Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 687: Chapter 470: Super Overcoming Power (Part 2)

And on the main character’s side.

The two were maintaining eye contact on the surface, but their consciousness had already arrived in a golden space.

”How could this be!”

Baimu was extremely shocked by this. Had he successfully used the Dragon’s Heart? But why was the target a Flying and Psychic Attribute Lugia...

Could it be that Lugia had a Dragon Attribute? Or was this a case of being close but not quite?

There was no time to ponder too long.

Because he couldn’t keep the Lugia waiting, in the world of the mind, the latter was surrounded by a black aura, seemingly representing the erosion caused by the dark transformation.

”Listen to my thoughts and share yours.”

He gently pressed his ”hand” on the other’s ”forehead” again, completing a telepathic connection where their wills were shared openly without any concealment.

——The trust in Dr. Mu Yin, the compassion for Lugia, the desire to make Ore Region prosperous, the hope that Lugia could forgive humans, and the absolute determination to succeed in purification.

——The resentment towards Dr. Mu Yin, the misunderstanding of Baimu, the pain from the disasters caused by itself, the unrelenting anger towards those actions, and the confusion, helplessness, and regret in its heart.

Baimu and Lugia ”looked” at each other as their perceptions were constantly refreshed.

The former was deeply relieved that he had not told the latter about the whereabouts of its kin and was also surprised by the self-destructive tendency of a Legendary Pokémon.

Meanwhile, the latter felt some guilt and a tinge of interest, especially when it received the signal ”a miracle will surely happen” from the other’s heart, leading to a renewed desire for life.

It felt that perhaps most humans were unworthy of trust, but at least the Baimu in front of it was absolutely trustworthy.

All misunderstandings, doubts, and conflicts were easily resolved through this exchange of hearts, with ideas being communicated with maximum effectiveness, and all misunderstandings caused by language or misunderstanding were completely erased.

The satisfactory outcome for both parties was thus achieved, turning the previous entanglement into floating clouds.

At the moment when his palm left the other’s forehead.

Baimu couldn’t help but think that this wasn’t the Dragon’s Heart at all; it was clearly the Super Overcoming of Damos and Shina! Could it be that I have the bloodline of Damos?

Hmm...

Maybe the boundary between mind powers is very thin.

Baimu ”opened” his eyes.

”Phew, I didn’t expect things to be resolved like this in the end.” He turned his head and helplessly spoke to the three onlookers.

”Resolved?”

Dr. Mu Yin was suddenly caught off guard; a minute ago, he seemed ready to act, but it was solved in an instant?

”Uh, it’s not exactly resolved. We can only say we’ve reached the best agreement possible.” Baimu lifted his hand as if to touch Lugia’s head beside him, but it froze in midair.

Because he felt it might be a bit impolite.

Unexpectedly, Lugia proactively moved its head forward, allowing his hand to rest on its forehead.

Baimu exchanged a glance with it, peculiarly realizing that he didn’t need Porygon II’s translation to understand what it was thinking clearly.

The power of the mind is terrifying, isn’t it?

”Simply put, Lugia chose ’all of the above’ at my suggestion.” Baimu explained quietly: ”It will accept purification again but also hopes to resolve the issue through the power of its kin.”

Essentially, due to their somewhat extreme thoughts, they turned a multiple-choice question into a single-choice one.

Lugia can completely accept purification again to delay the dark transformation, seek help from its kin, and if that doesn’t work, strive to resolve the issue through the Purification Room and Dr. Mu Yin’s research.

Of course.

This time, the Purification Room has to be large enough to let Lugia spread its wings, and perhaps even fly a bit.

Moreover, during this period, Lugia should be allowed to go out flying or swimming.

The patient actively participates in the treatment, and the ”doctor” actively researches methods, can entirely create the best outcome in this world of animation.

”Great!”

Dr. Mu Yin was very excited, as he had always felt guilty about Lugia’s dark transformation not being resolved and believed that revealing too much about purification to Alina led to Shadow Lugia’s increased defenses.

Now that Lugia is willing to entrust its trust again... even if it’s to Baimu, he is very happy.

Regarding the requirements for the Purification Room.

Is that even a problem?

Perhaps the former Dr. Mu Yin didn’t have much money for his research, resulting in a narrow Purification Room, but now the main administrators of the Ore Region, the Rescue Organization, are incredibly wealthy and would definitely not be stingy with money after hearing the Shadow Team needs to be handled once and for all.

Everyone’s happy, everyone’s happy.

”What should Hoopa do then?” Little Hoopa retrieved its mouth from Blissey, raising its hand to ask.

”Hoopa should naturally do what Hoopa does best—use the rings to transport Lugia.”

Baimu responded without hesitation: ”However, you also have to tell Balza and Mei Yali about it, and also your Desert Tower still isn’t repaired... Take it slow, no rush.”

He turned back to Lugia, ”We’re not in a hurry either.”

”Ooh~”

Lugia let out a long, whale-like cry. Although its dark transformation was far from resolved, its mind was filled with hope after connecting with Baimu like a shot of adrenaline.

How could one not say that the power of the mind is like cheating?

Like in ”Super Overcoming Space-Time,” where Arceus, who seemed intent on destroying the world after being tricked and almost killed, changed heart after a mind connection with Damos.

Eh!

Instantly, it calmed down, with eyes that seemed to understand Damos, leaving him tearful.

Such terrifying power!

”Hoopa likes this!”

Little Hoopa chuckled with glee like the genie from Aladdin’s lamp, always fulfilling others’ requests, especially those that can be solved with rings.

On the other side, Blissey keenly noticed a change in Baimu’s language: ”we”.

Is this a sign of joining new companions?

So big, it seems the Trainer’s logistical burden is increasing again, but fortunately, you have Blissey! Blissey is definitely the most loyal and diligent little assistant for Trainers!

Leave it to Blissey!

The thought of satisfying Lugia’s daily needs and receiving approving looks from the Trainer made Blissey’s tiny wings on its shoulders flutter, as if they were going to take it to heaven.

No!

Its consciousness had already ascended!

”Blissey? Blissey!”

The call of the living world shattered Blissey’s heavenly dream.

It blinked and found the Trainer curiously watching it, ”What are you thinking about, so seriously?”

”Ha, happy~”

Blissey guiltily turned its gaze away, rubbing its small hands on its chest. Though it imagined, it was too shy to tell the Trainer, as that would be too embarrassing.

——

After trying the Purification Spray on Lugia.

Baimu first returned to Desert City Park and introduced Dr. Mu Yin to Balza and Mei Yali, though not needed for N, as he was quite familiar with Dr. Mu Yin—

There was their collaboration during the purification spray deployment throughout Town.

N seemed unsurprised by what happened to Lugia, with a deep, enigmatic smile on his face.

”Did you know beforehand?”

Baimu asked suspiciously; given N’s concern for Pokémon and his composed demeanor in Lugia’s predicament was unusual, plus in terms of mental sensitivity, he’s much more experienced.

”I always believed you could handle everything well.”

N didn’t answer directly, with an expression filled with trust in his seemingly vacant eyes, ”You didn’t disappoint me... Haha, I should say you never disappoint me.”

”Um.”

Baimu felt a bit afraid to meet this child of Pokémon’s gaze.

It was intimidating.

N didn’t mind at all, as a big part of the reason he stayed in the Ore Region was because of Baimu.

If Ash Ketchum taught him that humans and Pokémon could form bonds by showing him that possibility, then Baimu and the Ore Region made him realize how to continue extending that possibility.

Even from mud, a solitary golden wheat stood out, so when the mud turns into fertile soil, could golden wheat fields cover it all?

He was eagerly looking forward to it, working towards it.
