes, praised by Altaria teachers from Meteor Village.

Baimu also taught the soprano technique learned from Jigglypuff to Blissey, although he didn’t quite understand it himself, but seeing Blissey learned Giant Sound in Verdanturf City, seems like it mastered it.

”Star Singer Blissey.”

He rubbed the curved curl on this guy’s head and asked, ”Wanna remove your crown?”

”Happy!”

Blissey shook its head decisively, this is its combat suit, how could it casually take it off!

——

Just as predicted by the judges and Baimu.

On blogs, his performance quickly garnered a corresponding entry——

[New Star Coordinator Achieves Again, How Should Illusionary Performances Be Rated?]

It thoroughly described the sensations brought by Blissey’s performance, starting from note illusions to the divine courtyard illusion after touching the notes, filled with terrifyingly detailed content.

Undoubtedly written by some spectator improvising on-site, unrefined yet enough to spark a massive reaction.

Everyone knows that the performance live experience by a certain New Star Coordinator vastly differs from online experience. This distinction emerged since the second Kaina Conference and was maximized in this Shuijing Conference!

Unlike spectators impacted by the singing feeling as if in fairyland, television viewers only felt two points——

One, it sounded nice.

Two, the utilization of techniques was okay.

Failing to grasp the finesse of combining both, and particularly upon the final golden meteor shower, couldn’t evoke that feeling of melancholic absence.

This led to many struggling to comprehend why Mr. Patistan and others rated it so high, sparking disputatious topics.

Once it started, more people became aware, and Baimu’s fame began rising crazily.

Just like those past life news, without controversy it has no heat.

When Baimu returned to the break room, his phone transitioned from silent mode to vibration mode, buzzing like a mini motor continually.

Simply terrifying.
