Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 681: Chapter 468: Facing the Sea God

Aluo!

Are you serious!

Baimu only felt his hairs standing on end; if this Lugia turned into Shadow Lugia and lost its mind, could he withstand it with his current strength?

Hardly!

Even if it wasn’t the only existence in the world, the power it possessed was undeniably strong.

Besides, if Lugia couldn’t handle black technology, could it really not handle a mere Trainer?

Seeing the large bird’s silver-white feathers gradually turning pitch black in the distance, he instantly recalled the truth that when a boss starts transforming, it’s time to run, so he turned on his heels and sprinted away.

But just after two steps, he found Porygon II foolishly staying in place.

”Damn! It’s waiting for the transformation to finish, what are you waiting for?”

In frustration, he turned back and scooped it up into his arms, thinking that a few minutes ago, this dead duck seemed to have matured, yet it was still so foolish.

Do you think you’re a camera? Shadow Lugia can destroy the world, yet it can’t hurt you.

The Mawile on the other side didn’t need any reminding, as it had charged back and forth with the Shadow Pokémon in the past and knew all too well not to provoke it lightly.

The Dreepy Siblings lay obediently on top of his head, not moving an inch.

One person and four Pokémon ran with all their might.

As Baimu took each step, alongside the painful roars of Lugia, a short sound, unlike a human voice, echoed in his ears. It wasn’t until he had run over a hundred meters that he realized it seemed to have cried out, ”Help me.”

But when he tried to recall it carefully, it seemed blurry.

He didn’t think much of it.

Mainly because he wasn’t Ash Ketchum, who could escape death due to the plot’s favor, diving into the energy between Mewtwo and Mew, and withstanding attacks from various Cover Gods.

Suddenly.

He halted slightly, his pupils expanding a bit, as what appeared before him was a large, uneven, devastated clearing in the forest. From the various marks on the ground, it was easy to tell they were caused by powerful moves and impacts.

Obviously, each time after transforming, Shadow Lugia would come here to vent...

No wonder there were no wild Pokémon nearby!

They must have all been scared off!

Baimu’s mouth twitched slightly as he picked up his phone to contact Balza or Mei Yali, urging them to get Hoopa to pick him up quickly, or else there’d be nothing left but a pile of wreckage.

Just as he was taking action, the wailing behind him turned into terrifying roars.

”Woo... Roar!!”

”Chidorr!”

The shout of Mawile and the screeching of the air exploded beside his ears.

Boom!

In the midst of the ground shaking, Baimu suddenly felt his vision blur, and he found himself back by the stream, with a half-black, half-white giant bird resembling a ragged bird in the nearby sky, spewing massive air currents that ravaged the mountains and forests while letting out painful howls.

It sounded particularly tragic.

It had a sight reminiscent of a whale’s lament before its fall.

Looking at that Lugia, Baimu couldn’t help but feel a twinge of emotion.

”Pary!”

Porygon II’s cry snapped him back to reality, realizing it had just used Instant Movement to bring them back to the starting point, successfully evading the first wave of attacks post-transformation frenzy of ”Shadow Lugia.”

Honestly, given its current state, he couldn’t determine whether Lugia had successfully transformed; its half-black, half-white appearance seemed like a failed transformation.

From its cries, it was clear that Lugia’s consciousness was enduring the torment brought by its body’s transformation.

Damn the Shadow Team!

Did the Dragon-Boy ever succeed in purification back then?

Baimu, his head turning gray with stress, truly pitied Lugia, though, at the moment, his power was insufficient to match it. Quick help was the only way.

So he turned, apologized to Mawile and the two Dreepy, and recalled them into their Poké Balls.

Until now he hadn’t been able to master Mawile’s Super Evolution, so his strongest card was still the Super Evolved Aggron.

With its endurance, it should barely withstand a few of Shadow Lugia’s attacks, hopefully holding out until Hoopa’s arrival.

Bam!

”Roar~”

Aggron touched down, and as it locked eyes with the Lugia less than 100 meters away, the familiar aura emanating from Lugia was unmistakable.

Shadow Pokémon!

As former frontline transport, it knew how formidable these creatures were, and thus immediately geared itself up fully.

”Super Evolution!”

”Roar!”

Vast energy, like a tsunami, gushed from the tiny Super Stone, flowing throughout Aggron, causing its appearance to transform at a visible pace.

After a few short breaths, the Land Fortress, glowing with silvery radiance without sunlight, appeared suddenly.

Though Aggron hadn’t shown up in Gym Battles or Gorgeous Competitions lately, it had participated plenty in street fights, relentlessly honing its body over time to inch closer to becoming a real Wall of Sighs.

Of course, it hadn’t slacked off on offense either, excelling in both Physical and Special Attack. If Baimu didn’t hold reservations about its speed, it seemed bound toward an all-around development path.

”Roar!!”

The raging roar turned into a low rumble akin to thunder, successfully drawing the maddened Shadow Lugia’s attention. It first took a deep breath, then suddenly blasted out a storm of turbulent black flows!

[Dark Cyclone]!

Rumble——!!

The forest appeared to collapse and split apart, with numerous trees uprooted and shredded to dust by the storm, the ground furrowed into a deep chasm.

”Defend!”
