Pokemon: Reborn As Ash, I'll Conquer Every League

Chapter 141: Chapter 141 Lugia’s Birth 3

Chapter 141 Lugia’s Birth 3

”You are a Pokemon Trainer? Well, that works too. This is the old rule, a welcome kiss for you.”

Melody leaned in front of Ash and ’smooched’ him on the cheek.

This shocked Misty and Tracy, while Serena just covered her mouth and smiled. She had witnessed Ash’s extraordinary affinity, a special ability that worked on both Pokemon and beautiful women. At first, Serena was a little jealous, but later she just got used to it. This was also a small reason why she didn’t care about Misty traveling with Ash.

Of course, if Ash knew Serena’s thoughts, he would inevitably sigh—having a Handsome face means you can do whatever you want. (Cough cough, of course, not as Handsome as you, dear readers.)

Serena could sit still, but Misty was different. She turned to Serena and asked, ”Serena, aren’t you going to do something?”

”It’s fine, Ash knows his limits,” Serena smiled.

”Eh? Are you his girlfriend?” Melody awkwardly pointed at Ash and asked Serena.

”Yes,” Serena nodded.

”I’m so sorry!”

Melody had thought that Ash, this Handsome young man, was unattached, which was why she boldly made a move. She didn’t expect to be caught by the official girlfriend, and she was so embarrassed that her toes were practically curling a three-bedroom apartment.

However, the embarrassment came and went quickly. With that old man raising his arm and shouting, ”The celebration has begun!”

Ash’s group, surrounded by the residents of Shamouti Island, walked towards the interior of the island.

As night fell, the festival atmosphere grew stronger: bonfires, delicious food, beautiful women... everything was in place.

However, just as everyone was immersed in the joyful celebration, Pikachu frowned, staring intently at the sky.

Ash rubbed Pikachu’s head, ”Pikachu, don’t worry, it’s just a small disturbance, nothing big will happen.”

”Pika?” (Really?)

Pikachu was still not quite at ease.

”Of course, you have to believe in our other partners. We still have Dragonite, Mewtwo, and if worst comes to worst, we can call Mew over, right?”

When Ash set off for the Orange Islands, the foodie Dragonite had already returned to its home, the World Tree. After all, after wandering outside for a long time, it had to go back and check if anything had happened, to avoid being caught slacking by the big boss.

Hearing Mew’s name, Pikachu’s tightly furrowed brows relaxed considerably.

When he fought Mewtwo before, he saw that Mew could toy with Mewtwo, so with this big shot as a backup, Pikachu felt quite relieved.

A melodious flute sound rang out. Melody, wearing a flower crown and a white cloth dress, played a beautiful tune on a conch shell flute on the stage, her posture swaying with the rhythm of the music.

”Is that Melody? She’s changed so much!”

Tracy looked at the stage in disbelief.

Ash nodded, ”Indeed, the change is quite big. She looks completely different from how she was dressed just now.”

”Hmm... The flute music is also very nice. I wonder if I can ask her for lessons!” Serena said with a smile.

Misty’s eyes widened, ”You guys.....”

What’s going on? You’re all praising her, doesn’t that make me seem out of place?

When the music ended, Melody came down from the stage and told Ash’s group the ancient legend of the island:

”When heaven and earth are enraged, and the world faces destruction...”

”Mr. Ash, if you are truly an excellent controller, please show us proof!” Melody leaned close to Ash and asked softly.

”Ah, this...”

Looking at Melody, who had leaned in again, Ash couldn’t help but shrink back.

”Please don’t misunderstand, this is routine. It’s performed once every year. Actually, the proof isn’t difficult at all...”

Before Melody could finish, Ash forcefully interrupted, ”Regarding the legend of the Sea God, I actually know a little. The proof you’re talking about, Melody, should be the sacred orbs on the three small islands nearby. You retrieve them and place them in the relic hall on this island, and finally, the priestess plays the song for the gods, which is the one you just played, right?”

”That’s right! The treasures are hidden in the small temples on the three small islands. There are paths on the islands that lead directly to the temples. So, Mr. Ash, are you willing to give it a try?”

”No problem. Serena, are you guys going?”

Ash looked at the other three.

”Sounds like fun, I’ll go too!”

As long as it was an adventure with Ash, Serena was quite happy to go.

Seeing that Serena had nodded, Misty also had no reason to refuse.

As for Tracy, there was basically no need to ask; he was definitely happy to accompany them.

”Good, let’s go!”

Seeing that Ash’s group planned to set sail that night, Melody quickly added, ”Don’t worry, the festival lasts until tomorrow. It’s not too late to go tomorrow morning.”

”That won’t do. Tomorrow and tomorrow, how many tomorrows are there? What’s more, conditions don’t allow us to waste time now.”

The Legendary Pokemon with their sacred duties were about to start fighting; could they just wait? Even if Ash had a backup plan, he still needed to create a retreat before taking risks, right? Otherwise, if Serena and the others were accidentally hurt, it wouldn’t be fun.

”Very good, very motivated. We’ll go to Fire Island first, I’ll drive the boat!”

Ami quite appreciated Ash’s decisive personality.

However, when the group arrived at the seaside, the originally calm sea became turbulent. The boats docked at the pier swayed continuously under the pushing of the waves, as if they were about to sink.

”With such big winds and waves, Ami, can your boat still get across?”

”It’s nothing, this level of wind and waves won’t stop me!” Ami was very confident in her skills.

Melody advised, ”How about we wait until tomorrow? It’s pitch black, and the waves are big, it’s too dangerous!”

”Don’t worry, it’s fine. I’ve seen bigger winds and waves!”

Ami boarded her boat, briefly checked its condition, and started the engine, ready to depart at any moment.

After Ash’s group had all boarded the boat, Melody hesitated for a moment, then also boarded the small boat.

Inside the sky fortress.

”The three forces used to maintain balance, but one of them was taken by me. The collapsing part.....”

The fortress owner looked excitedly at the projection in front of him, which resembled a chessboard.

”Suspected Zapdos life form detected, moving towards Fire Island!” The fortress AI broadcasted the latest detection results.

The reason for the abnormal weather was also confirmed to be related to the ocean currents deep at the bottom of the sea, and relevant reports were all on the news.

Upon seeing this news, Professor Oak also realized that this matter might involve Legendary Pokemon. After all, he couldn’t think of any other possibility for something that could affect the global weather, apart from a legendary existence.

Especially since Ash was currently in the middle of this incident. Professor Oak, having witnessed Ash’s physique that attracted Legendary Pokemon, had already deduced most of the cause and effect of this matter in his mind.

”Ash!”

And after seeing the news report’s deduction that the place where the weather changed drastically was the Orange Islands, Delia couldn’t help but worry about her son’s safety.

.....

Ami looked at the increasingly turbulent sea and reminded, ”Everyone hold on tight, the waves have changed again!”

”What on earth is happening?! Why did it suddenly change again?” Melody, being a local, was also completely bewildered by the changes in the ocean.

”Not sure, but everyone just hold on tight, we’re about to land!” Ami reminded.

The next second, the small boat flew onto the shore.

Subsequently, Pikachu took the lead and rushed up the steps.
