Chapter 165 – 136 Actually…….I am very interested in forging! (Two in one big chapter)

Although Lagaray knew that Rein had entered the Transcendent realm, she did not witness the scene where Rein killed four Black Flame cultists.

So, with a suspicious look, Lagaray glanced at Rein and said, “Rein, didn’t you say you had just learned Hammer Skill?”

“This… it is indeed just recently learned!” Rein touched his nose.

It must be the effect of his Hammer Skill specialty.

Of course, that was obviously something Rein could not mention.

[Your skill Tokkal Hammer Technique has improved, Experience +15]

[You have undergone a battle, Knight (Transcendent) Professional Experience Points +1]

….

After a few minutes of sparring, the improvement in the Tokkal Hammer Technique was quite significant.

However, in terms of the Profession Level of Rein’s Transcendent Knight, the growth in experience was almost negligible.

Of course, the occasional +1 in experience points was better than nothing.

The sparring continued.

“Boom!”

Lagaray was once again struck by Rein’s ironwood warhammer, hitting her shield and sending her flying back several meters.

“Enough!”

Lagaray’s ample chest heaved as she rolled her eyes at Rein, who didn’t have a single bead of sweat on his forehead, and said irritably.

Wasn’t this bullying?

Rein had entered the Transcendent realm, and clearly, his Hammer Skill was also well-founded. She simply couldn’t withstand a few of Rein’s hammer blows.

Even with her favorite shield!

Lagaray thought to herself.

Additionally, even though she was a barbarian, with Strength and Constitution surpassing those of an average aspiring Knight, Lagaray always felt that Rein was the real monster, more of a barbarian than her.

“Uh… alright then!” Rein could tell that Lagaray was really trying her best.

Just… he had only used about sixty percent of his Strength. Any less and the sparring match wouldn’t provide enough experience for Tokkal Hammer Technique, but any more and Lagaray wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Quite the dilemma!

As for feeling tired?

Not at all!

With a Constitution of eighteen, sparring with Lagaray felt to Rein like a marathon runner from his past life having jogged just ten kilometers.

It was barely a warm-up!

The Night Watchmen nearby kept glancing over at Lagaray and Rein.

Although Flashgold Town had just suffered an attack from the cultists, increasing the workload of the Night Watchmen, after witnessing the formidable strength of the cultists, many of the Night Watchmen, no matter how busy, would make time to come to the training grounds to improve themselves.

One of the Night Watchmen turned to the short-statured Matteo and whispered, “Boss, do you think our Deputy Commander is going easy on that beautiful barbarian girl?”

“You don’t understand!”

“It’s all about playfulness!” Matteo glanced at his subordinate Night Watchman and said.

“Playfulness?” The Night Watchman thought for a moment, appeared to realize something, then nodded continuously with a look of sudden understanding.

“I see, no wonder the Deputy Commander, despite being so strong, still insists on sparring with her.”

“….”

Even though their conversation was in hushed tones, Rein and Lagaray, with their strengths, heard everything loud and clear.

This caused Lagaray’s cheeks, already flushed from the intense exercise, to redden even more.

“By the way, Lagaray, can you forge a warhammer?” Rein asked while waving the ironwood warhammer in his hand.

“Hmm! It’s just that the typical material for a warhammer might not be suitable for you.” Lagaray looked at the ironwood warhammer in Rein’s hand and said.

Rein immediately nodded in agreement, “You’re right! I need a good warhammer.”

This point, with his increasing strength, had made the importance of a good weapon ever more apparent.

Before Rein had transcended, a Fine Steel Greatsword of decent quality was already struggling to withstand the intensity of his combat, let alone now that Rein had the strength of a seasoned Knight.

Moreover, when unleashing the ‘stacking state,’ Rein’s demand for a weapon was exceptionally high!

Could the weapon wielded at twenty points of Strength be the same as one wielded at forty points of Strength?

The answer was clearly no!

“From what I know, if you want to make a warhammer that meets the strength requirements of a proper Knight like you, the best would be blood-patterned steel. This steel is very strong and tough, ideal for forging warhammers,” she advised.

“Secondly, there’s starmetal like you saw last time. Adjust the composition a bit, and it’s also great for making warhammers,” she added.

“That blood-patterned steel, is it also extracted from some kind of rare ore?” Rein inquired.

If there was a better material choice, he naturally wanted to choose the better option.

“Yes, it’s also refined from special ores and is very rare,” Lagaray confirmed with a nod.

This gave Rein a bit of a headache; clearly, these high-grade goods wouldn’t be available at Boris the Blacksmith’s shop in the small town.

Last time, he had bought up the only starmetal Boris had and infused it into his Glimmering Greatsword.

Check with the quartermaster nearby?

After thinking for a while, Rein immediately shook his head. Even if the quartermaster’s stock was diverse, such rare raw materials would not likely be available for exchange.

Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck Rein’s mind, and he remembered something!

He recalled the blacksmith Boris once mentioned to him:

“Rein, if you want to learn about identifying other special ores, you’ll have to go to the large blacksmith shops in County Town, uh… of course, there are definitely also many kinds of special ores stocked in the blacksmith shops inside the manor castles.”

That’s right!

How could he not have thought of that?

In fact, he could go check out the blacksmith shop at the Habsburg manor. Read new chapters at m
