Chapter 125: Conquering

Under Ash’s Aura detection, the group quickly arrived at a peculiar building located in the suburbs.

At the entrance, Ash and the others encountered the familiar faces of Jessie and James.

”Team Rockets? I knew it was you two causing trouble again! You two better return everyone else’s Pokemon and stop using Drowzee for your evil deeds!” Misty snapped.

”Damn it, little girl, what strange things are you saying? We just arrived on this island too, you know!” Jessie retorted.

There was no way they were going to take the blame.

”Huh, you’re the two from last night. Where’s your talking Meowth?”

Serena recognized Jessie and James as the villains from last night who tried to steal her Gardevoir with a robot.

”Huh, how did another little girl appear?” James wondered aloud.

”Who cares about them, finding Meowth is more important!”

Jessie didn’t want to get tangled up with Ash and the others too much, so she dragged James into a nearby cave entrance.

”It seems like they really didn’t do it,” Tracy said.

”Even if it wasn’t those three, it’s still Team Rockets’ doing. Let’s go in,” Ash said.

”But which way should we go? These two cave entrances don’t look like the main entrance.”

Hearing this, Ash looked down at Pikachu and said, ”Pikachu, it’s up to you.”

”Pika!”

Pikachu nodded, then swung its tail a few times, creating a direct path to the strange building.

Meanwhile, Jessie and James, who took a shortcut, were confronting Cassidy and James.

The tense standoff between the four successfully bought Ash and his companions enough time.

Just as Jessie and James were about to be defeated, Ash and the others arrived in the nick of time.

Looking at the somewhat familiar faces, Misty said uncertainly, ”Are you Cassidy and Kozaburo?”

Hearing Misty mispronounce his name, James angrily emphasized, ”It’s James!”

”Hmph, I don’t care if you’re James or San Lun. Are you going to surrender yourselves, or do you want me to beat you up before you surrender?” Ash said coldly.

”Hmph, you think you can defeat us with just those few Pokémon of yours? Dream on!” Cassidy pulled out a remote control and pressed it a few times, and the Drowzee, which was installed in the signal amplifier, began to move.

Under the influence of the Hypnosis, the controlled Pokémon all turned their attention towards Ash and the others.

”You refuse a toast, so you’ll drink a forfeit. Gardevoir, please use Psychic to control them all, and Pikachu, use Iron Tail to destroy that machine.”

Gardevoir, along with its younger sister, jointly launched Psychic. Under the control of their powerful Psychic power, Drowzee’s Hypnosis had no effect whatsoever.

Cassidy and James, realizing the situation was dire, tried to escape, but found that Gardevoir had also controlled them, unable to even lift their feet, let alone run away.

As Pikachu delivered two Iron Tail attacks, the amplifier machine was destroyed, and the Pokémon returned to normal.

Seeing this, the Drowzee slowly shuffled its feet, also wanting to slip away.

”Oh? A Gym-level Drowzee, interesting.” Ash glanced at Drowzee’s information, then said to Pikachu, ”Pikachu, don’t let it run away.”

”Pika~”

Pikachu, understanding, pressed its Iron Tail against Drowzee’s head.

Drowzee was so terrified by the large, white-glowing tail in front of it that it didn’t dare to move, fearing that Pikachu might accidentally slip and crush it with its tail.

”Hey, Jessie, James, you two go find a rope and tie these two up, then you can leave.”

Since this incident wasn’t caused by Jessie and James, Ash felt it would be wrong to send them flying or to the police station.

Hearing Ash’s words, Jessie and James acted swiftly and efficiently, tying up Cassidy and James in just a few moments.

”Damn it, Jessie, you can’t do this to us!” Cassidy protested.

They were also members of Team Rockets, so why did they seem like outsiders now?

”Hehehe, Cassidy, you two can reflect slowly in the police station! We’re leaving first!”

The two, along with a bewildered Meowth, left joyfully, even cheering, ”What a great feeling!”

Of course, they were overjoyed that their competitors were going to be sent to the police station.

Not long after Team Rockets left, Kumquat Island’s Jenny arrived on her three-wheeled vehicle.

”Jenny, these two Team Rockets members were using Drowzee’s Hypnosis to influence the island’s Pokémon and taking the opportunity to abduct valuable Pokémon,” Ash said, pointing at Cassidy and James.

”Alright, thank you all very much!”

With the culprits found, Jenny felt relieved.

”By the way, Jenny, that Drowzee was used by bad people, so I want to take it with me for strict education. This is my Alliance Inspector ID, please take a look.”

Ash once again took out his Alliance Inspector ID.

Jenny took the ID and carefully compared it. As if remembering something, she said with some excitement, ”You’re Professor Ash, aren’t you? Could you please sign an autograph for me? I absolutely love Sylveon and Milotic!”

”Uh...”

Ash looked at the ID he handed out, confirming he hadn’t picked up the wrong one, then looked at Jenny’s expression, and was instantly speechless.

Damn it, she could recognize him even like this. As expected of an Elite in the police force.

”Signing is no problem, but please keep it a secret for now, Jenny.”

Saying that, Ash pulled out a pen and quickly wrote his name on the small notebook Jenny provided.

”No problem, Professor Ash!”

Jenny carefully tore off the page with Ash’s signature from the notebook and put it into her wallet.

”Professor Ash? Sylveon? Milotic? Could it be...”

Tracy also realized Ash’s identity, and his eyes immediately became excited and agitated.

Misty saw Serena’s calm expression and asked, ”Serena, Ash must have told you about his identity as a Pokémon Professor a long time ago, right?”

”Mhm, mhm. Ash told me when he first got his doctorate, and I couldn’t believe it back then!”

After getting Ash’s autograph, Jenny did not inquire further about Drowzee.

Ash then naturally captured Drowzee.
