Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 684: Chapter 469: Kunpeng or Peng?

Seek help from the same species.

Baimu suddenly couldn’t quite wrap his head around it.

It wasn’t until he caught a glimpse of the Silver Feather clutched in Nurse Blissey’s hand that he understood Lugia felt the presence of those Silver Feathers from its kin, which prompted it to inquire about the whereabouts of other Lugia.

But can other Lugia help it? Can they purify the Dark Transformation Surgery?

”This Hoopa can help!”

Eager to assist, Little Hoopa raised its hand and exclaimed, resembling a child in kindergarten eagerly responding to a teacher’s call, and without hesitation, began to manipulate the Golden Ring.

However, Lugia didn’t even spare it a glance, still fixed on Baimu, spurting a mist from nowhere, hoping he would quickly reveal the whereabouts of its kin.

This guy seems unaware that Hoopa is truly the one capable of finding its kin.

Understandable.

Without seeing it firsthand or being thoroughly informed, who would believe there’s a Pokémon out there that can effortlessly open portals to anywhere in the world, and even precisely find someone based on specific criteria?

Simply unreasonable.

”Hoopa, hold on for a moment.”

Baimu reached out, stopping Little Hoopa from summoning another Lugia on the scene.

Given the strangeness of the current situation, bringing forth another Lugia would neither solve the problem nor would it add to the chaos unnecessarily, and explaining would be a wasted effort, not to mention it might cause unpleasant misunderstandings...

Even though there’s no need to worry too much about safety with Hoopa around, getting randomly blasted twice is far from a pleasant experience.

Moreover, it’s better to let humans resolve the mess humans created to ease Lugia’s resentment, which could earn a chance for it to one day take a look back at the Ore Region.

In the game, purifying Shadow Lugia can only be done in the Purification Room, but as a new product, the Purification Spray might be stronger, so why make things harder by ignoring the immediate solution?

”Look...”

He organized his words, informing Lugia about the existence of the Purification Spray, and quickly found the not-yet-sleeping Shanren to get a video of a purification experiment on Shadow Pokémon to show Lugia.

Much to his surprise, Lugia sniffed disdainfully, spewing a mist to reject his proposal of using the Purification Spray.

Porygon II translated: ”It still wants to know the whereabouts of its kin.”

Why?

Baimu wiped the water off his face, completely unable to comprehend.

Feeling tormented by the dark transformation for so long, Lugia should be happy to see this thing, yet not only was it unhappy, it was full of resistance.

Thinking it over, it must be something that happened with the Dragon People and Dr. Mu Yin during Lugia’s purification that caused psychological resistance.

”The Purification Spray is so amazing, Hoopa wants some too!”

Hoopa’s words startled Baimu out of his thoughts, but fortunately it didn’t grab one with the ring this time, possibly aware it has an owner.

”This thing only works on Shadow Pokémon, and there may only be one Shadow Pokémon on earth, Lugia, so it would be useless for you,” he advised Hoopa, then turned to persuade Lugia.

His response was another plume of mist, impossible to tell where it came from, only hearing the ”puff—” sound.

Wants don’t want it, unwanted wants it.

What a headache.

Plus, this guy’s design clearly leans more towards the ’Peng’ in ’Kunpeng,’ yet its behaviors are more like a Kun... or perhaps more like a llama?

Speaking of which, telling it about the Lugia Mother and Child’s whereabouts.

This guy would fly off immediately, wouldn’t it?

Really frustrating.

Baimu really wanted to help Lugia, but he also knew clearly that this guy didn’t trust him... or humans, yet it still tried to get the kin’s whereabouts from him.

Finding its kin can solve the problem?

Lugia was equally frustrated; it had long lost all hope in humans, wishing only to stay as far away as possible; if not for the unbearable torment of the dark transformation and the lack of an effective solution, it wouldn’t have sought Baimu...

Honestly, harboring constant wariness towards humans, it pondered if the other party hesitating meant its kin were also captured, wondering if brushing against them would result in getting captured again.

But now, it truly had nowhere else to turn.

Feeling like a contradiction personified, Lugia was utterly exhausted, wishing it could sink into a trench and never rise again, but the occasional dark transformation wouldn’t allow such solace.

How it yearned for a peaceful sleep.

”Hoopa, once again, sorry to trouble you.”

Reluctantly, Baimu asked Hoopa to open a portal to Dr. Mu Yin’s doorstep.

Having no close relationship with him, he couldn’t just barge into someone’s bedroom to haul him up, not to mention Dr. Mu Yin had a wife; it would be quite impolite to intrude.

A bit of effort is necessary.

”You... wait a moment.”

He softly said to Lugia, hesitated a moment, then sent Nurse Blissey to help persuade it, before stepping into the portal.

Hoopa naturally followed along.

Outside the portal.

A crescent-white research institute came into view, lights glowing inside.

”Is this Ore?” It curiously looked left and right, seeing the lush green trees around, exclaimed, ”But there are so many trees here, didn’t Xiaobai say Ore is a desert?”

”Because this is the northwest, constituting only one-fifth of the Ore Region, perhaps even less,”

Baimu pointed to the silhouette of a mountain in the east, ”Do you see that barren volcano? Most of the Ore Region is as barren as that.”

Hoopa squinted to look more closely, wanting to ask more, but turned to see Baimu pressing the research institute’s doorbell.
