Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 655: Chapter 555: Weather Child! (Part 3)

But this doesn’t stop him, who has already lost ten times in a row, from continuing to challenge the Dan Emperor.

Baimu doesn’t really dislike him; trainers who become braver with each setback are always admirable, like Ash Ketchum, who keeps losing every year but continues in different regions each time.

Among the trainers I’ve encountered, many get lost mid-battle, not knowing how to proceed, but those with firm resolve have never changed their goals, nor stopped advancing.

He hopes that when he hits a low point, he can have a strong mind like theirs.

The scene quickly shifts.

The Simulator speeds up to the opening day of the Gym Battle.

The Superpower User and Raihan appear together. Since the battle mode is double, the former is a bit unaccustomed, but still sends out two corresponding Pokémon—

Starmie and Slowking.

The Dragon Attribute Gym Leader Raihan starts with the single Rock Attribute Gigalith and Flygon, startling the Superpower User from afar; though expected, are you really a Dragon Attribute Gym Leader?

”This guy’s nickname should actually be ’Weather Child’”

Outside the simulator, Baimu can’t help but join in the mockery, as Raihan is arguably the only Gym Leader who particularly loves using weather teams, especially in the game’s championship cup. Not only does he start by setting up with a Torkoal for sunlight, but he also uses Goodra to manually create rain, Turtonator for sunny weather, and Flygon to manually create sandstorms.

However.

The most mockable thing about Raihan isn’t his love for weather, but rather—

”No one in this world uses Gigantamax Duraludon!”

”What can your G-Max Depletion do? Nothing at all, just trash!”

Two voices surfaced in Baimu’s mind.

He silently stared at the simulator. The Superpower User had already relied on the combined power of Starmie and Slowking to take down Gigalith, but Slowking was also knocked out by Flygon’s powerful Lightning Fist.

Both sides are forced to swap in the next Pokémon.

And both seemingly came to a mutual understanding; one sends in Hypno, the other Duraludon, both triggering Gigantification without hesitation.

During the battle, Raihan’s demeanor is extremely aggressive and intense, just like his Dragon-type Pokémon.

Yet the Superpower User is not much better, with an angry expression symbolizing fury appearing on his forehead, glaring at Raihan and his Pokémon.

The two Gigantified Pokémon stood behind them like two massive substitutes, each casting a disdainful eye at the other.

The thrilling clash of giant beasts is about to erupt.

In the end, one used Gigantic Fist Fight, the other used Gigantic Bully; anyway, neither used their type-specific moves.

But when they collided with Gigantic Techniques in the second round, Raihan was at a disadvantage, or he didn’t expect the Superpower User’s Starmie to use Spotlight, redirecting the Gigantic Bully meant for Hypno, including Flygon’s Shattering Bite too.

Leading to the downfall of Starmie, and Gigantamax Duraludon exploded instantly without even releasing a third move.

With the strength doubled by two Gigantic Fist Fights, Hypno smoothly took Flygon down with Giantic Ice, forcing Raihan to bring in the lone Sandaconda.

The result is that Hypno and Galarian Slowbro focused their attack, effortlessly defeating Sandaconda.
