Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 683: Chapter 468: Facing the Sea God 3

The fainted Aggron was forcibly pulled out of the ring.

Baimu briefly observed and breathed a sigh of relief.

No big deal.

”Thank you for your hard work, well done.”

He retrieved it into the Pokeball and looked at the mushroom cloud again, only to find that the figure of Shadow Lugia had disappeared. It seemed to have returned to the side of the ravine, trembling gently by the stream.

”Woo...”

[Save...]

The telepathic voice echoed again.

Baimu gazed complicatedly at the tortured Lugia. Regardless of the specific circumstances, he definitely needed to ask the Dragon People who defeated the Second Generation Shadow Team’s leader Sijing and rescued Lugia personally.

Now...

To be safe, he decided to observe for a while longer.

Hoopa seemed to have an urge to go over, but Baimu held its arm.

”Hold your horses, let’s see how things unfold.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the faint whimper from Lugia by the ravine ceased.

He hurriedly looked over and saw Lugia lying on the ground in a state of exhaustion. The black aura that once clung to its body like tattoos and turned its feathers into mottled shades had vanished, as if it had never existed.

Is it over?

He exchanged glances with his Pokémon team and waited for half a minute before daring to get closer.

Hoopa was the quickest, flying to its side and observing back and forth with a worried expression, ”Xiaobai! What’s wrong with it?”

”Darkening... To put it simply, it’s a kind of uncontrollable force that caused it pain.”

Baimu explained softly.

After recently reconciling with Shadow Hoopa, Little Huopa, who had been tormented by it, quickly empathized and flew in front of Lugia, gently shaking its head, ”Lugia~ Lugia~ Are you okay?”

Yet at this moment, Lugia didn’t have the strength to make a sound, it gathered its wide wings, its silver feathers dimmed, lying on the rocky shore breathing painfully, much like a stranded whale.

This sparked an idea in Baimu, wondering if throwing it into the deep sea would help it recover quickly, considering it’s the embodiment of ocean currents.

...Better to assess the situation first.

He slowly approached Lugia, intending to ask Hoopa to bring N over to see what exactly was going on, and brainstorm if there was any solution.

Two minds think better than one, and professional tasks should be handled by professionals.

Just as he was about to speak, the giant bird before him suddenly opened its eyes, its azure gaze reflected his eyes, with an indescribable meaning.

”This...”

Baimu swallowed, for some reason suddenly not wanting to call N over.

Inexplicable.

Did Lugia affect him? It seems like it, but why? Couldn’t figure it out.

Sigh... After all, it’s a Psychic Attribute Pokémon, being mysterious is normal. Its contemporary ”brother” Ho-Oh is also quite mysterious.

He thought for a moment and decided to release Nurse Blissey.

”You have more medical knowledge than I do, could you help assess its condition now?”

”Happy!”

Nurse Blissey nodded. Although it had only interned under Miss Joy for a few months, it already possessed the basic medical knowledge—

Practice makes perfect, during the chaotic times in Pyrite Town when everything was in ruins, what kind of patient hadn’t it seen?

But as it circled around Lugia, boldly inspecting its eyes, mouth, even plucking a feather to check the roots.

During this time, Lugia remained motionless, letting it do as it wished, as if it fainted again.

Unable to discern Lugia’s exact condition, was it sick? Not likely, injured? No signs of injury, exhausted? Obviously!

That simple?

If it were that simple, the Trainer wouldn’t have called me out.

Nurse Blissey felt a bit embarrassed, so it administered the Healing Fluctuation to see if Lugia’s condition could be sorted through elimination.

When in doubt, use Healing Fluctuation.

Unexpectedly, as the pink wave was applied, Lugia quickly opened its eyes, lifted its head as if perfectly fine, observing surroundings blankly.

”Woo...”

Seeing this, Nurse Blissey realized there was nothing wrong with Lugia, it was simply exhausted.

”Happy...”

The Nurse Blissey was somewhat disappointed as it couldn’t showcase its healing prowess. Since helping Baimu win the Shuijing Conference and obtaining the dazzling Ribbon Medal, it increasingly desired to demonstrate all its abilities.

Of course.

Although coveting the ace position, deep down, it couldn’t overtly challenge Aggron like Hydreigon did, aiming instead to exhibit itself as much as possible.

What defines an ace? The Pokémon the Trainer first thinks of in a crisis is the ace!

Blissey firmly believed in this.

But alas, this Lugia didn’t allow it a chance to shine.

It felt a bit dejected.

Meanwhile.

With clear mind restored, Lugia once again focused on Baimu, lowering its slender and graceful neck, as if its earlier vitality had been merely a façade.

”Woo...”

The sound resembling a whale’s call, echoing long and deep, seemed to span miles.

It lay upon the stone, its sapphire-like eyes seemingly moist with water waves, appearing to cry, yet upon closer look, it’s just a normal physiological occurrence for Water-type Pokémon to prevent dry eyes.

Porygon’s translation reinstated.

”You... forget it, is there anything I can do to help you?”

Baimu pondered, choosing to skip all small talk, deciding to directly inquire about Lugia’s request.

The whale-like calls fused with intermittent human voices.

[Save... Save...]

I do wish to save, but I’m unsure how.

Helplessly, he checked his phone, hoping to gather more information from Porygon II, when the gaze of the latter flashed, revealing something utterly surprising.

『Lugia said it wants you to help find its kin to rescue it.』

Kin?

Ah! Lugia Mother and Child?
