Pokemon: Reborn As Ash, I'll Conquer Every League

Chapter 145: Chapter 145 The Benefits of Rushing to Send

Chapter 145 The Benefits of Rushing to Send

”Ding! Detecting that the host’s Pokémon, Jirachi, has received divine blessing! True Eye has transformed into Superpower Eye, and Ruin Wish has transformed into Superpower Wish.”

Superpower Eye: Can absorb the power of all Psychic-type moves for its own use. Its capacity increases with strength. When illuminated by Superpower Eye, it can amplify the power of moves used by allies.

Superpower Wish: By gathering enough Psychic-type energy, it can unleash infinite possibilities. (Note: After using this skill, Jirachi will enter a state of dormancy. The duration of dormancy depends on the amount of Psychic-type energy released.)

Ash heard the system’s notification and quickly asked, ”Jirachi, how are you? Do you feel anything unusual?”

Jirachi circled Ash twice and happily said, ”No, Jirachi feels warm all over, so comfortable! And Ash, look, the eye on Jirachi’s belly can open now~”

Ash reached out and stroked Jirachi’s head, ”It’s good that you’re fine!”

”Controller, thanks to your Assist, the world was able to recover quickly! This is my thanks to you!”

The divine Lugia emitted a blue light that entered Ash’s body.

”Ding! Congratulations to the host for receiving the blessing of Lugia, God of the Great Ocean Currents, and obtaining the title Ocean’s Child.”

Title: Ocean’s Child

Effect: Greatly increases the affinity of Water-type, Ice-type, and Flying-type Pokémon. The probability of encountering Mythical/Legendary Pokémon of these three types increases by 5%. Protected by the sea, you can ignore sea pressure and breathe freely underwater. When necessary, you can utilize the power of ocean currents. (Note: Can be fused with other titles in the Ocean series. Fusion effect unknown.)

Compared to the Chosen One title, the Ocean’s Child title was much more practical.

Ash thought that if he ever truly became poor in the future, he could rely on this ability to catch some deep-sea wild Pokémon to make a living.

After bestowing the blessing upon Ash, the divine Lugia did not stop there. It looked at the Lugia that Ash had caught, hesitated for a moment, then condensed a silver feather and sent it into Lugia’s body.

”Young junior, to be able to become a combatant for an excellent controller, your future is limitless. If you can defeat me in the future, I can let you inherit the abundant authority of this planet!” the divine Lugia said.

However, Ash’s Lugia shook its head after receiving the silver feather. Divine authority was indeed appealing, but after following Ash, it yearned for freedom even more. Bearing divine authority meant fulfilling obligations, and it wasn’t idiot.

Divine Lugia: ”...”

While the divine Lugia was feeling depressed, the three Legendary Birds flew over.

Divine Moltres, Zapdos: ”Aura Guardian, thank you for lending a hand. This is our token of gratitude!”

They both learned from the divine Lugia and condensed a portion of power, sending it into the two birds Ash had caught.

When it was Articuno’s turn, it condensed an ice-blue feather and said, ”Aura Guardian, there is an excellent junior in my clan on Twin Islands. This is my token. I believe that by following you, it will achieve greater accomplishments than me!”

”Hmm, I understand. I will go to Twin Islands!”

Viridian Power advanced to Natural Power, Jirachi also received an upgrade, Lugia and the two other birds also improved, and now there was information about another Legendary Pokémon.

This was a huge gain!

Originally, Ash didn’t plan to exploit them, but the benefits were directly delivered to his doorstep.

It was clear that the idiot in the original work truly missed out on many good things.

Of course, this couldn’t be blamed on idiot; it should be blamed on the scriptwriter having a hole in their head.

After finishing the task, Ash rode the divine Lugia, circling in the sky for several rounds before reluctantly returning to the altar.

This time, he rode a true Legendary Pokémon, not just a member of the Legendary Pokémon race.

What Ash didn’t know was that his ride on the divine Lugia was not only seen by his mother, Delia, who had rushed there, but also made the news, and even his other Legendary/Mythical Pokémon appeared on camera.

....

Johto Region, Team Rockets Secret Base.

Giovanni looked at Mewtwo’s figure on the TV news. ”So Mewtwo was caught by this kid.”

”Arianna.”

”Boss!”

”I want all information on Ash from Pallet Town, including all his Pokémon. Also, tell those three idiots, Jessie, James, and Meowth, to follow him closely. The moment this kid arrives in the Johto Region, report his whereabouts immediately!” Giovanni ordered.

”Yes!”

After Arianna left, Giovanni pressed a button on his chair, and a hidden screen extended down from the ceiling.

The screen showed a laboratory culture dish, and inside the culture dish was a brand-new Mewtwo. Unlike the previous one, this new Mewtwo in the culture dish had no restraint devices.

After the last Mewtwo rampage incident, Giovanni had the lab cultivate a brand-new Mewtwo, and he changed the previous mind-suppression method. Instead, he chose to implant fabricated memories. These fabricated memories were not made up but were based on Giovanni and his former Pokémon as blueprints.

It could be said that Giovanni could freely command this new Mewtwo in battle. The only drawback at the moment was that the newly implanted memories were not yet very stable and required time for debugging and stabilization.

.....

”As long as I can find happiness this week, I hope I can forever remain a legendary existence!”

After bidding farewell to Ash and the others, the divine Lugia flapped its wings and flew back into the ocean.

”Ash, Ash!”

Delia climbed down from the top of Shamouti Island and quickly ran to Ash’s front.

”Mom?”

”I saw everything just now! Why did you do such a dangerous thing, you child?” Delia asked, hands on her hips, a bit angry.

”This... that... Serena, why don’t you...”

Facing his mother’s questioning, Ash stammered for a long time, unable to utter a complete sentence. In the end, he could only look at Serena with pleading eyes.

”Serena?”

Delia was stunned. She looked closely and, sure enough, it was one of the daughters-in-law she had recognized.

”Hello, Auntie!” Serena greeted shyly.

She had come to the Orange Islands for a trip without telling Ash’s mother, Delia, or her own mother. Instead, she had snuck out under the pretense of going to study with Diantha. And Ash was also very cunning and hadn’t mentioned this to Delia in their phone calls.

”Serena, when did you come here, child? Does your mother know about this?”

As expected, with a prospective daughter-in-law, Delia immediately chose to selectively forget her own son, Ash, and began asking Serena questions with concern.

”Ash, you’re quite something! You’ve hidden two more Pokémon I haven’t seen much of.” Professor Oak looked at Ash’s Deoxys and Jirachi with eyes full of curiosity.

”Professor, this is Deoxys, a Mythical Pokémon from space, and its name is Jirachi. Professor, you should have seen related records and documents,” Ash could only reluctantly explain to Professor Oak.

”A Pokémon from space? Then it must be very valuable for research! Jirachi, shouldn’t this little guy be dormant? I remember that comet won’t pass by Earth again for another year or almost two years...”

Although Jirachi was a Legendary Mythical Pokémon from the Hoenn region, Professor Oak’s laboratory had many related records and documents.

”No, Jirachi doesn’t need to sleep! And old man, your eyes are so strange....” Jirachi’s ethereal voice echoed in everyone’s minds.

”Ah haha.... That’s a scholar’s look of curiosity. So, Jirachi, would you be willing to cooperate with me for some research?”

Facing Oak’s question, Jirachi left the choice to Ash: ”Ash, should I cooperate?”

Ash was silent for a moment, then said, ”When we return to Pallet Town, I will personally help you, Professor, collect Jirachi’s data.”

Jirachi’s changes indeed needed to be re-understood, otherwise, he wouldn’t dare to use it.
