Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 659: Chapter 457: Power of Meditation

Seeing this reward, Baimu felt a rush of heat to his brain in an instant.

His breathing became heavy!

Legendary Pokémon! Divine Beast!

Even though there are no shortages of sub-600 racial second-level gods captured by various Trainers in the animation, their rarity still made his heart surge with excitement, unable to restrain himself.

Just like when he encountered Lei Gong before.

To think that the Galar Region’s Champion Cup Top Four could get such a reward, the Orange Talent really surprised him, making Baimu’s hands feel a bit numb.

”Happy?”

A gentle voice sounded.

”Hmm, I’m very happy now... hmm?”

He glanced to the side and saw that a Blissey had, at some point, come to his side, looking up at him with a face full of concern.

”Why are you looking at me like that?” Baimu’s gaze swept around, noticing other Pokémon also showing confused or worried expressions, so he couldn’t help but poke Blissey’s forehead with his index finger, ”Nothing’s wrong, just got excited from reading a book.”

Hearing this, the Pokémon finally calmed down, and the Dreepy Siblings who had been shivering while hugging each other due to the atmosphere, along with the Dragapult hidden in the dark, breathed a sigh of relief.

After the Pokémon returned to their calm states, Baimu’s excited brain quickly cooled down as well.

Looking at the clue reward, he suddenly noticed a difference—

It didn’t display the term ”Can Be Captured.”

In the past, the clue rewards would mention it as the clue to a Pokémon that someone could capture, but the current Reward Two doesn’t mention it, and the type seems random as well.

Hmm...

What does that imply? Could it be possible to encounter a Legendary Pokémon similar to the Three Divine Birds of the Orange Islands, which are already captured or cannot be captured?

In the animation, second-level gods generally exist in multiples, and some are so intertwined with the world that even if encountered, they can’t be captured, as capturing them could mean the end of the world.

Seems like when and how to use this thing needs careful consideration.

Baimu exhaled a breath, looking back at Reward One, the Level 90 cap made him laugh uncontrollably, noticing that the level increase in the simulator seems to come at increments of twenty levels. To be honest, raising a Pokémon to Level 90 would be among the top tier among Champions, wouldn’t it?

Of course.

Level is one thing, whereas growth in various ability values such as Effort Values is another matter entirely.

Such a high reward, he naturally plans to save it, using it around Level 70 would be quite a waste, he thought, it’s better used when Pokémon reach Level 80 at least, then it wouldn’t be a loss.

But he’s unsure if the Orange Talent is a fixed output or a matter of luck.

Baimu quickly selected Rewards One, Two, and Three, and his gaze moved to the fixed rewards at the top, first glancing at the Superpower User line, then the Hypno line.

Awards for tournaments of Champion rank and above will add the ”skills” that ace Pokémon of simulation targets could use.

The Smeargle of calligraphers gave Sketch, the Jigglypuff of musicians gave High Pitch, and Hypno... damn it, actually specializes in Fighting Attribute moves.

Isn’t it a loss without Hypnosis memory!

Baimu secretly mocked, thinking if he could learn Fighting moves from Hypno’s memory, he would be one step closer to becoming a humanoid Pokémon, surely.

He put down the book and walked over to a Mawile who was watching TV with its head down, placing his hand on the latter’s head.

”Cheedo?”

The Mawile turned its head dissatisfied, looking up with a face full of ”don’t go crazy here” disdainful expression, but upon feeling a new surge of power inside, joy was evident on its face, ”Chee~do~”

Its tone immediately softened.

”You little rascal.” Baimu said with a laugh-and-cry expression, pinching its cheeks.

Using someone only when needed, changing expressions as quickly as flipping a book, had he not known Mawile’s true nature, he might have been quite angry.

Mawile didn’t mind the Trainer’s words, carefully putting down its phone and heading outdoors—last time it accidentally dropped it, the screen cracked a little, causing it great distress, luckily, it was only the tempered glass that broke.

On the balcony.

Aggron and Milotic were watching the sea, when all of a sudden, Aggron’s claw got hit by Mawile.

”Cheedo~!”

”Gruor...”

The Big Monster got up reluctantly, knowing this guy learned a new skill again and wanted to use it as a test subject.

No complaints, Pokémon meant for taking punches should take a few more, even though it hurts, it does noticeably increase defensive ability and the will to endure.

Milotic curled up with interest, resembling a clump of creamy white poop.

The Trainer recently kept asking it to do this, saying that after forming a habit, it would likely learn a move called ”Coiling,” which would be very beneficial to it.

On the beach.

Steelix had already returned to Pyrite Town, so only Aggron and Mawile were present.

The two were ten meters apart.

”Chee~~do?”

”Gruor!”

Aggron raised its claw in response, indicating it was ready.

Seeing this, Mawile immediately stomped its right foot on the sand, darting towards Aggron like an arrow off the string, its retracted right fist quickly gathering a white glow, and at the moment of its charge, it struck out—

Snap!

The fully defensive Aggron looked down curiously at the glowing fist nestled in its chest and abdomen.

What’s with the no pain, no itch?

What about the Energy Shock?

Only the Mawile executing the move knew that its right fist was still Charging, trying to figure out why this move had such a long preparation time!

”True Qi Fist is such a move, needing some Charging time for the move to be fully unleashed, and to achieve its maximum energy power.”
