Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 567: Chapter 504: Zombie Infection (Two in One)_3

The control was extremely strict. Under the vigilance of everyone, the dozens of zombies that appeared these days were all eliminated.

The base also has the highest observation tower, which can see farther places. If any abnormalities are detected, an alarm will be sounded through a horn, and an alarm will be reported again through the walkie-talkie, as a double insurance measure.

Li Yu, Dapao, Yang Tianlong, and others got on the truck and slowly drove towards the river mentioned by He Chao.

...

Twenty minutes later.

Li Yu arrived at the river where He Chao and others were transporting sand. The river water was somewhat murky and carried a rich green color.

From above the riverbank, it was impossible to clearly see what was inside the river.

On the riverbank, there was dense river grass, and there were many goose soft stones along the bank. Among them lay several zombie bodies, identical to the zombies He Chao had brought back earlier.

Bai Jie and Xiao Lan got out of the car and did not run directly to the zombies; instead, they walked straight to the riverbank, put on gloves, took out a test tube, and filled it with river water.

Seeing their actions, Li Yu quickly shouted, ”Are you tired of living? Come back quickly! What if more zombies come out of the river?”

His voice was loud and shook both of them.

They immediately got up and moved back to the riverbank.

Right after they had just left the riverside, three zombies immediately surged out of the river.

These three zombies, like the previous green zombies, were completely green.

Li Yu quietly pulled out his handgun and then observed these zombies.

These zombies were very agile in the water, moving like crocodiles, surging forward, and crawling up.

”Don’t shoot,” shouted Li Yu.

With only three zombies, the problem was not significant. The most critical thing was to research the threat level of this kind of zombie.

Dapao, holding a mobile phone, was recording these zombies’ behavior for future reference.

Soon, these three zombies swam to the shore, stood up directly, and when they saw Li Yu and the others, they ran towards them like mad.

Watching their actions, Li Yu quietly estimated the combat strength of these zombies.

”Their speed is comparable to that of an adult running at full speed.”

Seeing the speedy approach of these three zombies, Li Yu fired six shots.

He accurately hit the knees of these three zombies.

Plunk! Plunk! Plunk!

Three dull sounds, and the three zombies directly knelt down about six meters from Li Yu.

To the right of Li Yu, He Chao, and others, seeing Li Yu’s shooting skills.

They took a sharp breath.

They had long heard that Li Yu’s shooting skills were formidable, and seeing it today confirmed it was truly strong.

Li Yu continued to observe the three green zombies.

After falling, they didn’t stop immediately but continued crawling towards them using their hands.

”The upper body, agility is quite high, slightly more agile than the zombies in heavy rain. If there are large numbers, they are likely to stack up.

Moreover, they are highly irritable and generally more frantic.”

Li Yu murmured, silently calculating the combat strength of the zombies that came out of this river.

Then he looked at the river, extending for hundreds of meters.

These three zombies crawled quickly. Seeing these zombies getting closer, Li Yu fired two shots to finish them.

Then he said to He Chao, ”Cover the head of this zombie with an iron cage, tie up its hands and feet, and bring it back for research. Meanwhile, start loading the sand into the truck.”

Rumble～

They brought a mini excavator over, which sped up the sand collection.

Otherwise, it would be too slow to dig with just shovels and human effort.

Bai Jie and Xiao Lan crouched beside the remaining zombie, studying its condition.

Li Yu walked over to He Chao and said, ”Let everyone know about this situation. Before we understand these zombies, let’s get sand from other places first. Also, inform our partners outside to prevent them from being attacked by these zombies.”

He Chao nodded and said, ”Alright.”
