Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Back then, humans never imagined that a young boy’s sudden whim would become their goal for advancement in the future.

The development of Magic Power initially did not go smoothly; it was even rather difficult.

In that era, although the microcosm domain experienced considerable growth, detailed application had never been pursued.

This was a completely new challenge.

After discussing the feasibility of other plans, multiple strategies were implemented simultaneously and started competing with each other.

Competition is an essential part of life.

In the ancient, immobile Ediacaran Period, all organisms were mere immobile flesh pieces at the seafloor. But when one organism moved, it gained a competitive advantage over others, securing more opportunities and living space.

To gain more living space and opportunities from those moving organisms, others began to move as well.

Evolution began its unstoppable march, leading to a species explosion in the Cretaceous.

Born in hardship, died in comfort.

A world without competition will ultimately become stagnant, with laziness becoming the norm.

Knowing this, humans, even if united, didn’t share communal resources but instead pushed society forward through competition.

The early stages of Magic Power development were fraught with difficulties, but with endless effort from many people, they managed to overcome these.

In earlier days, sci-fi novelists already used imaginative thinking to construct various possibilities.

Researchers developing Magic Power drew inspiration from these sci-fi novels.

They attempted to unfold particles, creating a microcomputer on them, using electrons swirling around these particles to store energy, thereby producing the earliest form of Magic Power.

The Magic Power produced this way had many drawbacks.

These drawbacks were gradually overcome in later research.

Magic Power evolved from one to two types of particle computer operation.

Electrons move outside atomic nuclei, interacting with the nuclei to some extent.

Upon absorbing external energy, electrons’ energy increases, motion speeds up, making it easier to break free from the atomic nucleus and leave it.

The situation is akin to artificial earth satellites, where if the satellite gains higher energy, its speed increases, enabling it to escape Earth, even the solar system, and fly into the universe.

When electrons are drawn in and captured, their motion rate decreases, leading to a reduction in electrons’ energy, and excess energy gets released.

The two types of computer particles can alter their characteristics based on instructions, releasing energy stored in electrons, or by some means storing surrounding energy within themselves.

After solving one problem, new issues came one after another.

Thanks to the relentless efforts of researchers, these were tackled one by one.

Currently, the most challenging problem is that engraving on microscopic particles results in extremely low production efficiency, gaining only a small jar of Magic Power after months of nonstop production.

This small jar of Magic Power was distributed to the newly formed Instruction Input Department and Biological Experiment Department.

The Instruction Input Department was responsible for inputting various instructions into the particle computer, implanting the ”Array.”

As for the Biological Experiment Department...

Because when the two types of particles stabilize, their properties are similar to oxygen and carbon, both essential components of life.

The upper management was very interested in what happens when Magic Power affects organisms, as well as whether humans would be impacted in the Magic environment, hence establishing such departments specifically.

The development of Magic Power encountered a significant bottleneck here.

Magic Power, for organisms, is a chronic ”poison.”

All organisms living in Magic Power couldn’t survive long before being killed by it.

Magic Power development nearly came to a halt due to this reason.

Even if Magic Power was created, if no one can freely operate within it, the goddess’s apprehension can’t be dispelled.

Fortunately, the development of Magic Power had ignited curiosity and a fighting spirit among many.

If the Magic Power development succeeded, many magic spells seen only in animations or literary works would become reality.

Almost overnight, nearly all the personnel involved in Magic Power development collectively petitioned to have the higher-ups observe before making a final decision.

Not all research can achieve significant breakthroughs at the start.

Magic Power research is the same.

Good news always comes unexpectedly; with the relentless efforts of the biological research department, they finally found the first plant able to domesticate Magic Power—alfalfa.

When one good piece of news arrives, it often comes with more good news.

The bacteria research department also experienced breakthroughs; this time not just one but multiple bacteria had collectively overcome the challenges of adapting to Magic Power, even staging miniature magic wars among bacteria.

Life always finds a way.

Just like no one taught the ancient Luka ancestors to use amino acids, the bacteria in the labs, without any guidance, learned how to use magic.

After that, the Biological Experiment Department discovered numerous Magic Power substances produced by bacteria and plants, then started testing those substances.

They quickly found a substance that, once injected into the body, allowed individuals to freely operate within a Magic Power environment without being affected, despite some side effects, representing a solid step forward.

The plan to use Magic Power as bait for traps was once again brought to the table for discussion.

This time, human leadership voted overwhelmingly to execute the plan.

Fengte also rose step by step, becoming one of the project leaders due to the successful operation of the plan.

During the Magic Power development, the Goddess Sect caused quite a stir.

Fengte personally ended the lives of former companions for the success of the plan.

Little did he know this wasn’t the end, but just the beginning.

The plan to capture the goddess spread quickly, with the Goddess Sect inciting the populace to strongly oppose it.

This was when the bacterial research department achieved breakthrough progress, and Fengte decisively led numerous troops to implement bloody suppression.

This process also marked Fengte’s mindset transformation.

Fengte gradually developed new understanding of the Luka Sect’s teachings, sometimes candidly expressing his fresh insights publicly.

What he didn’t know was that what he was doing now also laid the groundwork for certain future events.

And all that happened after the goddess was captured.

The Luka Civilization succeeded in capturing the goddess.

No one expected the plan to go so smoothly.

Fengte didn’t even use advanced soldiers trained in labyrinth workouts; he simply sent the goddess to the vicinity of the giant robot, allowing it to completely engulf her.
