Pokemon: Reborn As Ash, I'll Conquer Every League

Chapter 110: Chapter 110 Winning the Championship

Chapter 110 Winning the Championship

The news of Mega Evolution’s debut at the Kanto Indigo Plateau Conference spread to all major factions across various regions in less than a minute.

Many were closely monitoring this special power.

In a secret Team Rockets base in the Johto region.

Giovanni looked at Gary’s Super Scizor on the screen, ”Mega Evolution, is this the secret the League has been hiding all this time? Interesting.”

”Arianna.”

As Giovanni finished speaking, a woman with glasses walked in.

”Boss.”

”Collect all information about Mega Evolution with full effort. Also, secretly collect the two items related to Mega Evolution as quickly as possible. If you can’t buy them, then steal them,” Giovanni ordered coldly.

”Yes!” Arianna nodded solemnly.

Looking at the three figures that flashed across the TV screen, Giovanni spoke again, ”Those three idiots, Jessie, James, and Meowth, seem to have some connection with that old geezer Oak. Have them infiltrate Oak’s research lab and gather intelligence on that Scizor.”

”Understood, Boss.”

Arianna understood Giovanni’s meaning and walked out of Giovanni’s office to relay the orders.

The decisions of many factions were similar to Team Rockets’.

Meanwhile, Professor Sycamore, who was leading the research on Mega Evolution, was busy directing his assistants to record data.

The battle continued.

”Charizard, Flamethrower.”

”Scizor, Agility.”

Super Scizor’s body turned into afterimages, constantly dodging Charizard’s attacks.

With a 4x weakness to Fire and an incredibly fragile body, Scizor was extremely cautious with every step, fearing it might be hit by Charizard by accident.

Charizard, on the other hand, was much more relaxed, as he had the advantage in level, type, and was much more resilient than Scizor.

Seeing that Scizor couldn’t get close to Charizard, Gary could only reluctantly command, ”Scizor, use Flash Cannon.”

Upon hearing the command, Scizor brought its two large pincers together, a brilliant light shone from within the pincers, and then a laser shot out.

”Charizard, now! Flare Blitz!”

Upon hearing the command, Charizard covered himself in flames and charged forward in a spiral flight, enduring Scizor’s attack.

Flare Blitz—Counter Shield version.

”Oh no!” Gary saw Charizard rapidly approaching Scizor and hurriedly shouted, ”Scizor, Agility! Quickly create distance!”

”Too late.”

Charizard’s speed was superior to Super Scizor’s, and Charizard gave Scizor a fiery embrace.

The referee looked at the unconscious Scizor, raised his flag, ”Scizor is unable to battle!”

”You worked hard, Scizor.”

Gary did not blame Scizor. This loss was his own fault; he was too impatient.

”Blastoise, I’m counting on you for the last one!”

”Kami!”

[Pokémon: Blastoise]

[Type: Water]

[Gender: Male]

[Level: High Elite]

[Ability: Rain Dish]

As soon as Gary’s Blastoise appeared, he unleashed his full Elite aura, which was much more flamboyant than Ash’s.

Charizard saw Blastoise’s strength and showed a hint of disdainful mockery.

To play dumb and surprise his opponents, Ash had specifically instructed his Pokémon to conceal their strength. Coupled with Pikachu, the master actor, teaching them, it was difficult for ordinary people to discern the exact strength of Ash’s Pokémon.

”Blastoise, Rain Dance!”

Blastoise shot two streams of water into the sky, and then dark clouds formed, and a light rain began to fall.

”You want to fight a long battle? I won’t give you the chance. Charizard, Fire Blast.”

”Blastoise, withdraw into your shell, then use Rapid Spin!”

Charizard spat out a large character-shaped flame, while Blastoise retracted into his shell, then rapidly spun his body, successfully evading the damage.

”Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!”

”Charizard, Dragon Pulse!”

Boom!

Hydro Pump and Dragon Pulse collided, creating a violent explosion.

Using the smoke from the explosion, Charizard flew towards Blastoise.

Sensing something, Gary immediately ordered, ”Blastoise, continuously use Water Gun! Don’t let Charizard get close.”

”Kami!”

Blastoise sprayed water indiscriminately into the dust.

”Charizard, use Dragon Claw.”

Hearing Ash’s command, Charizard swung his claws to counter Blastoise’s Water Gun attack.

”I don’t believe I can’t even take down one of yours! I’m going all out! Blastoise, seize the opportunity and grab Charizard!”

Gary now only wanted to take down one of Ash’s Pokémon, so he had to take a risky move.

Blastoise, worthy of being his ace Pokémon, endured Charizard’s Dragon Claw attack and grabbed Charizard’s hands.

Seeing this, Gary’s heart filled with joy, and he quickly ordered, ”Blastoise, now! Use Hydro Pump!”

”Charizard, don’t give him a chance! Finish him with Seismic Toss!” Ash also gave his command.

Just as Blastoise’s cannon was aimed at Charizard, Charizard dragged Blastoise into the sky.

With his feet unable to touch the ground, Blastoise’s mind was thrown into disarray.

Charizard grabbed Blastoise and spun him a few times in mid-air, then dove rapidly. At a height of less than two meters from the ground, he released Blastoise, who crashed heavily onto the ground.

”Blastoise is unable to battle!”

As the referee’s voice sounded, five of Gary’s six Pokémon were unable to battle, with only Nidoking still able to fight. As for Ash, besides Milotic having minor injuries, the rest were completely fine.

”Ash, I won’t let you completely crush me! Referee, I surrender!”

As long as he still had one Pokémon capable of battling, the outcome of this fight was still uncertain. Surrendering simply meant that he, Gary, was tired and didn’t want to fight anymore; it definitely wasn’t because he couldn’t win!

Hearing this, Ash thought, ”Damn, I was too hasty.”

If he had known Gary would pull this stunt, he wouldn’t have let Milotic use Dragon Tail.

”Trainer Gary has chosen to surrender, so the winner of this match is Trainer Ash!” the referee announced, raising the green flag representing Ash’s side.

The competition ended. Ash stood on the podium, holding the Indigo Plateau Conference Champion trophy. With that, the Indigo Plateau Conference concluded.

”Ding, congratulations to the host for winning the Indigo Plateau Conference Champion, receiving rewards: Ten Million League Credits, One Hundred Thousand Points, Legendary/Mythical Pokémon Gacha * 1.”

”Ding, detected that the host won the championship with overwhelming power, triggering additional rewards: Fifty Thousand Points, evolution stone * 3.”
