Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 671: Chapter 463: Dark Rayquaza

Blue sky and green sea.

The third day after the Shuijing Conference ended.

Baimu, who was on a plane headed for Carlos, looked out the window at the Hoenn Continent, which had long disappeared from view, feeling regret for not being able to see the figure of Rayquaza...

Alright.

Actually, it was relief.

As everyone knows, Rayquaza is the lord of the sky, and any invaders will be attacked by it, just like the two alien Deoxys in certain movies, one of which was shattered, its core crystal sinking to the seabed for years, and when it finally woke and sought its companion, it was chased again.

Although the final result was the ”overbearing” Rayquaza being suppressed by a man-made ocean, it was proof enough of how much it hated those who offended its territory.

In this situation, Baimu was always uneasy about flying in the Hoenn Region.

However, as the outcome showed, he obviously misunderstood Rayquaza; even legendary Pokémon in the animations are more emotional than divine, and wouldn’t create a horrifying disaster for personal reasons casually.

While contemplating, a few lighthearted laughs came from nearby.

Baimu turned his head and saw that sitting next to him were Mawile and the Dreepy siblings, watching a comedy show on a mobile phone, laughing so much they were rolling in their seats.

Speaking of which, the planes in the Pokémon animation world are quite interesting. Pokémon are allowed but there are height and weight restrictions, and tickets must be purchased; regardless of size, each gets one seat, and there are professional inspection devices to check for any hidden Pokémon before boarding.

This meant he had to return the Dreepy siblings, but these two, fascinated by the soaring planes, refused to go back, with one pleading pitifully and the other rolling back and forth.

The plane flies fast; can you feel it in the cabin? Come on, it’s not a motorcycle.

Unable to resist the two, and finding out there were indeed extra seats, he reluctantly bought four tickets as one person under the notion that money wasn’t an issue.

As seen now, the little ones were engrossed in the show, not caring at all about how fast the plane was flying.

”Two idiots...”

Baimu shook his head and opened his phone to browse the blog.

In the Pokémon World where black technology often appeared, with the existence of sky castles and flying ships, the signal issue in airplane cabins, easily resolved in his past life, was not a problem here.

However, maybe due to big data issues, in recent days his homepage frequently showed short essays with his and his Pokémon’s photos, while the competition videos, Pokémon Doctor papers, and Dr. Da Mu’s haikus he often saw before vanished.

He scrolled to the trending section.

His name was blatantly in the top ten, followed by an introduction to the Gorgeous Festival.

Clearly, this boost came from the Gorgeous Competition administration in the Hoenn Region, who in order to promote the upcoming Gorgeous Festival, not only highlighted Baimu, who had made outstanding progress since debut, but also listed numerous other promising Coordinator Trainers.

Xiaoguang was prominently among them, but Xiaoyao wasn’t seen, probably because she hadn’t competed in the Hoenn Gorgeous Competitions this year.

No big deal.

Once the Mikoli Club is held, he’ll meet them in person.

He silently scrolled through the blog, his thoughts returning to the day after the competition ended.

Unlike previous events where he had to hide himself, this time, through Bei Lingyin, the female owner of the Essence Shop he knew from a few encounters, he finally left the Gorgeous Competition venue openly through the main entrance.

Though aware she was the initial organizer and president of the Mawile Fan Club, seeing so many fans guided to neatly open a path was somewhat shocking.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t fend off the media.

Baimu didn’t care much and took the rare opportunity to seriously answer many media questions, getting accustomed for interviews he might face when he reaches the top and develops in Ore in the future.

To thank Bei Lingyin and others for their long-term support, he specially found a place he had previously checked out and found quite tasty, to entertain the management of the fan club—

It should actually be called a Mawile gathering, considering three people cosplayed as Mawile and the rest wore Mawile-themed clothing, each having a Mawile of their own.

Baimu’s own Mawile had never seen so many of its kind and didn’t know how to interact with them, maintaining a stern face, acting very aloof throughout to cover its nervousness, and even needed Baimu to feed it as its hands were shaking.

However, to Bei Lingyin and other Mawile, this behavior demonstrated a queen-like demeanor, with its ruby-like eyes, gorgeous fur, powerful giant jaw, and alabaster-like sharp teeth—aloof yet always charismatic—

Truly well-groomed.

After a meal, they not only didn’t dislike Mawile, but loved it more for its ”queen-like” demeanor, even crouching or kneeling for better angles to take photos and show them off on blogs and fan groups.

Unbeknownst to them, after the gathering, the flower they saw as unreachable tugged resentfully at the Trainer’s coat, blaming him for not giving a timely reminder.

At least give a day’s notice for a lady to prepare?

Yes.

Mental preparation.

Watching the coat being twisted into a pretzel, Baimu could only apologize and promise to give it a day’s notice in the future.
