Pokemon: Reborn As Ash, I'll Conquer Every League

Chapter 115: Chapter 115 Departure to the Orange Islands

Chapter 115 Departure to the Orange Islands

After capturing Lugia, Ash did not directly return to Vermilion City Port. Instead, he dived to the bottom of the sea, made a large detour, and came ashore from an uninhabited cliff.

Then, he disguised himself as a traveling Trainer and returned to the Pokémon Center in Vermilion City.

By the time he returned, Misty’s group had been waiting for a long time.

”Ash, congratulations! You’ve captured another powerful Pokémon!” Misty and Brock stepped forward to congratulate him.

Ash humbly replied, ”It was just a stroke of luck.”

”Hmph, Ash, I’ll grudgingly admit you won this time, but I won’t lose to you next time,” Gary declared arrogantly.

Ash took out a bracelet made of Master Balls, waved it at Gary, and said, ”You’re still twenty thousand years too early to beat me!”

Seeing Ash’s show of wealth, Gary really wanted to punch Ash. ”Damn it!”

However, his strength didn’t allow it, so he suppressed the thought and asked, ”Ash, which region are you going to travel to next?”

”Johto, but before going to the Johto region, I want to visit the Orange Islands,” Ash said.

When he said goodbye to Professor Oak at Indigo Plateau earlier, Ash had already taken on the task of transporting the GS Ball, which gave him a good reason to go.

”So, you’re also going to participate in the Silver Conference in the Johto region?”

The Indigo Plateau Conference hadn’t even ended, but Gary was already paying attention to other regions’ Alliance Conferences. The most recent one was naturally the Silver Conference in the Johto region.

”Of course, my goal is to become a Pokémon Master, and participating in the Alliance Conference is good training.”

”Then it’s a deal. We’ll have our rematch at the Silver Conference!”

After declaring war, Gary got up and left in a hurry.

He had to take advantage of Ash’s time playing in the Orange Islands to secretly train hard, hoping to redeem himself at the Silver Conference next time.

Looking at Gary’s departing back, Brock hesitated for a moment and asked, ”Ash, aren’t you going to try to persuade Gary?”

”Persuade him to do what? To leave tomorrow? Forget it, this is Vermilion City, Gary won’t get lost.”

Ash also knew it was getting late, but since Gary’s girlfriend was in Vermilion City, how could he possibly worry about Gary getting into trouble?

However, thinking of Koharu, Ash couldn’t help but recall that he seemed to have sensed a very familiar Aura at Vermilion City Port these past few days.

Recalling that Aura, Ash couldn’t suppress the urge in his heart and added another sixty years of bad luck debuff to him.

That’s right, this time it wasn’t just half a year. He was now a quasi-billionaire, and with money, he naturally had to arrange things properly for others.

As for other debuffs, it was better to play with them slowly later, after all, the unlucky person persona had already been established, and that guy’s brand would never collapse.

On a certain cargo ship, Goh, who was wrapped up like a mummy, suddenly felt a chill in his heart, as if he was being targeted by something terrifying.

The next second, a huge wave crashed against the side of the cargo ship, and due to inertia, he fell heavily off the bed. Then, many miscellaneous items in his room swayed back and forth, eventually all falling on him without exception. His old injuries worsened with new ones, and he then fainted.

When he was found, not only had Goh’s injuries worsened, but an unknown Pokémon had also defecated a large amount on him, and he was completely marinated.

Fortunately, the doctor who treated him still had some medical ethics and endured the nausea to treat him, but because of this, Goh was given a new codename within Team Aqua—Shit luck.

...

After Ash’s group returned to Pallet Town, they rested for three days before going to Professor Oak to inquire about the GS Ball. After that, they prepared to go to the Orange Islands.

Before leaving, Ash had Venusaur carry an evolution stone and transform back into Bulbasaur, specifically its original size before consuming the Overlord Essence Liquid. This was done to allow Bulbasaur to better Assist Professor Oak in managing the Pokémon in the backyard, and Ash also had Bulbasaur act as a supervisor for Pokémon training.

Finally, when leaving Professor Oak’s Laboratory, besides Pikachu, Gardevoir, and the Pokémon caught with Master Balls, Ash only took the male Ralts and Togepi, leaving the rest in Professor Oak’s backyard.

Of course, those left behind were not simply left to fend for themselves. Ash had arranged several stages of training goals for each of them. In return for their diligent training, they would receive eligibility to participate in future Alliance Conferences. Those not keen on battling would gain eligibility for performance-based Contests like the Grand Festival, or even the right to appear in Pokémon movies.

That’s right, due to Millennium Ghost, Ash also added entertainment rewards for his Pokémon, such as making movies and releasing albums. This was actually all for making money. Currently, the fastest-growing income in this area is Jigglypuff’s lullaby, which is both pleasant to listen to and helps with sleep. It raked in 5 small targets internationally within three days of its release.

It’s worth mentioning that Ash had already received the smartphones produced in collaboration with Devon Corporation and the various regional Leagues. The phones came pre-installed with various software, social media, live streaming, video streaming, and everything else imaginable. However, current production is limited, making global coverage difficult. But Ash, using his privileged access, sent one to all his friends.

After leaving Pallet Town, Ash’s group once again headed to Vermilion City Port.

Not long after the group entered Viridian Forest, they heard a familiar cry.

”Hey, Ash, save us!”

”Ash!”

The trio followed the sound and saw the Team Rocket Trio clinging to a tree, calling for help.

”What bad things are you three guys trying to do again?” Misty asked cautiously.

”little girl, we’re not trying to do anything bad. Please, quickly save us! If we leave this tree, we’ll be attacked by a flock of Spearow!” James cried.

”A flock of Spearow?”

Misty and Brock both looked troubled. Spearow were indeed ill-tempered.

Saving them? One wrong move and they might get themselves into trouble too.

”That’s right! There are so many Spearow here, Meow!” Meowth cried with tears in his eyes, clutching a branch.

Unlike the original story, because Ash had captured Shinny Fearow and Pidgeot, these two species in Viridian Forest had reached a peace agreement. They had long since divided their territories, so there were no Pidgey on the tree where the Team Rocket Trio was located.

The Pidgey Family’s territory was closer to Professor Oak’s Laboratory, mainly focusing on daily visits to the Laboratory to beg for food.

”You three guys are thick-skinned. Just jump down and run while enduring their attacks,” Ash said with a smile, reminding them.

The Super Team Rocket’s physique was even stronger than his Super True Human. Mere Spearow pecking them wouldn’t even manage to twist their beaks.

”Please, it hurts a lot to be pecked by a Spearow!” Jessie was displeased.

She knew they just had to run, but fear of pain was human instinct, wasn’t it?

”Alright, then we’ll be merciful and save you. I’ll count to three. You don’t have to worry about anything, just run in that direction with your heads down. When you hear a buzzing sound, hide in the bushes and slowly crawl out.”

Ash pointed a direction to the three Team Rockets.

That direction was not a safe place, because it was Beedrill’s territory.

”One!”

As soon as Ash spoke,

”Ash, wait a moment, give us some time to prepare,” Jessie shouted.

Then the three of them stretched their limbs.

Seeing them ready, Ash didn’t waste any time and immediately shouted three.

And Pikachu, who had been building up power for a long time, also released electricity immediately.

The Team Rocket Trio’s reaction was indeed fast enough, and they ran off in the direction Ash pointed.

After doing all this, Ash took Misty and James and quickly slipped away.

Because next was the PK between the two major species: Spearow and Beedrill.
