Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 656: Chapter 456: Legendary Clues

[You have collected all the badges and gained qualification for the Champion Cup]

The Superpower User officially became the first challenger to qualify for the Champion Cup challenge, and taking advantage of this, quickly rose to fame, being revered by many Galar citizens.

However, before participating in several TV programs or interviews, the Superpower User disappeared.

Only Luozi, who had spoken with him at the Fistgate City gate, knew that this guy had gone to the Wilderness Zone to retreat and nurture Pokémon, intending to adjust his condition to the best before the start of the Champion Cup.

Such things are actually very common.

Even if Luozi didn’t mention it, Baimu had seen Bea, who was beaten into silence by the Dan Emperor, go to the Wilderness Zone to train in the Twilight Wings, almost getting stuck in a pit and unable to get out.

And the Superpower User was also self-aware, having roughly estimated the strength possessed by the Gym Leaders through Gym challenges—

Winning seems very difficult.

[You think to yourself that you already feel considerable pressure to defeat the fully committed Gym Leaders, let alone challenge the Dan Emperor, who is known as the world’s Strongest King, which makes you train even harder]

The Superpower User’s method of nurturing Pokémon was not much different from Baimu’s, he was also as involved as possible.

But he found that the former’s physical strength was far superior, just relying on the Superpower User to stop an onrushing Galarian Rapidash, was not something he could replicate.

Previously, Baimu tried to stop the charge of a Hydreigon, only to be knocked flying, an incident that remains vivid in his memory.

Is Superpower really something that amazing?

Dragon’s Heart can’t do that, can it?

He couldn’t help but recall all of Alice’s actions... This brat’s physical strength and response ability were naturally excellent, like him, the Dragon’s Heart mainly used for communication didn’t provide her any physical aid.

If I remember correctly.

Baimu turned his attention back to the simulation, only to find that the Superpower User, in order to enhance the strength of both new and old members before the Champion Cup began, already showed signs of being ”obsessed”.

What does this mean?

It means that in the current Wilderness Zone, once encountered by the Superpower User, not even a Wild Trainer or a passing Yamper can escape getting put to sleep by a Hypno, then slapped twice.

This was merely to train the accuracy of ”Hypnotic Fist” and ”Wake-up Slap”.

Under such torment, the Hypno had already mastered its soul skill, beating opponents into a pulp, then hypnotizing them, waking them up and beating them up again, so far no one has withstood three rounds.

And Starmie, relying on its many tentacles, together with the soul inspiration gained from a previous fight with a Grapploct, instantly transcended, learning a fake [Octopus Firm], very much like asking every Wild Pokémon it encountered, ”Do you know how a sea star eats?”

As for Slowking, it went on methodically using its Spiritual Nut, having learned a fake [Arm Shell Weapon] from the Galarian Slowbro, since the nut couldn’t be shattered, it kept pounding vigorously.

Regarding Orbeetle, as a noble Gigantamax Pokémon, it is the only receiving entity in the team, specifically responsible for being beaten up—used to find opponents in regular combat, in which it brings its ”head” closer to be hit, a strategy that leaves Baimu both amused and speechless.

The Galarian Slowbro has no particular traits, but the Superpower User believes that its shell on the left hand serves well to rush over and shove into an opponent’s mouth to spray poison, and indeed, it does just that.

Combined with its speed trait, which occasionally increases the speed of its moves, Baimu hadn’t seen a Pokémon yet that didn’t get poisoned by it.

The Galarian Rapidash, which was the last to join the team, yet received the most attention from the Superpower User, probably due to its inherently superior physique and melee capabilities, allowing the Superpower User to sit on its back like an ancient general, charging back and forth tirelessly.

If you gave the Superpower User a spear, he might be able to cosplay as Calyrex at the southernmost tip of the Galar Region.

The scene gradually picked up speed.

[You were constantly keeping an eye on the Champion Cup news, finally, you saw the news at the station that the Champion Cup would be held next week in Palace Gate Arena, and without hesitation, boarded the train]

The Superpower User sat quite calmly on the train, possibly because of the long time out of the public eye, or perhaps other successful challengers had become more popular, the train heading to Wyndon was packed, yet almost no one came to greet him.

Until he got off at the station—

Hordes of media suddenly swarmed over, Baimu watching the simulation of the Superpower User being surrounded by pixelated long guns and short cannons, felt a sense of worry for him.

This is what it means when citizens can’t remember, but the media will remember.

And once the media recognizes him, the citizens’ memories will gradually resurface, with the Superpower User, who was the first to qualify for the Champion Cup using his Superpower as a gimmick, many people had high expectations.

The Champion Cup essentially consists of two parts.

One is the semi-finals, and the other is the finals.

The semi-finals require all participating Gym Challengers to vie for the last seat, only then can they enter the finals directly hosted by the Gym Leaders, and if they ultimately win, they can challenge the strongest Champion, the Dan Emperor.

Therefore.

Exactly as Baimu initially envisioned, as long as the Superpower User reaches the top four in the Champion Cup finals, then he is Four Heavenly Kings level!

And according to this calculation, breaking through the semi-finals is equivalent to winning the regional tournament.

The finals themselves always give an impression akin to participating in a Champion Alliance...

He eagerly watched the light screen, as the Champion Cup was officially being held in the Palace Gate Arena resembling a crimson fleeting flower.
