Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The silver projectile spun open in mid-air, transforming into a silver claw that firmly grasped one of the giant crocodile’s teeth.

Maneuvering the device on his arm, a silver-white line connected to both the claw and Gao Yuanyi.

The connected magic line quickly shortened, pulling Gao Yuanyi toward the claw.

Mist swept across as the shape of the Deceitful Emperor gradually disappeared, turning his slender black sword blade into a thin line that wrapped around the giant crocodile’s mouth, attempting to clamp it shut.

Bai Jin, Tico, and Li Yan emerged from between the crocodile’s teeth, jointly raising a massive shield to isolate the Demon King’s chains.

The figure of the Demon King appeared in mid-air, extending his hand toward Bai Jin and the others’ direction.

The magic power composing the mist rapidly gathered in his hand, transforming into a powerful giant magic light beam hurled at the giant crocodile.

The Deceitful Emperor’s magic light beam struck Bai Jin and the others’ shield barrier, spreading solid ice across it, trying to completely freeze the crocodile along with Bai Jin and the others.

Li Yan took out a piece of Fairy’s Magic Stone, attempting to ignite flames within his hand.

A wisp of red flame gradually formed in Li Yan’s hand.

At the place where Yang Yu and the others fought, the effect of the Sailuomen Plain had long since expired, and flame magic was gradually usable again.

Without hesitation, Li Yan crushed the Fairy’s Magic Stone, instantly gathering a large amount of magic power.

Scorching magic spread like a pancake in Li Yan’s palm, forming a fiery red disc whose rotation made the surrounding air immensely hot.

”Hot Cutting!”

Aiming at the white magic light beam, Li Yan cast the long-prepared magic in his hand, wielding his signature technique.

The fiery red disc instantly cleaved the Demon King’s white magic light beam in half, the frozen ice blocks rapidly burned into pristine white steam by the scorching flame disc.

With the final contraction of the rope, Gao Yuanyi burst through the white steam, flinging himself into the crocodile’s mouth.

Yang Yu had already reached the vicinity of the crocodile and could have used Protective Assistance Charge to reach Bai Jin, but he chose to wait for the arriving Gao Yuanyi.

Yang Yu wasn’t sure if the crocodile would rescue them...if he arrived first in the crocodile’s mouth, the crocodile might ditch Gao Yuanyi and turn to flee.

Casually burning bridges like that was something Yang Yu wouldn’t do.

Moreover, he found the suddenly appearing Demon Clan extremely intriguing.

After confirming everyone was present, Yang Yu did not hesitate to use Protective Assistance Charge, his figure flickering and appearing beside Bai Jin, drilling into the crocodile’s mouth.

Without any hesitation, the crocodile firmly shut its mouth, pushing its short limbs against the ground, burrowing into a huge fissure and escaping underground.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, wanted to do something more but was too late for everything.

Witnessing everything that had just occurred, indescribable emotions gradually unveiled on the Deceitful Emperor’s face.

Reluctance, confusion, anger...and an unprecedented determination all mixed together.

If he possessed the same strength as in the Demon World now, it would absolutely be impossible for them all to escape.

But obtaining the same strength as in the Demon World would need a long, long time.

The heroes of this world, and the Goddess’ Apostle appearing here, would not grant him time, allowing him to develop slowly.

The Goddess’ Apostle would certainly act again, devising ways to resolve him before he became invincible, just like the past heroes and Goddess’ Apostle.

He thought that this time he had prepared quite well, but it turned out that the goddess had gathered an unusually remarkable Goddess’ Apostle.

If this time isn’t successful, the goddess’s power will only grow stronger, and all past events will replay.

The Deceitful Emperor turned his gaze toward the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, and Black Diamond Lorne shook his head at the Deceitful Emperor.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne secretly attached some tiny steel fragments to the giant crocodile.

But the giant crocodile seemed to have sensed all of Black Diamond Lorne’s actions long ago, somehow rubbing those tiny steel fragments off its body.

Stepping onto the melted icy battlefield, Ammonval rekindled the flames.

The explosive chariot caused him quite the headache, and by the time he reacted, intending to support the Demon King, everything was already over.

Ammonval wanted to say something but ultimately remained silent upon seeing the enormous crack on the ground.

Meanwhile.

The enormous crocodile swiftly crawled through the subterranean cave, and after confirming the Demon King hadn’t caught up, Agares used teleportation magic, taking Yang Yu and the others away from the battleground forever.

The gray barrier had a locking effect, but to Agares, undoing this effect was a breeze.

Agares is the most knowledgeable demon in both alteration and teleportation magic, bar none.

Sitting inside the crocodile’s mouth, Gao Yuanyi and Yang Yu simultaneously take out lanterns, the bright light quickly illuminating the crocodile’s mouth.

Inside the crocodile’s mouth, there was no trace of life, everything was constructed from something resembling silicone.

At the part leading to the esophagus, an elderly man clutching a magic wand sat casually on the ground, a hawk perched on his shoulder, with their eyes sporting an eerie inverted-V pattern.

Yang Yu and Gao Yuanyi simultaneously saw the elder’s attributes:

Agares

Level: LV 200

Race: Demon, HP: 474592/600000, MP: 654111/800000

Extremely structured attributes signify that since its creation, the demon has undergone almost no changes.

Before Yang Yu could speak, Agares took the lead to greet Yang Yu and the others:

”Nice to meet you.

My name is Agares, and I am a demon.”

After hearing Agares’ self-introduction, Bai Jin and the others who had just relaxed quickly became alert.

The old man seemed unconcerned and said:

”Such an expected response.

No need to be on high alert.

If I truly intended to do something to you, I wouldn’t have waited until now.

”

Yang Yu raised his hand, signaling his companions not to be tense, then representing everyone, he posed the question they were concerned about:

”Thank you for saving our lives.

I want to know why you saved us?

I don’t want to be escaping one danger only to enter another.

If you truly intend to do something to us, I will not hesitate to oppose you.”

The old man grinned and laughed boisterously:

”You truly dare say such words.

I remember that was the moment you instructed your own companions to throw themselves into the crocodile’s mouth.”

Yang Yu gazed at Agares and said, ”That’s because at that time, I believed someone would save us; I just hadn’t expected it would be a demon.”

Agares’s laughter abruptly halted, smiling wryly:

”Did you truly not notice?”
